I had this exam within the last year, but have been upset about my experience for awhile. This is a delayed review. This was probably the least thorough eye exam Ive ever had in my life (Ive worn glasses and contacts for 15 years) and the least competent staff. Im really not sure the front desk staff can do basic simple tasks, and thats me being kind about my experience. I could probably find a 3rd grader that could do a better job. They literally couldnt spell my name correctly or address, even though Ive spelled it out for them on the phone (before the appointment) and in person. English seemed to be both of our first (and maybe only) languages. There wasnt a language barrier. They printed out the wrong prescription to send me home with and there were staff members walking around without masks on even though it was required of customers (in the middle of the pandemic). I actually had to drive back to this place to pick up the correct prescription and had to bring up relevant issues to the Dr (who did a whole 2 minute exam, the shortest Ive ever had) to get it fixed. I paid for everything upfront too, so thats what made it even more frustrating. I ended up finding a better, and more thorough, eye dr and more competent staff. If I didnt have chronic eye problems I need to monitor, I wouldnt have been as frustrated. I also think every patient deserves at least a thorough exam.
Cant say enough about the Visionworks of Seabrook, NH. From the ease of scheduling my appointment, to the flexibility of being able to continue my appointment when I was 15 minutes late on a Saturday!The entire staff helped me select the perfect frames for me! Purchsed glasses for my granddaughter last December went into the seabrook nh store yesterday had a blonde headed lady wait on us that was very rough would not do anything with her lenses told us too bad, my glass lenses were just repaired at Tallman eye with no problem and purchased them over a year ago they extended cause of covid but Visionworks tells you too bad terrible customer service, theres plenty of other eyeglass stores around visionworks isnt the only show in town but they have message on the phone not taking call cause of covid go to website it says terrible terrible customer service

The whole front part of the store was filled with staff that didnt know what they were doing and they were rude at times. Did not feel welcome, my girlfriend couldnt even look at glasses without feeling uncomfortable. I had to go through 3 different people before someone was able to work the computer. I tried to get contacts shipped to my house, but they couldnt do that right and sent them to the store instead. Only good part of the experience was the eye doctor. I cant remember her name, but she was incredibly nice and helpful. Also the manager was helpful considering she was the only employee that could work their system.
I was in the seacoast area for the summer, and broke my eyeglass frame right down the middle.I had purchased the glasses at Visionworks in Fort Myers, Florida. I hoped the Seabrook store could help me find a frame like the one I broke and fix them. Dawna, the Seabrook retail supervisor, did better than that. She had the identical frame and fixed them on the spot, FOR NO CHARGE. I was floored. Who does that?BTW, the folks at the Fort Myers store were also friendly and competent. Visionworks has me for good.
Purchased new glasses from here a couple of times within the past year or so. They were very helpful with my new purchase and indicated they would help me with any problems with my glasses old or new. Went back recently with a broken side rail on a older pair of glasses that were purchased elsewhere. I was very quickly advised that they couldnt be fixed and that they didnt have any frames that would work with my lenses. She indicated that I would have to go back where I originally purchased them for repairs. It just seemed she blew me off because they were not originally purchased there and seemed totally disinterested in helping me in anyway. Very helpful with a new purchase, help with broken glasses not so much.
Best experience. Monia was great and I was in and out in 20 minutes. I ordered two pairs of polarized glasses, one with a brown metal frame and a dark brown tinted lens and another in a midnight blue with a green tinted lens- Both with my prescription. The price was the best part. I was thrilled to only have to pay the 99$ for 2 great looking prescription glasses and another 50$ for the polarization. Not bad for 165.00 !
Entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful!!Last minute appointment opened up and they got me right in for an eye exam while my daughter was there getting hers.Store was clean and organized and they had a huge selection of frames to choose from.Took me forever to pick frames out and they were totally helpful and patient with me...lolThank you all so much for your help!
Visionworks helped me on my vacation. I forgot to pack my daily lenses in Georgia and got up to New Hampshire without them. Visionworks in Seacrest was able to provide me with lenses while here on vacation. They sell more than glasses they sell contacts lenses and have great deals on them as well. Thanks Visionworks for helping me with my contact lenses!
Jessie and Garrett were so helpful. They took the time to explain options on a busy Saturday to assure my satisfaction. Ive had a reoccurring issue with one brand of glasses. This team clearly knew how to fix the long standing problem. Happy customer here! Visonworks has with a fair generous/replace guarantee policy.
I cannot say enough about the customer service here. Doctor was friendly, down to earth and made the experience quick and enjoyable. Opticians choose the best frame styles, and the people at the front desk were very helpful with insurances and very kind.
I went in not feeling good about needing glasses, the atmosphere, and especially the staff, made the entire experience fast and easy. I left feeling better, and would highly recommend this particular vision store to everyone. I will return for my future vision needs! Thanks for everything, you guys are great!
Today was my first vision appointment with Visionworks. The staff I worked with, Sarah, Garret, and Jessie, made my experience simple.Update: Unfortunately, my insurance was filed incorrectly. Because of this, I have to jump through hoops and figure out how to file a claim to my medical insurance on my own. I’m a little disappointed that Visionworks wasn’t able to do more after spending 500$.I still had a great experience in the store and when I went back two weeks after my original appointment Jessie remembered who I was and our complete conversation.
Myself and two family members have gotten a total of 4 pairs of glasses at this VisionWorks. My husband and son have also gotten eye exams. All services and products have been excellent and the staff the exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would recommend this business to anyone who needs glasses or an eye exam. Better prices, service and selection than my usual optometrist office.
The folks here are awesome. They are so customer focused. I will come here all the time.
I had been traveling in Europe and their sale for 2 pr of progressive eyeglasses ended on Sunday. I called to check the hours and discovered they were closed on Sunday! Not only did they honor the sale until Wednesday, but were so friendly and helpful in ordering the frames I wanted! Thank you Sarah and Jessie!

We were greeted when we entered the store, had all our questions answered, felt no pressure to purchase any additional options with the glasses, and they had the glasses ready the next day when we were fortunate that they had the lenses available in the store. I would recommend this store and its staff to anyone.

Amazing and fast service, I was able to come back within an hour for a pair of glasses after my exam after having my only pair smashed and script expired. I cant see past a foot in front of me without glasses so this was a tearful relief not having to wait a whole week for all 3 pairs to come in. (My gram bought me backups cuz Im accident prone lol)
Convenient online scheduling, Saturday hours which are great for people who work M-F. However the staff lost both of our paperwork between the front desk and the optician, put my eye exam under my husband’s name, and to top it off the optician herself, Patricia Hazell, was rude, pushy, and patronizing.The most frustrating part of the experience was the HIPAA violation that occurred when another patient asked how much longer until they went back for their exam. The woman at the front desk said, “Well, when she’s done with *my husband’s full name* you’ll go in. As someone who works in health care I was appalled. We asked for our prescriptions printed and left. We will not return.
