I bought a Groupon as a gift for my husband and I’m so glad I did! The owner is extremely knowledgeable and explains the process for distilling quickly but informatively. The tour ended with a sample of each liqour. I’m not much for distilled spirits but the white rum was incredibly smooth and something I could actually drink. My husband enjoyed the bourbon so much he bought a bottle for home! Would highly recommend for date night or group activity!

Kevin and the Smoky Quartz Distillery team run a tight ship in Seabrook. Their premium products are sure to please, and the environment is incredibly unique! But dont take my word for it, support a local veteran owned and operated business and check out the distillery in person!

Ive never been so richly treated and educated with so much in such a little time! The owner is a pleasure to talk to, and he is fond of making sure you know how the bourbon is made, too. The place is small outside, but inside it takes an enormous dimension and incorporates an industrial-grade structure to produce large scale bottles of that precious drink. They manufacture it almost artesanally with the care and science devoted to achieve the utmost quality of their product. The process is ingenious, but it is based on centuries of dedicated research and successes that can be emulated only with the most passionate managing of the formula. And the products have been winners of international prizes in their categories.

I am a huge fan of this local business, despite the fact that I mostly drink wine and beer. The owners make quality products and are personable and appreciative of customers. I am happy to purchase special gifts here. Glassware is unique and nice quality. Other locally made products are also available for sale. Go take a tour and do some tasting!

Kevin was so sweet and such a pleasure to talk to! His journey and story are one of the best parts of his business. His spirits are delicious and aren’t harsh like most other mass produced spirits. We walked away with a bottle of his whiskey because we liked that the best. I highly recommend visiting this craft distillery because it sets a standard for anyone else in the northeast.

We loved visiting Smoky Quartz Distillery! Its always great to support local businesses, especially those that are veteran-owned! I went in knowing nothing about spirits or distilling, but learned so much during the informative tour. The owner was knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, and passionate about his dream and his craft. We left with some V5 burbon, maple syrup (my favorite!), some local hot sauce, and a cute T-Shirt. We will be back! I wish every success to this company.

Stoped by this place just to pick up a bottle for the weekend. Had no clue what I was walking into when I just googled closest liquor store near me. Very family friendly atmosphere and as a combat Veteran myself I love seeing the success of other Veterans. Not too boot, the bourbon is top shelf! I hope to see these bottles in Cali one day.

Smokey Quartz puts out a top shelf product. Just standing in the building you can see that Kevin the owner takes pride in his work. V5 is my new favorite and I bought several bottles for gifts. Price is very reasonable and much less than what you would pay for a mass produced bourbon of equal quality. Be sure to try the Granite Shine with some warm cider on a cold winter night! Great place! Frank and Kevin are Father and Son ( respectively) they are a proud Military Veteran family, Founders, Owners, and on site tour guides that are rightfully very proud of their business. These neighborhood entrepreneurs have won International Awards for their products, (against the big guys).Little SQD, local guys proudly representing our neighborhood and Can Do Attitude.

We showed up and got an quick tour of the facility, which was really cool. Super friendly experience, with delicious samples. Worth the two hour trip to the seacoast.

Great stop! The vodka, rum and bourbon were outstanding! Of course had to bottle a bottle of the aged rum.

Walked in just to see what products were available, was greeted by the owner who is kind and friendly. We ended up getting an informal tour and amazing tasting! Will surely be back, their products are better than the “name brands” that the NHLC banks on selling. Support local! Support our Vets!

I loved visiting the distillery. This is a family run operation that in only a couple years is making award winning spirits. The owners dad told us about everything and gave us a tour of the operation. If I could afford it, I would have bought a couple cases. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

I went on a tour a handful of months ago and really enjoyed talking with everyone there. An awesome family run business where Kevin the owner was a great guy to talk with. When I run out of v5 I will definitely be back for more!

Stopped into Smokey Quartz Distillery on my lunch break on a Friday. Id driven by multiple times always curious. I wasnt surprised to find a passionate and knowledgeable owner, who was more than happy to chat about the entire distilling process. Great spirits, too! I liked the bourbon most, and the rum was incredible (Im not a rum drinker). Its great to find a locally owned business making a great craft product. The owner mentioned they are looking forward to hosting events summer evenings and I welcome the opportunity to head back.
