I recently had my car vandalized and took it to CARSTAR Liss Auto Body in Schererville, Indiana, as was recommended by my insurance company. They did a great job on my 11 year old car - looks like new. It required almost a complete paint job. Everything was explained to me, I had the quote upfront and very quickly, and my car was ready quickly. I strongly recommend them if you have some necessary repair work.

Been here once before, that first time made the decision to come back again as they do really well making the vehicle look like new again and not some cheap repair/paint job other places do. Carstar also stays in touch with you to see how the repair progress is going and stay up to date without having to call them. They did complete it right before our rental had to be returned according to our rental insurance policy limits.

Second time Ive used them, and I have no complaints. Great communication, well organized, and solid work. I hope I dont have to go back, but if I do need body work again, Ill go here.

I came to Car Star to get an estimate on my Dually truck that had some damages on both Rear Fenders. I spoke with a Gentleman named Bruce. He was extremely as professional as can be. Very informative and took his time to make sure I understood everything about the repairs that were needed. The vehicle unfortunately had parts that were no longer available. Bruce still tried to work on finding us the parts to get the repair finished.However, had no luck in doing so. Before I came to Car Star I had went to another local body that was extremely unprofessional for my first estimate. Car Star should have been my first stop. Long story short. Bruce had put in his time and efforts to send over an estimate to our Insurance company and put in the time and effort knowing his shop would not be receiving the work due to the parts being unattainable. This is a 5 Star establishment and I will most definitely be bringing them any further work I may need to be done. Keep up the amazing work and customer service Bruce!!

They saw me right away for estimate (I didnt have an appointment) and within 15 min I had my price. They promised me the vehicle would be ready on a certain day and lo behold they called me that morning letting me know its ready for pick up. When I picked up the car it was exceptionally clean. They even cleaned the interior, down to wiping my dash, center console and windows. In the world where everything is so difficult and people so dishonest this place was as easy as 1 2 3. I dealt with Nathan.

I had a car accident on New Years Day. It was traumatic.Getting your car fixed can be frightening, but. this experience was not.Bruce and Nathan and their team were honest and had a high level of integrity.They did my estimate quickly. The parts were ordered and they did the repair very fast.They gave me updates every step of the way.They were kind and made me feel safe leaving my truck with them.Having a car accident is not the most beautiful experience you can have but it helps when the people who fix the problem make you feel at ease.This was a beautiful car repair experience . I couldnt have asked for more.I would highly recommend them especially if you have a Honda or Toyota.This business will last a long time because they understand how to treat customers.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Had a large dent in bumper. They ordered a new one and painted it ahead of time. When it was ready we dropped the van off for a few hours so they could switch them out. They will be our go to body shop when needed. Paint looks great . (Update) Ok, so we had to go back again. Someone backed into the van in a parking lot. In case you are looking for a body shop, I say go here! They are awesome. Nathan is great, very friendly! And they did an awesome job fixing the van. Kudos to the body shop guys who did the work! And a bonus to us, they cleaned the interior of it! Thanks everyone!

Very friendly easy to work with they are nice people and very helpful but when it comes to quality of work with paint after first wash noticed bad swirl marks or webbing few months later no bueno. Now when its seeing the weather there is no polish or wax on the paint so its already starting to fade.

Everyone in the office was very personable! My vehicle came back looking like it did the day I purchased it. Overall great experience i would Highly recommend using them!

From the first phone call, Nathan was professional, polite, patient, and helpful. Upon seeing the car in person, his suggestion for the most economic repair for the damage to the rear of the vehicle was accurate and appreciated. While there is other, somewhat extensive cosmetic damage to the lower door areas on the passenger side of the car, he never pushed or even strongly suggested that we should really get all of it repaired.Customer service is a hard found commodity in todays time, in any industry. Nathan expresses it every single time he speaks with you. Although we did not interact with any other staff at CARSTAR Liss, we are confident that they all conduct themselves with the same customer care as Nathan. And the repair work was spot on! My 2013 Dodge Challenger was side swiped. Prior to this, this car had no damages. All I wanted was for it to look like this never happened. I obtained five estimates. I chose Carstar. Carstar was reasonable, fast, the customer service was excellent and I got exactly what I wanted, The work was impeccable.

I brought my Chevy Tahoe here after being rear ended. The job took a little longer than i thought but i was updated on the status of my suv. Im happy with how the new bumper and the little bit of damage to the rear door came out. Paint looks slick! I will be doing business with Carstar again!

They billed the other woman’s insurance company, they took care of getting the rental car back for me since I was there alone, they kept me updated all week on the progress of the van, and if fixing my van perfectly wasn’t enough with a nice car wash (BONUS), they left me a sweet little Christmas gift on my seat as a thank you for choosing them! Liss Carstar did a quality job on time as promised.Theyre my go to collision repair company.They treat me like family.

We chose them to do our body work on a dent in the front bumper of my Sienna. They were recommended to us and they turned out to be a great choice. I went to a couple other body shops last week and the other places wanted me to return the next day for a price. Carstar gave me a price the same day. It seemed reasonable so I decided to go with it. I havent been disappointed. I was told they would order a new bumper cover and it would take a day to get it. Then they said they would paint it to match. After it was ready they would let me know and then I would drop off my van and they would replace the bumper cover. So, on Friday the 13th, they said it was done. They had an opening on Tuesday the 17th. But it didnt work for me as I had to be to work by 9 a.m. and I knew that I would not have the time to drop it off and get a rental as they open at 8. So, I asked about today, the 18th, and they were available. So, I took it in at 8 a.m. I got the rental and by 10:25 they called and said it was done. So, we went back to pick it up. They did a BEAUTIFUL job matching the paint. The guy there (Nathan) said he was nervous about the paint matching because they just picked a paint sample that was as close as they could get. So they were not sure how well it would match with not having the van there. It looks great! The bumper doesnt sit flush anymore, (on the side where the dent was)but he talked to the technician and was told that the guy had a hard time getting it to attach on that side. But he said that it could be because the fender was dented a little. It doesnt show, but it was possible. So he offered to either take a picture of it and send that to the manufacturer telling them that it didnt fit, so they would send a new one. Or he would give us some money back. I opted for some money back because it isnt super noticeable and I didnt want to go through waiting for it again. But, I thought it was good on the part of the company to want to make the customer happy. It is rare anymore and we told Nathan before we left that we will return if we need bodywork in the future. Hopefully we wont, but it is a great company that I would HIGHLY recommend.
