The name of the company actually changed to BagelBop. When I went, there was only one woman working, so the line took awhile, but the breakfast sandwich was very good - better than I expected a bagel from Seattle to be. Good amount of seasoning and the sandwich was fresh/hot, and you can see it being made.
Since I tried these, I think of bagels differently. Both my boyfriend and I love these, he got a butter and honey bagel and I ordered hummus on mine. So simple yet so delicious, just one bite and we were shocked of the amazing taste. The man who took care of us was really nice and polite. This was on November 2020.
To be honest I haven’t had a bagel ever in my life, though it’s available aplenty back home in Bangalore, India.Being a big fan of bread, a little knowledge on baking one, I know what to expect in a bagel, so when bumped into Seattle Bagel Bakery after a tiring tour around Pike Place Market, I jumped in joy. Being a vegetarian that day, I decided to have an everything Bagel with cream cheese.Such a simple choice, but such a delicious choice. I was enjoying myself with those super baked bagels, the generous smothering of cream cheese was making me grin even wider. Didn’t expect my first bagel experience to be this good. The crunchy sesame & poppy seeds, the garlic & onion flavour bursts, simply extravagant.I was very close to ordering another one, even though I was totally stuffed with the first one.Worth the visit, great value, amazing quality, a tasty breakfast treat am going to miss when I travel away from Seattle.
I was here Monday, I have thought about that bagel with lox for 3 days. Planning to go back in the morning.
What a gem in the world of bagels!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND you try.We have known AJ Gambari, the CEO/Owner of SBB for many years. I always suspected he would be an outstanding entrepreneur/business man. To many of us, the SBB proves it. SBB was languishing and AJ has revived it and improved. The bagels are tasty and fresh. He is cooking up some new innovations that will further differentiate him from the competition. Everything is great.... bagel dog is my fav. No cheap dog in there either. Exceptional spreads and sauces, too. Congrats to AJ and his team. Top of the Hill in Renton carries these gems. Check the website for other retail locations.
New name. Maybe new ownership. Line forms quick so get in early.
Best bagels Ive had in Seattle, possibly best bagel Ive had ever. Its my morning ritual to bus down to Pikes, pick up one of these delicious bagels toasted with cream cheese and eat it overlooking the water behind the art market in Pikes. It really makes your day start out wonderfully! You can also buy their bagels in some local grocery stores but you really cant beat the fresh ones at Pikes. Ive not tried any of their other items or flavors, so I can only speak on the plain bagels and normal cream cheese, but they definitely dont skimp on the cream cheese! The workers are usually super friendly as well! Cant recommend them enough.
Always a good place for fresh bagels
This place blows. Went there this morning to get our bagel sandwich’s. We were refused the sandwich we ordered from them before. The person had an attitude and insisted we did not order that sandwich before. Funny we had ordered it from her. She turned out to be the manager. The manager with attitude. Never again. See you later bagel place.
Lox and Bagel. Nuf said.
As a native New Yorker, Im very picky about my bagels. I think most bagels outside the East coast are basically bread with a hole in the middle. This spot surprised me though, it was not quite a New York bagel, but was fantastic in a way of its own. Plus, friendly and quick staff made it all that much better
Had lox with capers and onion. It was perfect. Salmon was fresh and perfectly cut.
Great bagels, right in the middle of the Pikes Place market. Bagels were excellent, and they dont skimp on the cream cheese.
Heard about this place online and the salmon lox bagel was delicious. It was a very good portion and right in the market, so perfect for starting your day.
These are nothing compared to the east coast bagels I’m used to. The bagels are small and not fluffy.Sandwich options are limited- only breakfast. And they’re very pricey. The women who works there is unfriendly ad looks like she hates life. I won’t be back. The plus side is their Asiago bagel is truly tasty.
Our company used to do a bagel Friday with bagels from Einstein brothers. They switched to Seattle Bagel Bakery instead, going from fresh soft tasty bagels to chewy and not very flavorful bagels has me pondering why I should come into work on Fridays anymore.
Fresh lox Bagel early in the morning. Will do you right :o)
Best bagels Ive ever had. Very friendly service.
Tasty, fresh bagel. I got poppy seed with cream cheese. So yum and really hit the spot.
Great bagels located in the Pike Place market. Very friendly staff too!
Delicious! Went here both mornings of my stay in Seattle.
Awesome service! Awesome bagels! Bagel Lox is top notch.
There’s an older lady with blonde hair and glasses that was unprofessional, she became extremely rude when I asked some questions about the area as I was waiting for my order. The employee also gave me the wrong order and started yelling when I asked for it to be corrected. Honestly with an employee like that, I think they should train on customer service
Really good hot bagels and pretzel dogs dipped in cream cheese.
This is actually the best lox bagel I have ever had
As a New Yorker, these bagels come closest to tasting like home. DELICIOUS!
One of the best Bagel and Lox in town.
Friendly, great options, and open early!
Bagel, cream cheese, friendly service. Theres not much more to ask for.
Best bagels in town!
