Although I have been diving for years I am just getting into photography. I had contacted a couple of other companies you are commonly found online. I didnt feel like they listened, nor did they take time to really talk to me and ask me questions. It just didnt feel right. Then I found Gina and Jack at Optical Ocean Sales. They spent time with me, answered my questions, were patient with me after I changed my mind at least twice, and worked with me to get a perfect fit for my desires. I could not be happier!! Highly recommended if you like high touch, no pressure and thoughtful, considerate people. Very, very happy!

Do not recommend, advertise products on special that they do not have. Email you back with a bait and switch type response. This has been the first and last time I will attempt to do business with this establishment. I recommend either Bluewater Photography or Backscatter. Both honorable businesses who do not play games. I would have put zero stars but apparenttly you have to put at least one to post!

Ive bought some photography equipment and accessories from this store and I can say only good things. Guys here are very knowledgeable, willing to help. No sugarcoating just to sell you another thing. They carry decent stock as well. And if you need an arm, a float, a clamp, a synch cord, a tray - thats definitely should be your first destination. They have tons of them. Good store, I like it.

Great customer service! Im am trying a new configuration connecting a video light to a camera tray. I need a small part to connect the two and cant seem to find what I need. Over the phone, the gentleman assisting me was going through various parts to see what might work. He made comments about what would be the most cost effective options. He also suggested that if I wanted to bring the light and tray into the shop, he would be happy to help me configure my set-up. Im really happy I found Optical Ocean Sales!

I get all my underwater and even some above water camera gear here. Jack is very knowledgeable and helps you out anyway he can. The amount of free information and tips on the website is over the top. Really impressed with these guys and have been using them for years. Thanks for all your help Jack.

I live on Bonaire and I had ordered a package to be delivered to family of friends who would bring it to the island. So far so good. But unfortunately the Corona crisis broke out and they ended up stranded and never made it to the island. My package was stranded too, with no way to reach me. I requested whether it could be sent back with a refund, since the only reason I ordered it was because it could be hand carried by my friends family. I got a prompt answer that it had been too long after my purchase and I could only get an instore credit (that was Optical Ocean Sales being flexible!). When I wrote back explaining my predicament in detail and requesting reconsideration I was completely ignored. Bonaire is closed off for now, my friends flew back to the US and they, nor their family will be travelling here anymore. I resent my request twice and twice I never received an answer. I am extremely disappointed and I will never order anything from Optical Ocean Sales again!

Ive ordered two camera systems and numerous accessories from them. The store is just fantastic and the staff is very knowledgeable. I have called time and time again and always with questions about purchases or asking for advice on various products and always been answered with polite, thoughtful, and helpful responses. Cannot recommend them enough!
