Tim was my technician and he was so nice and professional. Very respectful of my home and did the work quickly. He called 30 min before arrival and I would definitely use this company again! This was for an LG refrigerator that was under warranty. Burdette was the office girl who took my call and she was nice and followed up after the visit to make sure I was satisfied.
King the technician was friendly and answered our questions as he fixed our refrigerator. The whole Fix It First crew was top notch. From the people we talked to on the phone to King who did the work . Very helpful and nice to deal with. I would definitely use them again to fix any of my appliances.

Ive used fix it first several times for service and assistance with my appliance issues. This recent experience was for my fridge because it wasnt cooling. My washer was not working, called my warranty and they sent this horrible person(never did the job). Call my warranty again and they gave me Fix It 1st. This is what you call AMAZING work. I called Fix It 1st and I spoke with this AMAZING representative her name is Thea. I told her my story about my washer, how I have been wait 3 weeks for the old person to fix my washer and nothing was happening. Thea assured me that everythings going to be OK that I came to the right company Fix It 1st. Then Thea made it happen when she got the tec to come out the next day. Thea is AMAZING. Then Tim came and looked at my washer and fixed it. Tim also assured us that we have the best washer. Tim knows his job and is a great technician. By far this was the best experience with technicians we have ever had. The team at Fix It 1st is the best. I have a Sear home warranty and if anything breaks, I will only request Fix It 1st. My Warranty service has been a disaster, but the people at Fix it First have tried to help me with my refrigerator repair. Because of the Warranty company, my refrigerator is still not repaired until they OK the repair. I found that the people from this company; Fix it First tried to expedite the service I needed. And the technician who came in checked everything he could check and was extremely polite, professional and on time. I respect that! I will probably call this company once I dump my Warranty company.

They didnt clean the bottom of the refrigerator. This caused the compressor to shut down.they over charged me, had to call another business to fix their mistakes and save my refrigerator.
We had FIX IT 1ST come out to assist a warranty company with fixing my refrigerator. The tech was Mr King, who was able to quickly diagnose the issue. The information was quickly relayed to Burdette who worked with the warranty company to resolve the issue.The warranty company was not working very quickly and Burdette needed to make multiple phone calls on my behalf to the warranty company to get the issue resolved to my satisfaction. I had a problem with my microwave and could not get an appointment from my warranty company. Finally they referred me to Fix it First. I received a call from Thea at Fix it First, who was extremely helpful. She was kind and sought to find a good solution for me considering that the warranty company had me waiting since November 2020. I’m writing this on January 6, 2021. I have not yet experienced their work so I can’t comment on that but I was really appreciative of the way Thea took care of me because prior to speaking with her I fully intended to cancel my warranty.

I called GE because my washer wasnt draining the water out. They sent Fix It 1st out to service it. Techs Kyle and Jesus came out and corrected the issue with my drain hose. They made sure that I understood everything by answering all of my questions....and a had quite a few. My now unit is up and running and Im sure that Ill be calling them again. Thanks Guys.

The technician, King, was very personable. This was the second company we used for this problem. The first company was not able to repair and seemed to be making excuses. King quickly assessed the issue and repaired immediately. He brought proper tolls and replacement parts with him. I would most definitely use this company and, in particular, this technician again. Usually appliance repair is worse than a visit to the dentist. This was far from a visit to the dentist. Wonderful experience for appliance repair!
The service was unparalleled from start to finish. The receptionist was very good at setting up a date and time for our dryer repair. She even called with a reminder the day before. Our dryer was blowing cold air and Kyle Davis quickly replaced the thermofuse. In addition he gave us some recommendations for the upkeep of the our appliances. Anxious for an immediate repair to be made, I spoke with Ms. Valeria and Ms. Thea, explaining my need for an immediate technician within hours. She, Ms. Thea and Ms. Valeria informed me of their earliest date of (1 June 2020).Thinking only of myself, Ms. Thea explained how other customers needed immediate repairs, whos issues, compared to mines were of more importance. Issues related to health matters, like keeping their medicine refrigerated.I had to take a breath, and its because of Ms. Thea that helped me to reflect and understand that my oven issue was not that big of a deal, compared to their other customers, needing emergency repairs, a lot sooner then mine. I cannot recommend this company for many reasons. I had to contact my warranty company for my clothes washer. They dispatched Fix it First, but they did not respond for two weeks, even after I called them several times. They sent a technician who didnt fix my problem and I had to contact my warranty company again two days later with the same problem. Fix it First ignored my calls and all emails and calls from my warranty company. I finally got ahold of Miss Valerie, (one month later)who was very cordi,al and helpful. Other staff told me they would call me back in a few hours, but never did. The same technician was sent out again and diagnosed the motor was bad. Exactly what I told him. It took 3 weeks more to get a motor and schedule a time to install. Jesus brought a bad motor (not his fault) with a cut wire. It took two more weeks to get another motor and schedule another install. Two and half months later my washer is now working. Because it took so long, the warranty company had cancelled the claim and I had to almost start the whole process over again with another company.I would never personally hire this company.
My home warranty company assigned Fix It 1st to repair my refrigerator. Their customer service is excellent! Thea was so sweet and understanding as she listened to my concerns, and scheduled a repair appointment for the next day. The technician, Jesus, arrived on time and diagnosed the problem within minutes. He was very knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. A part had to be ordered, but Thea worked quickly with my warranty company and was able to have the tech back just 2 days later. Thea and Jesus were awesome and really care about customers. Our 4 yr old LG refrigerator stopped cooling. LG made three trips to our home under warranty and could not get our refrigerator to work. We were without our refrigerator for 5 weeks. Fix it 1st was contacted by LG and scheduled an appointment in two days. Thea (our scheduler) was a superstar and became our advocate at fix it first. I hope she gets a raise for how well she cared for us and followed up numerous times after her job was done. Our technician was also awesome. He came one time to diagnose and order parts then came back quickly and fixed our refrigerator on his day off. Ive been trying to schedule a service appointment all week (since Monday, and its now Friday). Cant get anyone on the phone. left 3+ voicemails and only received one callback very late in the evening which of course I missed and then couldnt reach anyone again the next day or since...Update:Funny enough, as soon as I posted this review, I got a call from a manager (which I actually received, versus going straight to voicemail...) ABOUT my review. Seems they are over capacity and still in business, if you are one of the lucky folks that can get through.

Fix it First came out to service our refrigerator through our Best Buy warranty. They called beforehand to see if they could come a bit early, arrived promptly and were friendly and efficient. Both gentleman thoroughly explained the issue and cleaned up after the repair. After having a tech, from a different company, walk out three days before due to a fear of our dogs, who we had put outside, the customer service was a welcome change.

I was worried when I had to call my home warranty company to find a vendor to fix my air conditioning. You never know who you are going to get when you dont get to choose. But I have to say from the moment Fix it 1st called me she was funny and pleasant and helpful. I got my appointment relatively soon after the call, and my tech was on time. He was very nice and made me feel comfortable. He did quick work finding what the issue was and getting the part he needed. He was in and out within an hour and cleaned up after himself. He gave me some recommendations for future service. Overall great service will definitely recommend to others.
The repairmen, Jay & King are great! They are always very professional, courteous and informative. Yes, they have to my house a few times for different repairs. In addition, the scheduler and dispatch team will try to accommodate my schedule as much as possible. I Dont know if GE or HOME DEPOT is responsible for solving my issue, but I do know who did. My friend Thea at Fix it 1st Service, within 10minutes and two phone calls she resolved what at least three service people could or would not do. Thea should be employed to retrain the service people at GE/HOME DEPOT or at least recognize by them for the good job she is doing, But I doubt they will. # may not shop there again. Very professional and excellent service from Fix it 1st! Needed a repair on an oven and thanks to Jesus and Kyle who were very polite and helpful, they fixed the oven very quickly and efficiently.
Had a leaking dishwasher, so a technician was sent out to do an assessment. During the assessment, the technician damaged a button on the control panel but did not inform me or make a note in his report. Through his assessment, it was determined that I needed a replacement part and it would be ordered and a second technician would come and install it. The second technician replaced the part (dishwasher still continued to leak) and then couldnt turn on the appliance because of the damage incurred from the first technician. So the second technician informed me that the company would call me the following day to schedule the repair of the control panel. They didnt call me for 4 days and when they did, I was expected to pay for the repair. And that repair, would still have not fixed the initial problem I was having.
My experience with Fix It 1st was gratifying. The issue that I had with my garbage disposal was not corrected on the first time, however it was on the second visit. The disposal was replaced by the company with one of better quality. King was the service technician and he did outstanding job. He was professional, cordial, and knowledgeable.
We were assigned Fix it First by our home warranty company when our dishwasher stopped working. EJ and Jesus were professional and courteous both times they were here. They diagnosed the issue, ordered the part and were out to fix it again when the part came in. We were notified of their arrival when they were on the way within our given window. They repaired the dishwasher (to my kids’ excitement 🤣) and were pleasant to work with.

Referred to them by my home warranty company. After repairing my stove (that set off my CO2 detector and had me overcome from fumes) the technician told us to open the windows when you use the stove, dont use it for longer than 45 minutes, and dont use the self cleaning feature. Cant find any of that in the manual, and what Thanksgiving meal, dessert, or hunk of meat can I cook that takes less than 45 minutes?! I called the office initially and was told they would look into it but no one called me back. I called the office again and reached the same customer service rep who first told me there may be exhaust, just open the window, then changed her reply in the same conversation to the stove is fine maam. I finally asked for a manager. The customer service person replied ok, hung up the phone on me, and had the technician call me back - ooook. The technician denied ever telling us that he gave us those warnings initially and insisted the stove is fine, despite the fact that he gave that same warning to both me and my husband separately when he was here in person. A manager as of this writing has NEVER contacted us back. Im stuck with an oven Im afraid to use because the warranty company bases their final disposition on the repair company.
First let me say that Thea that schedule appointments has the best personality.. She was very understanding of my issue. My fridge/freezer was not getting cold nor freezing food.. Thea was able to get someone out asap and this young man (Jay) was so pleasant.. He immediately asset the problem. Fit it 1st is a first rate organization. They repaired my Refrigerator and air conditioning unit. Jesus was very knowledgeable and had my washing machine going in less than a half hour.He was professional and very pleasant to talk to. Explained everything as he went along.
My dryer was making a noise it hadn’t made before, I called Fix it 1st and they had a tech there that evening! They were even able to get the part and install it before I needed to use it again!
