The store manager Shannon is wonderful!! She took such great care of me when I came in last minute needing an exam. She made sure I had everything I needed and was so sweet. We had previously had not so good experiences, but as long as she is there my family will keep returning!

I am trying to book an appt, I read thru the reviews and there is nothing good to say about this place.As any customer these days I feel customer service is lacking everywhere. I ha e changed my mind about making an appt, dont want the hassle.

I had two times reschedule request from doctor office for my appointment. First request came couple days ago and second one came couple hours ago in the same day of appointment. And there was no help other then say that “ Sorry, If you want we can reschedule it” . And they were giving me couple more week later . I don’t want waste my time anymore .

Second time on this awful place witch i tottaly regret to go! The front attendant is like a dead person who doesn’t even talk . I was treated really awful on both locations Medford and specialty Saigus . More than two hours to complete an eye exame and still getting attitude from the crew workers . Never recommendthis place to anyone! Awful 🤢🤮

I totally agree with any negative feedback that this location is getting. Awful service, takes months to book an appointment, the doctor always sick and more. My appointment was cancelled on the same day after waiting for months, so the receptionist didn´t know when the doctor will be available. It literally takes 10 minute to check in and God knows what my insurance is getting charged for. Unpredictable!It´s time for a change of heart.

This is literally the worst experience I have EVER had trying to purchase glasses. My prescription was wrong twice. When I came in the second time to try on my glasses I was told that I needed to get smaller frames so that my prescription wouldn’t be distorted. The idea that I need smaller frames doesn’t make any sense as I had also purchased sunglasses that were even larger than the pair that was wrong and they were fine. I called the store at least a dozen times trying to speak to a manager with no luck. Finally got a manager on the phone to request a refund and was told it would be processed and never got a receipt.Called back a week later to ask for a receipt and was told that the manager was with a customer and that she would call me right back. I then waited 40 minutes for that callback that I didn’t get, called the store AGAIN To ask to speak to the manager and was told that she had left. At this point I was obviously angry and said that expected a call back before the store closed at 7 and the call “cut out” (honestly I think they hung up on me) so I called back once again and said that at this point I would be physically coming to the store to speak to the manager face-to-face and I would not be leaving until I got my receipt.I had to go all the way back to the store and sit and wait for the manager who is actually in the back even though I was told she was not in the store. Then she told me that it could take up to a month for the refund to process and I explained that I just wanted a receipt to prove that it had been done. She took quite a while to get the receipt for me and when I left the store I checked the date to find that she had just processed my refund while I waited.I know that this is the case because I also got a copy of my original receipt which had the original transaction date on it and my refund receipt had today’s date not last weeks.I also haven’t even mentioned that when I was originally picking out my frames another customer came into the store complaining that their prescription was wrong as well. I don’t understand what is going on at this location but something seriously needs to change. At this point you literally could not pay me to go back to this location.

Worst customer service experience. And to top it off they close earlier then what theyre supposed too. Should up at the door 10 minutes before 7PM and the gates were already closed. Bunch of lazy people. Closing shop early. Thats awesome 👌

Worst place to go for a eye exam and glasses. The customer service here is horrible. Besides them giving me a bad prescription they didnt want to fix it the 2nd time. They said my insurance wouldnt cover it without them even checking with my insurance. Never again here. Horrible.

I cannot speak to the quality of the products or services since the appointment I scheduled was unexpectedly cancelled. I had scheduled an eye appointment a month in advance, with numerous confirmation emails and texts. Regardless, my appointment was cancelled the morning of. The doctor was reportedly in another location (Malden) and the Saugus location was closed? I imagine this information was available to the staff in advance... Adequate notice would have been appreciated.

I got a pair of glasses in January or February. I got glasses plus sunglasses. Covid hit and I was unable to return them to do the prescription was off. I tried to return when they opened and was told I was past the 90 days. Are you kidding me. Needless to say I paid for glasses that I never wore. I will never go back there.

I went in today to pick up my sunglasses and the man name Will was so kind he went above for me, I wanted my glasses a hit darker he had no problem showing me something darker he told me he will order up and do himself for me he just wanted me to be happy.He let me leave with my new sunglasses and it was a breeze ordering up new color.I must say everyone greeted me and most of all a pleasure. Thank you. Great job Will.

Decide to go with Davis vision insurance this year and the verification went pretty smoothly. I got my old glasses readjusted while waiting too. Pretty happy with the service.

Since I first started going to Visionworks, I’ve always felt like I was a welcomed customer, the staff had always made me feel important. Today was no exception. I had the pleasure of having Peter help me out. I walked in pretty desperate to have my glasses fixed because my two year old yet again broke the frames. Peter was quick and attentive - he had them fixed in no time. He did me a great service today as we had been down on our luck lately. You never know who’s day you might make just by being kind, thank you Peter!

Customer service is great and all. Their prescription they give you for your eyes is completely wrong. Idk what happened between the back room test, and the finalized strength recorded but its not the same.

Better pricing on both contacts and glasses than the other place in the mall. I wish I set my eye exam through them.My eye glass frames came in nicked and it was going to be another week or so until the new frame came in. They let me know ASAP let me take the nicked frames and had already ordered new ones when I went to pick them up. I would have waited but it was a new prescription to match my contacts so I took them.Quick and friendly service compared to the other place. You will not be in an out of any eyeglass place quickly and after spending lost hours at the other place the time spent at Visionworks is reasonable.

Thx to Visionworks for wasting half of my afternoon. Typical insurance thing. Lack of follow through. They’re listed as a provider by my insurer. I gave them the information to make sure prior to my appointment. I was told they’d call me if they didn’t take it and that if I got the confirmation text they did take it. I show up, they never checked it, and on top of that she obviously turned her nose up at me (visibly making the gross face) upon learning who my provider is. I might have low rent insurance but I know how to follow through! :-P

Itll be my first and last time going to Visionworks. Had an eye exam and order for contacts on June 29th, waited 2 weeks (July 13th) then I went in to see if its ready or not (because I was already at the mall). Was told that they never even ordered it and asked if they were trials. I told her I dont know, youre the one who took my card and did the payments while distracting me to go check out the glasses that were on sale. So comes July 24th, called them again and the same girl said she will ask someone else about it and will email me asap (best way to contact me while Im at work). No emails. So I called in again and asked for a refund because its been nearly a month and was told I couldnt because they were trials. They charged me $80 for the trials and she said no the $80 is for the eye exam/contacts fit, it goes towards the doctor not them. But Im pretty sure my insurance covered the exam. Seems kind of fishy to me, but that was my experience. Horrible service!

Was told on the phone I could use the 2 for $99 on both my kids (1 pair each) I went in the store and I was told I couldnt do it and they didnt seem happy enough to help me out with matching the deal that I was told. Will not get my business.
