Kindra is amazing! Shes compassionate, bright, and engaged which is far more than I can say for the ENT I saw prior to coming to this clinic. On June 17, I woke up with Idiopathic Sensorineural Hearing Loss in my right ear. My primary Healthcare provider, Urgent Care, and In-Network ENT Specialists offered their expertise and therapies, however, no one else treated me with the dignity, understanding, and patience that I oh so desperately needed - like Dr. Best did at Northwest Hearing and Tinnitus.Dr. Best took the time to truly understand what I was experiencing, and used specialized technology to fully diagnose the type of hearing loss. After this, Dr. Best talked to me - like it is or what some might call real talk about my chances for a full recovery from both ISSHL and Tinnitus. We went thru therapy options and she took time to consider my thoughts and empathetically recommended the best course of action which in this case included using the Widex Zen app to create white noise - effectively training the brain that Tinnitus is normal and ignoring it.I want to extend a big thank you to the team at Northwest Hearing and Tinnitus, and a heartfelt and genuinely grateful nod of approval to Dr. Best, because without the expertise, and focused attention, my hearing would not be where it is today.Thank you Dr. Best! I had a great experience at NWH&T getting my hearing tested and reviewed, which led to the purchase of hearing aids. What prompted this particular review was the fact that I needed some batteries and other supplies for my hearing aids but wasn’t able to come in to the office. When I called to inquire, they offered to send me what I needed and hear (couldn’t resist) I am two days later having already received the supplies at my home! They have provided me with great service in the time I’ve been a client. Thank you NWH&T

If you have tinnitus, go here as they have a machine that will test high frequency hearing that normal hearing clinics do not have. They also know what they are doing and are wonderful to work with. 2 months ago I was distraught (to the point of wanting to give up life) to suddenly get loud, nonstop ringing in my ears which took away my sleep and balance. I went to 3 gps, 1 hearing clinic (who said I had normal hearing and to just ignore the tinnitus), 1 ear,nose,throat clinic (who suggested an app that had different noise makers (didnt help)) before coming here. No one directed me to a tinnitus clinic and thats a shame because these people specialize in it and are capable of laying out what you are facing and discussing what might be done to help. There are some things to try.Tinnitus is still being learned about, but what help there is, at least for me, comes in forms of anti-depressant meds, cognitive behavioral training -- the combination helped me to regain my emotional footing and strength. The strength led me to this clinic who used the machine and found I did have a high frequency hearing deficit that quite likely caused the tinnitus.Please note there are other causes of tinnitus, but this was or might be mine. I now have hearing aids which are aimed at telling my brain it doesnt have to get upset at my hearing loss because now, thanks to the aids programming sounds, I have a bit again (wow, laymans shaky terms, they explain it better but tinnitus is a brain thing.) I worked with Erika Best who was knowledgeable, empathetic, and smart. I read the other reviews before going and everyone sounds top notch. The aids I chose are not cheap but I think there may be slightly cheaper, but not cheap, other options. Just knowing that someone understood my hearing hell was helpful. I recommend the therapy and antidepressant meds when relevant and this clinic. Things do get better.

They are all so warm and welcoming. Randy, Kate, Sabrina and Melanie, they are wonderful, they understand how I need my hearing. Kate is so helpful in figuring out the settings of my HA when I will be at work, in a social gathering or at home. I am so lucky to have them help me with my hearing. They just dont hear me but they listen too. Thank you so much :)

Outstanding service for decades. They always listen carefully and work continuously to give you the best possible hearing enhancement. I have been through several generations of hearing aids over the many years I have been at Northgate and am always so pleased with the newest and latest improvements. This place is a must for people who want the best in hearing aids and very personal service.

Friendly people, they made getting impressions and molded earplugs a simple process. The earplugs they recommended have been working great for what I wanted to use them for, too!

So, it felt sort of like my ears were a little bit plugged up. There was a ringing in my ears and if more than one person was talking I was getting pretty irritated. I really didn’t think it was hearing loss. Dr Veith was so kind and thorough. She tested my ears and looked inside and showed me the results of the tests so I could understand that I have lost only some of the higher frequency sounds. Treatment was optional...except, and this is what I didn’t expect, the ringing is my brain making the sounds my ears can no longer deliver to it. Hearing aids that fill in the upper register and play soothing sounds to calm my brain are the treatment.Nobody can tell I’m wearing them, even with a short pixie haircut.Dr Veith made me feel comfortable and was just perfect with my subtle sadness about confronting middle age. She thinks it might have been caused from sleep apnea and not getting enough oxygen while sleeping. I never would have put those two together

Its now been a year and a half since I first got new hearing aids through Northgate Hearing Services. From the very outset, even as we drove away that first day, my hearing has been immensely improved. I do not hesitate to wear these new ones as I did a previous pair Id got elsewhere. Besides that, the service that NHS staff have provided me over these eighteen months has been exceptional, professional, generous and courteous. Ive recommended them frequently to friends.

I went in for molds to be made to send into an, in ear monitor company. They were fast and polite.

It was great. I learned about how hearing works (I know it does, its the how we dont all know!) And given that Im not a spring chicken anymore, Ill go back for checkups as needed to this office!

I went on for a routine cleaning for my hearing aids and a updated exam. When I gave conflicting responses the Dr. tested one portion again. She then said lets refer you to a specialist just to be sure there is nothing medically wrong. I appreciated that as there is nothing worse than having difficulty hearing.

Appointment was on time, and my hearing specialist gave great explanations about the test procedure. She made it a very pleasant experience.
