Went in for one tire and got charged 130 for all the extra warranty when I did not ask for that. When I picked up my car I clearly stated it should not be that much when the tire was $68. Guy at the counter then said cause the guy that took care of my car wasn’t there anymore and gave me a whole bunch of attitude. I’ve gotten my tires from here for years but will never be going back after this incident.

We were looking for new tires and advice on which tire would be best for our SUV. I only gave them 3 stars because they were to busy, so we just left. Which is good for them not for us. No one to talk to. We will go another day, but in the morning. I know It is that time of the year everyone wants to get tires for the bad weather. I will revisit my review after we go there again. They are located next to Menards in Schererville.

Called ahead of time since I would have been coming in close to close. Very friendly, got me in with no trouble at all. Quick patch and the nail removed. I wouldnt go anywhere else locally for tire trouble.

After a very negative experience at the Highland store, I drove to the Schererville store. Dan was great. I needed new tires and I was out in less than an hour without an appointment. Ill be going to the Schererville store from now on.

Waited for an hour to get a a tire patched. Gaeage sat empty for half hour, guys went to get lunch, then took a pick up that came in after me because he was getting tires. Never did get my tire patched here. Even if its free because I bought all 4 tires here, doesnt do any good if they wont fix them. Had to go down the street.

I found myself in a horrible situation at 627pm on Monday June 14th. After getting gas I realized I had a low tire. Had to go to 3 more gas stations before I found 1 with a working air machine . After filling up my tire I realized it had a hole between the threads. Had my son google tires near Schereville IN..TIRE BARN 1250 US HGWY 41..SCHEREVILLE IN..1.9 miles away and closes soon..7pm..its 638pm... Made it there at 645pm..was greeted by Mark..the manager.He told me he can take care of it if I want to wait.Awesome!!!!We were out the door at 709pm with new tires..very reasonable..Awesome service!!! I HIGHLY Recommend this shop!!!

Tires are good so far. Service was slow but thankfully they were able to complete the job same day as I had an online appointment for 10:00am and was out a little after 12:00noon. This is a very busy location and the workers were professional.

My husband called to make an appointment for a new tire. He was told a time. When we arrived, (early) they said they had no record of a call, so the wait would be an hour and a half. The person to whom we spoke was rude and seemed annoyed. We will NEVER go back and recommend that anyone considering Tire Barn to go elsewhere!

These guys are great! I had bought a car at the VW dealer on Friday and between driving it home I got a nail in my tire. I took it to the vw dealer and they said they couldnt repair it and were going to charge me 200 dollars for a new tire/install. I said no, drove down to tire barn and they were able to repair the tire in under an hour with no appointment.

Pre called asked if they repair tires I prefer patch tire only had 9000 miles on it. Replied yes bring it in. I told them I just left the dealer tire has slow leak theres a nail in it. They took tire off told me there was no nail. Sir your rims are garbage infiniti sells bad rims I will sand it down thats your problem. Went home parked. Decided to go out tire flat I filled with air removed pump felt air seeping through valve called tire barn next morning explained the issue can u please check my valve? Manager was very rude stated call the dealer its not our problem. Called corporate no answer left an email still waiting. Took car to car x not only did they discover the nail tire barn lied about they offered to put on my spare if I was not willing to purchase new tire. I felt great about them so I purchased the tire. Tire barn should refund my money for misdianosing my problem and charge me to possibly damage my rim. This location sucks and needs new management including customer interaction classes I will never go back to any Tire Barn

NO EMPLOYEES WEARING MASKS. Partition at desk is seriously useless and barely covers anything. Guy ringing me up answered his cell phone while talking to me and had his ringer all the way up. Quick service though. Was done in less than a half hour.

Very disappointed. Will not go back. Had tires rotated and asked for tire inspection. Was told all was fine. One week later I had to go back due to the same tire noise. Sure enough, uneven wear on the tire. (Which he demonstrated by showing me a different tire! Not even my tire!!) How was this not noticed if they supposedly did an inspection the week prior?? Oh. And they wouldn’t cover ANY of the expense to fix the issue, even though it was their tires and alignment originally. I will stick with discount tires from now on! Much more professional and much better service!!

Had appointment, had tires picked out, get there and was told that the guy I spoke with made error. Didnt have Goodyear tires in stock for my car and to get Goodyear tires would have to order and take a couple days or more and would cost a bunch more. Settled for tires I really didnt want and cost about 120.00 more than originally quoted. Was it a bait and switch, I am not sure. I needed tires, got them. Next time will spend more time shopping for a better deal and tires I want.

Took over 2hrs to swap winter tires to summer then after it was all done they mentioned did you know you are missing a lug nut..... They didnt even offer to sell me one, just its not there. Will never go there again!

Customer service depends on whos working I guess. Been having Rim leaks on tires they installed and had one fixed a month ago, but today they dont fix tires older than 6 years. Well tires last longer than six years on my work van that doesnt get a lot of mileage

First of all, to find a tire shop open on Sunday afternoon was a blessing, let alone one that has your tire. When two other shops were sold out. Mark answered my call, and let me know they had my tire, and also the prices for a brand new tire, or the price of the repair. It got even better when I walked in. I was greeted, and joked with right away, making me feel at ease and at home. Jose took my info, and told me they would take care of it. The tech even joked it would be a 3 hour wait!!!! Lol. There was only one other customer in the waiting area. Joking is sometimes needed, especially when youre stressed about your car. Fastest tire repair that Ive ever seen. These guys had me back on the road to be with my family in under 20 minutes. I will forever be a customer to Tire Barn of Schererville. Thanks again Jose, Mark, & company. You went above and beyond, and I will always remember that.

Tire light came on, so i took it to schererville tire barn, where i bought tires. Sensors worked fine untill they worked on it. Told me someone had already fixed something and valve stem was bad. Didnt want to argue and went strait to another place and had it fixed. I have the receipt. Maybe theyre trying to save money, but never again. Thanks for teaching me a new lesson. Prove everything works before anyone touches it.

More than 2 hours to change tires on 1 car WITH an appointment. This place is a joke.

Terrible customer service. Price wasnt in line with his competitors. & the wait was ridiculous.

Told us 2 hour wait.... 2 and a half hours later all 4 original tires were still on our car sitting in their garage. The manager and worker were unapologetic. They handed our keys back after wasting 3 hours of our time. No apologies offered. No appreciation. I will not return to this establishment.

I have now had two bad experiences here. Both times I called ahead figuring for faster service. First time I called around noon asking for a tire. They said they did not have it but highland did and they would have it there for my 4:30pm appointment to install and align my front end. When I got there they didnt have my tire and their tech for alignment had already left. They sent to get tire and I waited. Today I called around 1:30pm asking if I can get alignment done today. I was told tech is there till 4pm and there is no wait. I get there at 2:50pm and I am told I cant get it done because tech is leaving at 3pm today. I planned on ordering two more tires at the end of month. But think I will take my business else where.

Had a coupon for a free tire rotation and needed a tire sensor replaced. Left with 2 bad sensors and 3 stripped out lug nuts. Assuming they tried to install with an impact. Wont be returning.

Quotes me one price over the phone, then overcharged by $95 when I got there.

Always take at least an hour to get a balance & rotation. Today, no other customers in front of me and they still to 55 mins. Very slow. Now I know why no one else was here.

Had the pleasure of meeting one of your employees this Saturday I had a Small lawn tractor tire that seemingly no one would install a tube in for me. I entered your Schererville location and met Jose and explained my problem. He took my tire and in minutes installed my tube and tire and when all said and done refused to take a payment....this place rocks. I ‘ll Definitely return for tires on my car .

Watched them scrape and chip my rim while attempting to dismount tire. Then they couldnt road force balance the wheel and gave me no explanation as to why. Told me regular balance is just as good. Yea right... Will not be going back.

This my my 2nd car I have gotten a new set of tires on from Tire Barn. Both times it was minimal wait time. They advised the proper tires to purchase.

Umm from the time my vehicle went in to the time I got my keys back it took an hour and a half for one tire. Which okay they have a guy Im guessing with one good hand and a pirate hook on the other but the fact the waiting room is modeled after an alcoholic anonymous meeting made it painful although not as painful as hearing the managers nails fly all over the place while he clipped them. If my tire was to go flat 2 ft away from this place Id push it fred flintstone style 5 miles to discount tire and still have my car on the road quicker.

Guys installed my new 20 rims and tires and did a great job. But what really impressed me about this service was when one of the mechanics saw me struggling to quickly apply a set of cheap plastic caliper covers he actually walked me to the OReileys next door and we picked out some caliper paint and gloss which he helped me apply for free. Now this type of service cant be expected from these guys cause its not what they generally do but it just goes to show there are good minded folks working here who will take care of you and even go that extra mile if they have the time and resources. At least this was my experience.

We will NEVER use this businesses service. At 6:00 this morning we went to Menards for Black Friday sales and their parking lot was full. Tire Barn was not open and they had no signage at their entrance about parking, their business was not opening til 8:00 and we joined the many others already parking there. When we came out of Menards at 6:20, the parking lot entrances were blocked with tow trucks. We had to pay $175 to get out or pay $250 when they towed our vehicle. They said there were signs which were at the front of their building which we would never had seen in the dark and never went to the front as we walked over to Menards. If they dont want people to park there, put signs at the entrance or chain it off for Black Friday. It was all a set up to make some good money as there were about 40 cars in the lot. We saw a tow truck pulling along side of the building at 5:55 but didnt think anything of it as its Tire Barn and thought they must be getting close to opening. No, they were waiting until the lot was full and block it off. This is a totally dishonest business practice. I wouldnt trust them with doing business with them. I will be sure to let many people know through social media the same!

Dont ever come here to get your alignment done, they didnt properly align my vehicles tie rods. Now they have worn out prematurely, which happens to be a $830 repair . Now I understand why the service guy was acting weird when cashing me out. Really pissed off, they should have to pay for this

I usually never write reviews, however this location definitely deserves a review. I had went to the location in Merrillville, IN and had beyond horrible service, after call corporate they would still not fix issues they caused. I went to the Schererville location to have them fix the problem another location caused and they did so without hesitation. Extremely professional and friendly location and even though I had a horrible experience at the other location, this store made it up. Extreme props to the manager Jose, thank you so much for doing your job right.

I am very, very disappointed and Im very pissed off.I left a car yesterday (Jan 22, 2017; Sunday) because of the wheel that has been hit and I asked for the wheel to be straightened and balanced.When I came back after 3 hours I was told by the gentleman at the counter that the wheel was balanced and bend was straightened. Unfortunately, nothing of mentioned was true.I properly paid for balancing and repairing but they did not even touch my wheel.They literally charged me for putting air into my tire and I still have bended and unbalanced wheel. I really dont care for the money that Ive been charged for therfore, I care that I had to drive on highway which put my life in danger not to mention that was a front axle tire.I have a witness who was with me all the time and who can testify that everything I said here is true statement!Very poor service cause of lazy people ... so disappointed ...

Had to have my money refunded for alignment after three visits. Was not informed over the phone but found out after first visit they only offer alignment every other Sunday... fine made an appointment. Only to show up the following Sunday to be told by Mark his only appointment was sitting in the waiting area?Had alignment done on two vehicles and on one the wheel was sideways and worse than when I first brought it in? On third Saturday not Sunday visit nobody available to do alignment which I thought was pretty important for a new tire install? Was told I was being irrational by Mark while Jose the manager sat and watched!? NTB on Broadway in Merrillville offers services 7 days a week and has better prices... also Portillos isnt far away. Usually dont do this but after my awful experience hope this helps someone save some time on their weekend and get the job done right the first time!

They would not honor an estimate from Costco. I had a estimate from Costco for $482.00 and the Manager Jose Bulerin would not honor the estimate. I was charged $538.00. Since they would not honor the estimate they also denied BEATING ANY COMPETITORS TOTAL PRICE BY 5% GUARANTEED!AS THERE ADVERTISMENT STATED.Now I will have to use my time and call the corporate office.
