I went to this facility on September 21 to purchase items for my new apartment. The sales associates was very helpful and allowed me to take my time is choosing what I wanted. In the end, I purchased a bed set which included a dresser, nightstand and a bed frame. I also purchased a mattress set and a beautiful sectional couch. I am very pleased with the items I brought. The bed set and the sectional was brought off the furniture room store, so I did get it at a discounted rate. I purchased insurance for my sectional and bed set. My items were delivered exactly one week later. I will be returning to purchase more items.

Bought 2 love seats and a recliner the beginning of the year, everyone there was super helpful and nice up until they made the sale... after owning my recliner only a month I noticed a tear in the stitching where you sit...the more and more I sat the more it tore....I called the store just for the salesman to try to blame me and said it was my 15 lb dog that did it... after talking with them they finally decided to replace the bottom half of my recliner (which is fine) this time I bought a recliner cover and we were okay up until....last night I took the cover off and behold, same exact spot, same exact tear, left them a message stating I didnt want a replacement because I didnt wanna get blamed (again) and fight with them about getting it replaced....just suggested they remove the recliner off the floor and when I pay off my furniture I guess Ill look elsewhere for a new recliner to replace my new recliner .....

I am so happy I found Furniture Depot in Schererville Indiana. I had purchased furniture from Ashley in Merrillville Indiana, without full disclosure of delivery time (I knew 3-4 month). When I could not reach anyone by phone in the store or corporate, I requested a full refund after 4 months with no communication with me. I went to Furniture Depot (thanks to my daughter in law), and was greeted by Bill upon entering the store. The rest is nothing but pure joy. I felt as if I was shopping in one of the so called HIGH END stores that offer personal service upon request. I received personal service, beautiful brand name furniture, and will never shop for my home anywhere else!!!Don’t waste your time with advertised stores offering discounts because it’s not true. I love Bill because he was transparent, patient, and worked diligently to get what I needed on time.Thanks to Michelle and the delivery team for safe and clean delivery.I could go on, but I think you get that I love Furniture Depot❤️❤️

Great customer service and awesome selection. Placed an order right after the COVID re-opening of the store and because of the circumstances it took longer than expected to receive and deliver. The manager helped us out by having the order come in separate deliveries at no extra charge- We ordered a kitchen table, sectional couch and bed frame- all great pieces and happy with overall experience! Ed is an awesome guy and great salesman!

Great furniture but hard to get due to COVID

Ed was very helpful getting us all the furniture we needed within our budget after a recent move. Communication was good- letting us know as items arrived. Delivery guys were truly a pleasure to deal with. They set up everything right where we wanted it and were very courteous.

We recently bought furniture from Furniture Depot and we had a great experience. Bill was our guy and he was so nice. He wasnt pushy or overbearing like the other furniture stores. His products spoke for themselves. I will be purchasing more products soon. Great company. Highly recommend this place.

We had been shopping for a sectional. Went to a number of stores and obtained one quote in the process. Since we were in the area, we decided to stop by the Furniture Depot in Schererville. Ed was very knowledgeable, professional, patient and had a great attitude. We ended up finding exactly what we wanted. He worked with us to customize the layout. Cant wait to get it delivered.

Our salesperson was Bill. Great person and he provided good customer service. Glad we went there . Our order was delivered a day earlier and the delivery people were great too. Thank you Furniture Depot we are so happy with our order. Will be back again.

Will be back I picked out 4 living room sets (need to make up mind) of real furniture... Nice and heavy pieces. Mr. Albert is so nice and friendly and didnt rush me to make a sale (like other sales people do).

I received good customer service for this store. I came up there three times to decide on my bedroom set and i wasn’t pressured at all. I was even shock to see the salesman even come out with the delivery to make sure everything was set up great. They work with you with prices as well.

It was nearly impossible to set up a delivery date. I paid for a new bed set and they delivered the floor model which had a damaged drawer. The supports on the bed broke three days after they set up the bed frame. Three days. They did send out the same team to repair it within a week. The repair guys accused me of damaging the bed and breaking the supports ( I weigh 180lbs, my wife weighs 120lbs and again we slept on it for three days.) I spoke to the manager Bill who stated that he does not THINK that it is a floor model because they USUALLY tell the customer if it is but proceeded to refuse to look into it, stating that even if it was a floor model they dont let customers jump on the beds so it is still pretty much new, anyway. Bill then also accused me of damaging the bed stating that I must have moved it. Bill then said, even though they did nothing wrong. He will give me a rug if it will make me happy. No, I do not want your shoddy rug, I want the NEW bedroom set that I ordered and paid for. Do not bother spending a penny of your money in this dump.

Over Priced and low inventory

What a difference $20 makes. I was going to give this place a 5 star review, not a 1 but heres the story.. I recently bought a canopy bedroom set here (well partially a set). The bed, dresser and mirror for a little more than $1000. The salesman I was working with told me that I could come back for the nightstand and hed give it to me for $100. 13 days later I came in for it, and he gave me some bs song in dance about not being able to give it to me for $100 anymore. He need $120 for it. No big deal. Didnt really want it that bad anyway, but it prompted me to look for the nightstand online while I waited for an oil change. Same bedroom set online: the bed, dresser, mirror, the nightstand, and a tall dresser for $858. Guess theres a reason this place was empty both times I went there. Buyer beware, do your research. Lesson learned. Edit: I forgot to mention, the boxed bed I got, had a damaged corner of the headboard too
