Traditional diner with good food.

Pretty solid diner experience with that classic diner vibe, down to the jukebox at the table. The food was delicious. Service was friendly. And the food prompt. Id definitely hit this place up again when Im back in the area.

Good, quick diner

Easy to see right off of West Main Street servicing Sayville and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Moderately clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will most likely be going back.

Horrible service. We had an extremely rude waitress, She was rushing us out of there the entire time even though we got there around 7:40 and left around 8:40 and they don’t even close till 9:00! She literally ripped the dessert menu out of my hands when I was deciding on what to order to “show me what they don’t have right now” it was clear she just wanted us gone, no hospitality whatsoever, she even tried pushing me to order my dessert to go or to just not order dessert at all . when my wife ordered a milkshake she rolled her eyes and gave us an attitude because she clearly didn’t want to go through the trouble of making it. The food is usually pretty good but apparently it’s under new management, and the service there is just awful now. My family & I have gone here for years and decided that last night was the very last time.

Prices are terrific! A bit outdated looking but family owned and nice people. Seafood is fresh tasting too. Needs a bit more variety on board specials. However, food is good. Be sure to try the bread pudding!

Got here just as they opened at some crazy hour. Although the place was quiet and the waitress was bored, playing on her phone, she was always keeping an eye on me, keeping coffee coming, and making sure everything was good. I had eggs and toast. Overall, food was as expected at a diner, well cooked and hardy. As more people started coming in and the waitress was busier, she kept passing by to check on me. I dont go to the diner often, but Ill be back to this one the next time the opportunity presents.

Their pancakes are EXCELLENT ! I tried the grilled chicken pesto panini, also very, very. good. I especially liked the matzo ball soup.

It is under new management so my husband and I figured we would try it again. It was definitely better than before, the food was good but they need better staff. My food arrived lukewarm. The diet coke tasted weird and the waitress seemed to know about it and offered something else. My husband said the French onion soup was the best hes had! Despite the slow service, we will go back to give it a chance.

I am a resident of Sayville and have been going to the Seacrest Diner for years and we have never been disappointed. The service is very efficient and courteous, the food is always delicious and the portions are large (I always have some to bring home!). The owner is very nice, he always comes over to the table to ask how everything is. Tonight I had their Greek salad with grilled chicken which is by far, the best Greek salad around! The best diner!

It was a great experience! Went in with a table of 10+ and everyone was satisfied!! Our waitress was on point and all employees were super nice!! We will be back again!!!

Very experienced staff. Menu carries something for everybody. Had a Burger Deluxe with all the trimmings. Cooked right too.

This place is terrible. The only reason why my family goes is because it’s my grandfather’s favorite place to eat. Everything is over cooked. Baked clams were burnt through and way over-breaded. You could tell the soup was poured out of a can. The only plus was that the staff were friendly and attentive. Don’t go here

Guys, this is a diner. What did you expect?? The food is consistent diner food. I only eat breakfast at diners and their breakfast is always good. Their service is so friendly and nice and professional.

Service great...burgers are really good. Stuffed shrimp dinner was disappointing, i wouldnt recommend. Great specials that include dessert, appetizer, drink, soup or salad, and entree.

Beware they are under new ownership. I ordered the corn beef hash. It smelt sour and tasted bad. I told the waitress and she said sorry and asked if i want a piece of toast or more corn beef (what the heck). The owner never came out and they charge the full amount for it. I sent my Husband to paid and they only took 2 dollars. Disgraceful way to treat patrons when you are the ones serving bad food.

I see no reason to eat out here They dont make any particular food well its predominantly average. I had the seafood platter and the muscles had a very high and raw smell that was simply unacceptable for fresh seafood. My colleagues has a similar problem with the rather bland tasting food. Despite what you order the outcome of the food very generic tasting.There arent lots of combinations and options for food but they just done deliver on taste.

Ive only been here for breakfast...but very good coffee offers me a newspaper to read while I am there, great service and cooks the eggs perfectly.

My food was good, my wifes was missing the feta cheese that was supposed to be in her wrap. The room was cold.

The food here *tastes* good, but I am now suffering from my second bout of food poisoning after eating something from this diner. The first time, I ordered a ruben and had horrible stomach pains. Since I have a lot of food sensitivities, I went to my chiropractor/nutritionist along with samples of the sandwich to see if I had a sensitivity/allergy to something in it. She said that I was reacting to the corned beef. Figuring that it was my problem, since Im allergic to several things, I told my husband to eat the leftovers. Then he ate the remainder of my ruben sandwich and got horrible diarrhea. Then yesterday, my husband brought home a to go order of pea soup. I saw it in the fridge and ate it, figuring it was from a deli. I got horrible heart burn and stomach pains. When I asked him where he got the pea soup, he said the Sea Crest diner! My mother-in-law had ordered the pea soup while she was there and thought it tasted delicious; thats why my husband brought some home. But when I called my MIL this morning, she said that she got food poisoning also! Im never going back there again. I cant take the risk.

Had the eggs florentine and corned beef hash on the side. Eggs were undercooked as the whites were runny and the hollandaise broke. The hash was a plate of mush like it had been frozen. I wont be returning.

Was sat right away. Then took them 20 minutes to take our order. Then 25 minutes to get our food. No check backs no refills. Horrible service. No change. Still the same.
