Very very very terrible customer service! Went to this establishment around 11:30 am the man at the register did not greet, speak or say anything just watched as we walked in. Acted as if he did not want to help when asking questions about appliances, very nasty! Then when we were waiting to check out he checked out another customer before us even though we had BEEN waiting! Would not recommend spending money here if you value friendliness and good customer service!
I had never heard of a Sears store being privately owned. I was completely shocked today when I went in this store to pick up something that I had ordered on line and had delivered to this particular store. This simple looking little hometown store was very impressive inside!! The owner was extremely friendly, and very knowledgeable about everything in his store. There were washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, beds, lawn mowers, vacuum cleaners, garden tools, other power tools, and even kayaks! An excellent selection of everything. It seems like this store took all of the best products out of a regular Sears outdoor / garden department and appliances department and put it in one store. The employees that worked there were very friendly and honest about the products. They seemed like all around good hometown people. I would buy my appliances from this store anytime over the other two big box stores because of their excellent customer service.

We bought a Weedwacker at the Sears Home Store when they were located in Milford, DE, a year and a half ago. Towards the end of the season, the gasoline Wacker became problematic, as the string feeder continued to malfunction time and time again in areas we were trying to remove weeds. Eventually it just fell apart altogether.We recently found their new location in Seaford, DE, at which time we returned the old, broken machine, with its original receipt and paperwork for a full exchange for a new one.The (young lady) formally a salesperson at the Milford location recognized my husband and confirmed the original purchase.We were pleased with the overall outcome and will definitely remain loyal customers as well as recommend others to this Mom and Pop business, for their proper business practices.El HicksSussex county, DE

Sears Hometown Store - Seaford Delaware location is phenomenal! Great prices and excellent customer service (Ray). We found a Kenmore dryer for cheap and works great! They made our shopping experience quick, easy and affordable. We definitely recommend everyone to shop here. :-)
Small, limited supply, not a real turn on.
Needed to replace a broken refrigerator and maybe replace some other dated appliances. Hadn’t shopped for appliances for many years and had no idea what to get. I went to Sears Hometown in Seaford De. The owner Ray was very helpful he helping me decide what was best for me. I’ll will always go back for all my appliance needs. They also have tools and garden tractors! Great store!
Im looking for a dryer and store had plenty to choose from. The only negative was that the store was very busy and only one employee in store the Saturday afternoon I was there. Good for store (busy) but frustrating for customers looking at high dollar appliances which require lots of information. Store should have two employees on floor on a Saturday afternoon. Sales lady was very competent....store just needs to clone another one just like her.
Excellent customer service and great prices.Price we $30 cheaper than Sears online and $80 cheaper than the bigger Sears store at the mall on the exact same item!! Wow....we will be back.
I bought a GE washer and dryer 1yr 11mos. Later the washer requires an $800.00 repair. With a 1yr mfr. WARRANTY no one from Sears or GE WILL DO ANYTHING. DONT BUY GE PRODUCT OR ANYTHING ELSE FROM SEARS THEY ARE JUST A RIPOFF!!!

Seriously, my experience with this store was awful. I purchased a Maytag refrigerator in Jan. 2017 . The appliance quit working 8 weeks later. The store refused to replace it because it was after 30 days of purchase. Sears in general has been horrible to work with for service and to this date July 2017 I still do not have a refrigerator that works. So much for the $300. additional dollars spent for the service agreement. It has been a NIGHTMARE...be warned buying anything from this company!
