I love the daytime classes the best! I took the holiday appetizers class in December and the Brunch and Mimosa class in February. I just took a long lunch on Fridays. Perfect way to end a tough week or start the weekend! Chef Elizabeth is the best!!! I cant wait to try the recipes at home!
I had a nice experience at PREP kitchen today. Met both the owners and some of the employees. The very helpful and friendly team were ready to show me around and made me feel comfortable. I love the way the interior is decorated and excited to take some classes here.
We had such a fun time at PREP! I had no idea this little gem was right around the corner. We took a Cinco De Mayo cooking class and had an absolute blast! The food was delicious and plentiful. They even have wine and beer! We went home with full bellies and recipes and memories to last! We made new friends too. If you’re looking for something fun to do instead of going to the movies or out to dinner definitely give this a try! I think this would make a super cool and unique gift for people too, thinking engagement, newlyweds, anniversary for mom and dad, hosting a bridal shower, work event, or any occasion really!
Cannot say enough good things about thos cooking school. We took our second class with Rham last night. It was so much fun and despite COVID19 precautions I feel like we learned a ton and am ready to try making dim sum at home. We will be back many more times!
The class was great! However, after we were all packing up the leftovers of what we cooked to take home... the helper said we werent allowed to take it home. (Im sorry but for $90/class you bet Im taking the left overs home). They gave me 2 small to-go cups with no lids to take the pasta home in... then as I was filling them up they started to take away the pasta (that I made). I let them know, Oh Im not done. He responds with You are now. If that wasnt enough I over heard them say they were planning on eating it after everyone left, which explains why they were rude about not giving left overs. I think if you are going to charge people top dollar to cook food you need to treat them like guests not thefts. Dont waste your money or your time.
Chef Rahm is the best! His class is awesome! Always have a great time and everything we make is always delicious. Ive learned a lot from him!
A wine pairing class where 17 people had to share one bottle of each wine?A maximum of 12 per class but 17 in attendance and they refuse to give me a refund for a late cancellation because they could have filled the class? They clearly over-filled the class. Barely enough food for everyone and that is after I paid full price for an extra person who was not in attendance. The chefs are great, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Rude at best. Enjoyed my first class. Satisfied with my second but dont think I will be back again.
Friendly staff, great culinary/kitchen tools and interesting cooking class options.
Ive taken several cooking classes there, the staff is friendly, The learn to cook class with Chef Elizabeth complete changed my life, I learned a lot and am not afraid to try something new.
Fun little kitchen store with good classes.
This is a great kitchen store with special touches for the consumer. Plus factors:Sells Antica Oils and Balsamic Vinagers in a variety of flavors. The staff has always been helpful and great with suggestions of how to use different flavors and oils. Also you can recycle your bottles for other flavors which you will want to do this. Free bottle after purchase of ten? Also as a member, which happens when you make a purchase and give your information, future purchases are 10% off. Great deal, great oils and vinagers! There are a few things off with this store.Purchase of kitchen items must be purchased separately, irritatating and very inconvenient for the consumer. Return policy not good! All check and credit card purchases only good for --In Store Credit-- Cash purchases, refunded. Will only refund unopened, unused items????!!! This is not a consumer friendly kitchen store. This is a big deal to me and I am a big consumer, so I will not shop here again for Kitchen items, period! One more bit, I purchased a stove top smoker at this store. Price was competitive, good item, but display in store shows the item with four containers of wood chips that come with this smoker. Arrived home excited to use my new kitchen item and discovered to my disappointment, only two in box. Looked item up on internet and learned that several stores, Walmart, Target...carry same item with two for ten dollars less with free shipping. Bed Bath and Beyond sells this at the same cost, but has the four containers with this. So I called the store. The sales person explained why and understandable to a degree. Problem I have is their display in store shows it with four containers, not two. Spoke with the owner who also shared basic information and did not get why a consumer would question this? Hmmm, maybe thats why online stores do so well. My bottom line with this store is it is not about the consumer, it is all about the profit. Will maybe shop for oil here again but probably not based on lack of interest in helping consumer have an overall good experience. Shopping in one store and having to make two separate purchases, turn off! Misrepresenting a product and not standing by it for consumers sake; turn off. Return policy, not good at all!
Excellent customer service with informative staff members. I leave with additional tips that I can use in the kitchen.
