The staff here is so friendly and helpful! They are usually quite busy, and when I came the store was near to closing time. Despite the fact that everyone who worked there was ready to head home, the gentleman at the desk went above and beyond to help us find the right frames, went into the back to look for more of what we were looking for, and was overall very cheerful, patient and good humored! He went above and beyond, and we were grateful!
Had to wait 3 weeks for a pair of glasses!! . I called them because they didnt call me!!!!. when I did call they tell me the glasses i picked out was out of stock and then have a nerve to ask me if i want come in a pick out yet another pair!! and i asked if i have to wait another 3 weeks for them!!!. and they said they dont know most likely!!.are you kidding me very unprofessional and Unacceptable i will NEVER go back here just ridiculous im going somewhere else were there more professional and call there patients to notify them about certain Circumstances!! I need my glasses all the time and i dont have 6 weeks to wait on a pair of glasses i dont recommend anyone to go hear until there more professional and Considerate to their patients!!!
Mo and Mark were absolutely outstanding !!!!!!! Well we shall say that about all of the Crystal Vision staff ! Mark and Mo went above and beyond to make sure my hubby had the proper fit of glasses mo searched in the back and found just the proper size for me and my daily wear (vintage round thin frames) and Mark made sure my modern side was well handled (white round frames thicker ) these folks will go above and beyond for you they care and are extremely passionate about what they do and the care is noticeable ! 10/10 A+++++++ thanks guys we shall see you in a couple weeks for our new spectacles . Was in looking at glasses, employee was very loud in back room and yelled at other employees for all of the room to hear and slamming doors. Very unprofessional and feel very bad for the employees working with that.
I had an appointment scheduled and upon entering, I noticed that the building was quite packed. I saw a member of the staff wearing just a plastic face guard with no mask. Another staff member brought out a customers glasses, and had them REMOVE THEIR MASK while they tried on their glasses. I am an essential worker who works with easily hundreds of people a week and I live with someone who is considered very high risk when it comes to COVID-19, so I walked right out. I can’t in good conscience spend money at a business with such blatant regard for their customers safety, and the public’s safety.

Just went to you store at Keyser Oak Scranton Pa. to have the arms tightened on my glasses. I paid $450.00 dollars for these glasses and the clerk told me that he is not responsible if he breaks them. Not only are these the worst glasses I have ever purchased, your customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Not only will I never return, I will make sure I tell as many as I can about my negative experience.
Okay a serious review since I read all the reviews and worried. As freelance web designer the out of date website didnt impress.Worried me but Ive picked up customers with out of date website who are great..but still gives me pause. Local company doing what I thought only a national company could do I used in Michigan?The doc was great. Customer service was great. Funny coming from the Midwest we are not as familiar with customers. We dont call everyone dear and honey.At first, I thought the selection for the deals was awful. I was annoyed. When I came back a week later to pick up my glasses and looked around while I was waiting. Turned out I hadnt been paying good attention, as usual. I found far lots more choices. Still, I liked what Id picked out.What I think really earns the 5 stars, though, was the second pair didnt quite fit right when I returned a week later to pick them up. They tried a number of adjustments and then just said were not right and they had to redo them. No prompting from me, at all. Took responsibility. They were not that bad and the first pair were fine.The second pair were ready a week later but I didnt pick them up for several months. The first pair were great and I was busy.When I did, finally, stop in I was a little surprised the customer service person, apparently, had some detailed notes on the fit that didnt quite work out. I know this because I do it with my customers. When she came back with the glasses she picked up right where the conversation left off months before. Thats slick and thats classy customer service.So having the glasses a few months, I am really pleased with a local company with the out-dated website who has a great selection and who takes care of the customer when one pair didnt fit quite right. These are good people to do business with!
If I could give this place 10 stars I absolutely would! They far exceeded my expectations. They were so kind, quick, and so so helpful. It was really nice to come to a place where you feel like you can ask anyone there for help and theyll be on it like pink on a pig! I had an awesome experience and I plan to keep coming here. Ive never looked forward to an eye doctor appointment ever in my life and now I do. They are knowledgeable and provide great prices for great quality. To say the least I am impressed. I’ve been going here for many years and have no complaints at all. Always helpful. The staff is very friendly and if there’s ever a problem with my glasses or contacts, they are always happy to help me. I won’t go anywhere else
Took my daughter for an exam and glasses 2 weeks ago, picked up her glasses today. Absolutely wonderful staff and my 20yr old loves her glasses. This will be her permanent eye spot!
Never felt more ripped off then when I went here to reorder contacts. I have insurance and they don’t even go by what the Insurance says. Then when asked why it doesn’t match up they give you a run around and say it’s either use it this way or you have to pay. Never again will I use them again. Hope this helps you guys.. Thank u for your timely and condescending reply I guess it truly shows you care about customers who have been with you for 6+ years!!!
If you have an insurance you better go to another place, I dont know if the staff get some money to not use the insurance correctly. I had to call my insurance to straight them out.

My son now lives in CA and broke his glasses. Crystal Vision Center was able to pull up his records and order the exact same pair as we bought him over Christmas AND they were able to use his measurements to fit the glasses for him AND they cut the lenses right there on the spot. We were in and out within a half hour, mailing his new glasses to him. Autumn worked with us and she was the BEST!
So I had a eye exam in August the doctor (drwolter) gave me the wrong contacts completely. I went back they couldn’t believe how wrong of a prescription they gave me. They then gave me a set of contacts new ones to try that were better. I came to order a 6 month supply and asked to have a new trial set during the 2 weeks it takes for the supply to come in and they refused. My eyes are blood shot and I work on computers all day I asked what am I supposed to do? They said that’s my problem. Thanks for being so concerned about your patients. All this business is about is money. Won’t even give the patient a set of lenses to see while they wait for an order. Stay away. The owner should simply accept their wrongdoing apologize and make good on this and I would have a lot more respect for them as opposed to them lying and manipulating. A lot of negative reviews about this company online.
We have been going here for years. When we didnt have insurance and even after obtaining insurance, our satisfaction with the doctors and staff has never waivered. They are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and always took great care with our exams and addressed our concerns. I used to be a patient at another local practice and was never happy. So glad we made the switch. 16 years and counting...still happy customers.
I’ve been going here for years, probably about 15 or so since I was a teenager. They are always so kind, they take their time, no rushing customers. My husband went to a different local place around here after an accident because they were associated with the hospital he was in, and was so disappointed in their services and manners. I told him to go to crystal vision and he did. He was so happy and will only continue to come here now :-)

Best experience Ive ever had getting fitted for glasses. Everyone I dealt with was awesome. The optician I talked to, Mark, was a super cool guy with a great attitude that went out of his way to make accessories for a different pair work with the one I picked out. They did a great job with the cut and fit - the pair I had before that I got through Pearle was a piece of junk. Spent $400 on frames and high-index optics with terrible chromatic abberation in the edges that never fit right in the years I owned them. I got two pairs here for much cheaper and even the polycarbonate pair feels superior.
I consider myself a smart and skillful shopper. I have been wearing glasses for 50 years and check around, including Walmart for price and skill level of the seller. Crystal beats them in price and equally important skill level and attitude of the personnel.Walmart people are accommodating but Crystal people are at the next level. They want to sell you glasses if you want to buy at the best price. But, but, but.........there is no pressure. Did I mention quality.........the glasses are well made with latest fashion and lots of styles, big inventory, bigger than most. Take it from me, give them a try, I believe you will be more than satisfied........ I am not related to anyone at Crystal.
Went in to look at frames last Friday I was in a time crunch and did not purchase anything yet .... welcoming friendly staff only complaint are some but not all employee seem to follow mask protocol..... still will return later in future....
These guys are awesome. Great Customer Service, lots of glasses to choose from, and they went above and beyond to fix my broken glasses during a huge winter snow storm. If it wasnt for them, I wouldnt be able to see anything never mind the snow. Thanks again Crystal Vision! Same day glasses are a great feature they have as well.
I jus left this place. Adel ..Mark.. Camie and naugle .. Im not happy to say Im 32 in going blind lol however these ppl was so nice from the second I walked in .. it was a blessing . In Im glad to see the reviews match up to how I felt . A lady from the local can company told me bout this place n even she was happy about it I cant wait to see her . I love good gossip .. makes me feel good ... I love it ..please go here . They welcome u with open arms n they even helped me pick out glasses I was so lost . Lol Im not a fan of wearing glasses I was picked on as a kid n never put them back on .. lol glasses are had to keep up with yet mark . I hope I got his name right he was so nice. Absolutely loved my experience there today. The wait was not long at all. The doctor had me in and out in great time with no bs which I loved. Going to the eye doctor always seems so tedious, but she was fantastic. She then introduced me to Mark who helped me order my contacts, and pick out frames. He was phenomenal! Ive had glasses since I was 7, and I always cry at least once while trying to find frames because they always look terrible on me. All Mark had to do was look at my face, and he showed me the perfect pair within minutes. I have never had such a good experience at an eye doctor in my life. I will definitely be back, and have already recommended Crystal Vision Center to multiple people.
Organization is quick to make a sale, but customer service is severely lacking. Employee at the front desk was condescending and did not care. I will not be returning.Dear owner,Your front desk extends from the center of the room all the way to the right. It has several swivel bar stools and is just beyond your waiting area, of which there are 6 to 8 plastic black chairs and a coffee table, but no walls as it is simply part of an large room. To the left of the sign in station the front desk drops down into a smaller desk where there is usually a person (sometimes two) who call out the names of the people who have signed in when it is their turn and take payments and insurance information.
Charged me for some type of package fee just to get a discount?? They charge as if you dont have insurance when you do!! Be careful of their charges!! I have great insurance and for 2 years they charged me for glasses and the girl goes oh you have insurance. Never going ever again!! The little pin that holds the arm on my glasses broke also and they told me I would need complete replacements costing almost 200$ because my warranty was up?? I go once a year!!!! Cocky employees. It seems like its a place you walk into for back alley service. Be CAREFUL of their pricing!! Also heard there was a stabbing here caused by one of the employees.
Cant even re-order contacts at a time when the governor decides to shut everything down. They should at least have someone answering the phone so I can get my prescription to use elsewhere.
I took my son there 3 months for his new glasses, paid extra for the frames that the insurance didnt cover. they broke within 2 weeks, called them up and the girl on the phone said that I would have to buy a new pair out of pocket, when only the right arm side was bad; took my sons prescription somewhere else and got him a new pair. All this was because they said they did not guarantee his frames...today I read on this page that they claim to guarantee for 1 year...I am going to pursue this further...
I stopped in 2x to take advantage of your specials and both times I got nothing but excuses. I had my RX but not my glasses, the other time I had my glasses but not the RX. No matter what I said they gave me another reason they could not help. It is close to my RX expiring. They suggested another exam. But could not accommodate me for a few days.Left frustrated both times. I just needed an extra pair of glasses.
After nearly 2yrs., I scratched my lenses and not only did they change both, but the work was done right at no cost. Im very satisfied. Saved my day. Thank You
Workers are nice, when glasses came in, it took about 3 weeks, the prescription was totally wrong I couldnt see out of the glasses, the dr wrote down the wrong prescription, they said they would put a rush on the new lenses that was 3 weeks ago, 1 pair came in the other didnt, its going on 6/7weeks, they dont know why its taking so long, stay away from this place!!!
Dr. Melinda Wolter was flippant, arrogant, rude and short with me. She actually rolled her eyes when I asked a question. She rushed me out of the room and was not workable. Moe, Mark, Ron and the rest of the staff are great. I never had this problem/treatment with Dr. Marc Pensak.

Took in my eye glasses to be repaired because the screw was loose. I bought them less than 1 year ago. Was told they couldnt fix them and offered to replace them with a cost to me of $25.00. This is the replacement co-pay cost they told me. At the time I bought them with no insurance they told me they were guaranteed if anything should happen to them. I guess this is not so if they can not repair them. Needless to to say I am not happy. Paid over $200.00 for them and now they are garbage. I will never set foot in there again and would advise anyone to not go there also.

I called, said I was coming and they closed 15 mins before 7 so I couldnt get my glasses. The employees were right there and just drove away. I went back the next day and found out that one of the employees lied too me and said my glasses were ready over the phone. They could not be found in the store. Im very unhappy with the service.

I had a broken pair of glasses that I was upgraded to and paid a lot of extra money for with tint and non scratch that I brought back to them. They took 2 days to figure out that they had lost the glasses, refused to do anything about it because they werent insured or guaranteed! Really! Last time they get my money!
Doctor won’t release contact prescription even though exam was already payed for. I’d rather buy online than pay their ridiculous prices but doctor is holding prescription because I didn’t order through them.
Its really the only one around. Lol

They tell you the glasses take from 7 to 10 working days but after that all you get is excuses.
