You cant go wrong with Scottsboro Antiques. Abby has done a wonderful job carrying on the family legacy. Shes an absolute expert when it comes to old and new furniture. The store is filled with treasures for everyone. Shes has been a complete delight to work with. I can not recommend her and the store enough. You wont be disappointed. Stop by the store and give it a try!

Very big warehouse full of gorgeous antiques. Mostly furniture though, but all beautiful. The owner is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. I was happy she was willing to do a 3 month layaway program with me as well.

I went to the wrong antique store but Im so glad that I did! This place is so much bigger than what it looks like from the outside! Abby is so nice and I seriously dont think that theres any type of antique furniture that she doesnt have in her store! This is the place to go if you have a particular antique furniture piece that youre looking for!

I won’t be going back. Apparently prices can change, and in my case double, once you leave this particular store. I purchased a desk for $225 and paid $100 to have it painted on Saturday 15 Sep 18. I was so excited about my finds for a good price!! However, on Sunday morning, I received a text requesting an additional $225 for the desk, which is double the price I paid, or a refund of the purchase price would be given immediately. I find this situation completely unacceptable. I never imagined a desk that I paid for would not be sitting in my home. Also, as of Wednesday 19 Sep 18, my refund has not posted to my credit card.

FfThe food was great. The service was sos os os oso s o good . The wait time for food was so short. The gift shop my kids loved. I barely had time to look in the gift shop because the food came out so quick. The place I located great. Close to gas station. It was convenient. Everything about it was great

After a visit to the Unclaimed Baggage in Scottsboro, AL, which BTW was a waste of time. we stopped down the road about a mile or so at Scottsboro Antiques, now were talking, we entered the main building and announced ourselves, then out of the back of the building came a person who greeted us with a big hello and a smile. She was the owner, Abby Gentry Benson and was in the process of sorting many years of accumulated items from her Fathers collections. It was a very warm day and inside the building was hot, a large fan was blowing air around and to be honest it wasnt all that hot inside. Abby introduced herself and we began to talk, she offered frozen popsicles and bottled water to help offset the warm temps. We talked for 20 minuets or so, what a delightful, warm and engaging person. Another example of warm southern hospitality. The fact that she offered frozen popsicles and water was something you would not get in New England. (or shoud I say without a price attached) Our intent was just to poke around and look, that didnt concern her she was very welcoming and in fact I did come upon a small pottery bowl with a thistle on the insode of the bowl and took it to Abby to ask on the price for this bowl. She immediately said you can have it. I was completely taking by this and said no no I want to give you something for it, she would have nothing to do with me offering any amount for it, she said she enjoyed our conversation and this was a gift. So if you are ever in Scottsboro, AL. make sure you stop in to say hello to Abby, you wont be dissapointed. The amount of items she has is incredible, many eclectic, one of a kinds and older pieces. Lots of furniture. Abby thanks for your hospitality and friendly conversation. You made our day......
