Dave and his staff are great people who really know their stuff when it comes to comics. Theyre just about as much as comic geeks as the clientele that they serve. Willing to help in finding even the most obscure comics, these guys are wonderful.

Im an out of town customer, and this shop has helped me out a couple times with shipping comics that I couldnt get because of COVID/stuff selling out. Theyre very responsive to inquiries via social media. They ship securely. And they really seem to care about their customers, even a guy who doesnt frequent their shop week-to-week (again, out of town). Beckie is amazing and incredibly helpful. Shes very passionate about the medium and great with customers. She also does sketches for their orders that go out with every shipment. These are awesome people, with an awesome shop, and I will definitely continue buy their comics.

Ive been a customer of Comics on the Green since I moved to the area in 2007. Hands down one of the best shops Ive visited since I started reading comics over 25 years ago. The shop is well organized, the staff knowledgeable and friendly, and everyone goes out of their way to help customers find exactly what they want (and sometimes books customers didnt even know they wanted yet!).I cant recommend this shop highly enough - over the years Ive been everything from a casual customer to someone with a heavy weekly pull list. Theyve never let me down and treat everyone like theyre the only customer in the store, even when its a crowded Wednesday.Excellent selection of back issues, graphic novels, and of course all the latest single issues. They also have a very good collectibles area, though the primary focus is comics.Whether you are a dedicated collector, casual comics fan, or looking to find something new to read, you will feel at home at Comics on the Green.

The best comic shop in Scranton Wilkes Barre area. Staff is awesome and kind. The selection of books is fantastic. Many comic shops are dark and smell weird. This place is clean and bright. Family friendly. They do tons of events and Dave has an uncanny ability to remember your name. When I moved away for 5 years they shipped my comics to me and always took care of me. They do not have public bathrooms. If your in Scranton get your comics at the green!

The owner is a very nice, friendly, and extremely helpful person. I would recommend this shop even if you have a long drive.

Simply the BEST comic shop out there. I know, people say that about their shop, but this place makes you feel like one of the family. The owner is top notch in friendliness, comics knowledge, and ability to track down an item for you. The staff is fantastic and will always go above and beyond. And they will become fast friends. Great back issue stock whoosh is hard to find these days. Always the newest books from all the publishers. Great toy and statue selection. Simply the best.

The best store in the NEPA area. They have a great selection of new and classic comics. The no hassle subscription service ensures you get the books each week that you want. Also the friendliest group of staff you can ask for. Dave and the crew have amazing knowledge of the books but never ever pressure you to get into a comic that you arent sure about. This makes it a stress free experience! Great job and will have our business for time to come!

Great place! Knowledge & super friendly staff. They always go above & beyond to help with anything you may need. Although they see many faces everyday, they make it a point to remember your name, so you always feel welcomed with each visit. Its worth the 45 minute drive every week. Holy moly! This place has a full sized Silver Surfer in their front window! Its a huge shop with an insane selection. The staff are so happy to help and they have a great online presence. Great place to go for getting help finding those collectable and indie comics.

One of the highlights of each week for me is visiting this shop. My girlfriend and I have been going there since we started dating for almost 4 years now. I always feel like I learn something new with each visit. Dave, Beckie and Matt are genuine people. You dont find that often in my book. They are a pleasure to talk to and they always manage to make me laugh one way or another. They also have great recommendations for a variety of different genres of comics for all ages. If you havent visited this shop yet, youre missing out big time.

But seriously, they have had sales going on since I moved into the neighborhood (unheard of in a modern comic shop) and I knew it was my new home. I wish they sold gaming items and my list would be all checked off!
