I live near the Market and one good thing about the pandemic and working from home is that I visit almost everyday for groceries, lunch, and sometimes dinner. This is my go-to place for cheese. The lady behind the counter knows her stuff and gives great suggestions. This place has any kind of cheese you want or might not yet know you want. Plus crackers and other cheese accessories. I highly recommend this place.

Went here looking to buy cheeses I can’t get where I live now. The lady working asked if she could get anything, I didn’t hear her so I said “Pardon?” She rolled her eyes started to repeat herself but it trailed off before she just turned away. We turned around and left and went to DeLaurenti Food & Wine just across the street in the market and they were amazing and had a good selection. I suggest you look there as well.

So helpful in picking out the best cheeses! Love that they also have Cougar Gold Cheese! ...And the best soft cheeses that Costco used to carry. No snotty attitudes-just fab help and cheese!!

This is the ONLY place Ive been able to find a particular cheese that my husband and I love.If it wasnt for that simple fact, I would never shop here again.The woman that works there much of the time is one of the most condescending and rude individuals Ive ever encountered.She made me so angry on my last visit with her attitude when I asked about a different cheese, that I almost left without purchasing anything.

My favorite sandwich joint in the neighborhood. The Happy Thanksgiving is my go-to what amI having for lunch? or what am I having for dinner? Plus, the cheeses are fantastic! They have an excellent selection and knowledgeable staff that can point you toward whatever kind youre looking for. Call ahead on sandwich orders during the busy lunch hour, and dont forget to leave a tip at the sandwich counter, even though you pay at the front reg (Ive seen so many people do this--not cool!).

Asked for a certain cheese and the lady manning the counter was very dismissive. She said they stopped making that particular cheese anymore (which isnt true). I asked if she could recommend something similar she just brushed me off. Ill take my money elsewhere.

I was looking for a very specific cheese cougar gold and they were the only ones that had it in the city of Seattle it was late in the season and I am grateful that they had it looking at the other cheeses that they had I am definitely being back at this place over and over again

Good assortment of traditional and specialty cheeses. Opted for the fresh cow mozzarella. Service was fine.

The lady manning the station was argumentative and strait lied to my face about a product i had photo evidence of purchasing there.If she would have simply said we dont carry that product anymore, I would have likely purchased something else.Long story short avoid this booth there are newer ones with same or better selection with far better attitudes towards life

If youre looking for a new favorite cheese then youll find it here.This place is very very busy. If the line isnt out the door then youre lucky.Watching the employees create cheese next door is amazing. Get a small piece of cheese and a drink and relax. It gets really loud here too, so bring your headphones and tune it out.

Im a local and sure, the cheese is great but the service is atrocious. Id rather go elsewhere thats completely out of my way than give them my money. Ive been scoffed at for asking to sample a cheese, mocked for asking a question about a cheese I wasnt familiar with, and downright ignored (Im talking full on back-to-me-waving-me-off ignored!). Im not sure what point another reviewer was trying to make about young people posting negative reviews about this place - but I make money and eat cheese just like you do my friend and I choose not to support businesses with extremely rude employees. Expecting just a shred of customer service does not equal entitlement :)

Expected range of quality cheeses and knowledgeable service. They dont do many samples so youll either need to know what you want or trust their advice. I was surprised by their range of non-cow cheese.

Good variety. Angry rude lady that works there kills the experience of visiting her shop. This is a tourist destination. Don’t like tourist ? You should’nt be there.

Im local and there are 3 places I always go to when I run to Pike Place for food: Quality Cheese, the vegetable stand on the corner in front of the pig, and Ulis Sausage. I have it down so that I can walk down from the light rail station and get out in less than 15 minutes.I like to visit Quality Cheese because I can get whatever I want (usually grated Pecorino Romano, fresh Mozzarella, local goat cheese, and smoked gouda), and sometimes stuff I wasnt expecting to pickup (I describe what I want it for and they choose for me.) Sometimes I also get marcona almonds, chocolate halava, or olives to round-out my snacky cravings. Then, I round the corner to Three Girls Bakery.I also prefer to shop with small, female-owned businesses that arent corporate and so I go here as much as I can. Not sure who the haters are on this review site, but theyre clearly young and entitled. Im old and I like to shop here. You should try it. The cheese is good, varied, and well-priced.

My only problem is that it doesnt open at 8am like this app says it does. This is more a review of this map app.
