Kind of a small market with a variety of grocery items and cooked food. Really like their ground beef skewers with grilled tomatoes and rice. No dining in, but there are some outdoor seating (not very clean). A quick good to-go place. Staff is very friendly.

Very tasty must o museer yogurt, food is cheap too. The Persian market is interesting, the charging guy is nice, friendly, and humorous.

Hands down the best food and service in the area. My family and I came on a Wednesday night around 6:30 and had the best kabobs, tea, Persian ice cream and experience. The staff were incredibly gracious, kind and sincerely hospitable. The food is top notch and very clean. We can’t wait to support this local businesses again next week!

Lacking good costumer service. I dont remember they ever writing the food price in the receipt. So, when we go pay they may charge different price than we saw at the menu up there. It happened with me and my friends more than once. They should have better attitude towards the costumers. Without the costumers no business survive! Am I right or am I right?

Amazing place! We found this gem completely by chance today. We didnt get any kabab but got other traditional prepared food. They were both the best Iranian food weve ever had in Bay Area and lovely people too! Highly recommend!

Cashier is rude and gives you hard time for a Sumak and a hot sauce when you have spent $100+ and always asks for tip for his kitchen folks for a take out order.

Very good Shish Kobab for reasonable price

Hosting a couple of friends for dinner and on a lookout for some authentic perisan food, i found Rose Market to be the place for that order. Located in a beautiful and serene location (the drive was absolutely worth it :) ) it definitely has everything screaming Authentic right off the bat.Ended up ordering a bunch of items namely, the juicy kebabs they offer ( koubideh and the chicken breast kebab), ghormeh sabzi and fesnjan ( came out more sweet than expected, so got to watch out for that), some sherazi salad and mast o khiar.Every bite was delicious and the food was hit amongst the guests without an iota of a doubt.Would definitely come back for more for the authenticity and taste that they offer in their dishes and the drive to the restaurant is as well, all totally worth it!!!

The dish looks like a monster?!! The beef and lamb were better than the chicken dish my wife had. Tables needed some attention, napkin dispensers were grimey and empty. Will still come back. Also, lets all boycott the styrofoam cups they have out for table water. Cashier says its the bosss choice

A small deli like environment, with a well stocked market. Some of the best Persian food ive had the pleasure of eating, great prices, very friendly staff. The food is prepared in a very traditional manor, and the recipes used are reminiscent of those found in my grandmothers own kitchen.

Rose Market is a good place to get authentic Persian food. Beside the grilled food, there is an import market that carries Persian favorites like the salted yogurt drinks (which is an acquired taste, and not for everyone). There are things on the menu for the adventurous as well are safe strut for the American pallet. You cant go wing with the kabobs and tomatoe with saffron rice, for instance.

Our favorite of all the restaurants in saratogas big basin strip. Kubedeh meat skewers, with roasted tomatoes, and Gormeh Sabzi greens and meat on rice are our favs.

The foods great Mediterranean fare. Grocery items too. You can eat outside on nice days. It was raining today and the tent roof is all ripped up. Needs some upkeep.

Great option for affordable tacos - a la carte or as a package. Nice location on a quieter block in Chinatown. Small seating, not ideal for bigger groups but fine for a quick bite with 2-4. Great take out and generally fast with exceptional quality. The veggie taco was flavorful with mushrooms peppers and avocado, as well as good tender fish tacos. Great prices and very fast, cute place just on the small side!

This is our favorite place in Saratoga downtown for a quick meal or a takeout. They are a sister store of the Rose Market in Mountain View. The assortment of goods and the menu are different. The unique item on the grill menu are the game hens. They have indoor and outdoor seating and they allow dogs in the patio.

Persian food and the atmosphere at this place is excellent. Fast, efficient, and courteous service. The place has a great atmosphere.

Mom and pop grocery store in a not so busy strip mall. The vegetables look fresh and very affordable in price. Staff is also very friendly answering questions, seems like a very good small business type of establishment that I love to support. They also have some samosas freshly-baked which are awesome.

The food didnt taste anything like Persian food! I think the stews and kabobs were old because they lost their taste! Not to mention I was charged extra $4 for nothing and so was my party! Nice guy but please make sure what are you being charged for before you pay or leave!

Lion Market is a no frills Chinese/Asian owned store. When you walk in your overwhelmed with the traditional overpowering fish smell, which once you get used to it is more than made up for the quality produce at great prices and extensive selection of fish and related seafood items.This is not an epicurean experience by any sense, but a safe, dependable environment for Asian related food with a lighter selection of traditional items you would expect at your local Safeway.Service is usually non existent and there are very few English speakers, however its usually not an issue.Highly recommended for fish, produce and the price is much more competitive than Safeway/Lucky making this a go to shopping destination.

Very friendly middle eastern place with tasty food. Very authentic. One of the best middle eastern places Ive found in the bay area, and Ive spent a few years in the middle East, so I know what Im talking about.

If you are ok with terrible service, obnoxious staff, but great food, then this is your place. I dont know what it is, but the owner and staff give a damn about customers. They get irritated about anything and everything. Yet I go there because the food is so darn good. So you wear a headset, order your favorite food and enjoy it while seeing other unsuspecting customers getting ridiculed by the staff.

Great selection, good pricing & the very flavorful Mediterranean beef stew I ordered was ready as fast as I could pay for it!They have several casual tables to dine at indoors and outside and a nice selection of sweets 😋

I used to like this store and their cooking when they were on Castro Street in Mountain view. We have ordered food from them a few weeks ago. When my husband pick it up, it was in the flimsy containers that folded while he was opening the trunk. The containers were hot and not reinforced. No one offered him help, and he did not think to ask for it until he was at the car and the containers were folding in itself spilling the food. The food: rice was pretty good, koobideh was mediocre. The entire experience was blemished

The meal was tasty but the price was not the one listed on the menu...so I dont know if it was updated on prices but I was in a hurry and didnt want to argue. It was almost $20.00 for a one person plate.
