Seems strange that weed shops like this are the only place I can find knowledgeable and helpful customer service agents. I guess it’s unique to shops like dockside but still, you don’t necessarily go in expecting a professional, courteous, and succinct transaction from your hash dealer. Yet that’s what was dispensed. Along with some live rosin for my bow.Violin players get it.I wish my pharmacist was this willing to talk about product.

My favorite weed shop, hands down! The place is bright and clean and everyone there is super friendly and always ready to help no matter what you are looking for!

Second favorite pot shop in Seattle. Great staff. Most are knowledgeable and personally. Also have medical card setup and discounts.

The store manager David is a venerable plethora of knowledge using math, science and philosophy to meet your specific cannabis goals. I performed my due diligence and spent over an hour compiling my online order of smokeless cannabis treats. David gave his honest opinions when asked, didnt rush me and didnt make me feel self-conscious which can happen sometimes at the clubs. Give your phone number EACH time you buy at the register and you earn Royalty Reward Points or something to that effect. My next visit I will receive 25% off which is something to get high about :-)

The best employees hands down. One female employee helped me most in finding the perfect strain for the perfect high and it was quality product. Thank you dockside and thank you mystery woman!

Can’t say anything about the Cannabis but I went here for some pop up Jamaican food and it was the best! I was visiting from New York and really wanted some Jamaican food and if the owner reads this just know the food was slamming!! I do indulge in some recreational cannabis and I must stop by before I go... will try to update review on that.

This is my go-to spot on my way to and from work. Hands down the best place to shop for cannabis in the Fremont/Ballard area. Easy parking. Friendly and super knowledgeable staff. I feel comfortable shopping here. Sometimes I will order online and just pop in to pick up my items. Other times I just walk in and ask what’s good.

First time I stopped in today, I drive buy and always thought it looked nice from the outside but when I got inside I was blown away. Ive never been into a pot shop where you can actually get up close and see the products, usually theyre hanging on hooks behind the employee and I cant see them. Theyve got these cool cubes with all their products and its really nice. I normally go to Lux because this place looked too pricy but theyre really not, fair prices and smart employees. Ill be back for sure and would recommend giving these guys a shot.

A good assortment of top shelf cannabis products. But the same brands a you can get for much cheaper in other stores are extremely expensive. I have had good salesmanship every time but the actual product knowledge can be lacking depending on staff. It is a nice location, and pretty store, but unnecessarily expensive.

Asked budtender for a gram each of indica and sativa that had alot of flavor. Not picky about which type of flavor..She brought up about 7 choices total.The Indica I chose had good flavor, although it was the most expensive bud that Ive bought in a while ($14g)The sativa however, is very dissapointing with hardly any flavor whatsoever.

Love this dispo, super friendly staff and great vibe. Props to their medical team for being extra helpful my last few visits. Y’all rock. Definitely gonna be one of my regulars

I love this store! I live in Ballard and stop by on my way home from work - happy hour prices are cool, but I usually place an online order for ten percent off. Their staff is also super nice and helpful. I even bring out-of-state friends here for the best possible weed store experience.

*no-fee ATM on site!* I like the mood: crystal clean facilities, excellent staff, fair pricing. It is not a large outpost but what they lack in space they make up for in their high grade offerings. Parking onsite and if spots are full there is plenty of street parking. It is a shame that Google does not automatically load this as a destination if you search for dispensaries in the area. Hopefully that will change soon.

Why is it that every time I visit this place there is a new face behind the counter? This wouldnt be so bad if everyone working there knew what customer service was like...l was referred an indica strain when I clearly stated sativa. Overall Ive never been impressed let alone walked out of there w a smile like most places ever so simply do for me elsewhere. It really isnt that hard dockside! Educate your staff and for Petes sake hire someone that looks like they actually want to be there.

No fee ATM, great location, plenty of parking (if employees are not blocking it with their doors open), wonderful selection, decent employees, and a modern clean look. Didnt handle the beginning of Covid 19 well. Would recommend going to another dockside location.

I honestly gave them 1 because I had to.I have a Chronic illness and a medical card and ID from California with an extension until my birthday in the fall. Waiting for my final divorce papers so I can get my Washington state license with my maiden name. I also have a Washington license to grow for my own use. I really like Lux, but I thought I’d check this place out. They refused service to me even though I have a valid license. They kept saying that it was invalid and it was illegal for anyone to sell to me. I haven’t had a problem anywhere else. They were rude and paranoid.

Dockside has been my local before it was local to my home (I work near the SODO location). But the Ballard location is my new local local.The setup for the shop is a little different than their other locations. They have their product displays around the walls and in cases in rather than predominately in glass cases around the point of sale systems. This is likely a space consideration (the floor area of Ballard is considerably smaller, at least the FOH part is, than their other locations), but it makes a nice change from EVERY OTHER SHOP Ive been in.Aesthetically, I love the storage stacks they use to organise their product for sales. (Though the card-catalogue style storage they use at SODO is pretty cool aesthetically too).The overall price point is pretty comparable to other shops, with the exception that one or two of my favourite items are a bit less expensive through Dockside than at other shops.Most of all, I like the staff. Everyone whom Ive interacted is knowledgeable and opinionated. They listen to whatever it is I happen to be looking for, or am in the mood for, and they are always able to recommend something that is SPOT ON.Most of all, Ive had amazing success with Marisa, who recognised me by the second time I came into the shop and is always *always* incredibly helpful and knowledgeable on the large variety of products they have. She is just as much a delight in and of herself as is the shop where she works.Im a faithful devotee to Dockside; I benefit from the loyalty program immensely (and I love that its visit-based, not purchase-based; sometimes I decide not to get anything, but I still get my points for checking in.) This is definitely my go-to place, and I am delighted its so close to my home. SPOT ON.
