What can I say about this place that hasnt already been said? Honest guys who do amazing work and are extremely welcoming. All my bike work happens here and I dont see that changing ever.I have had crash bars from Motortek for the Africa Twin and exhaust system for the H2 done here, and will keep coming back for more.
Called about getting a specific set of tires installed on my Kawasaki motorcycle wheels, and they were the only ones all over town who had the right tires, in the right size, and in the shop on hand. They even pulled them aside for me, and installed them right away when I brought in my wheels. I needed them urgently for a track day event, and they got me squared away on the spot, and the tires exceeded expectations on the rainy race track surface. Bought multiple parts from these guys over the years, and they usually have everything I need, and they are great to talk to! Highly recommend doing business here.
Excellent service and communication. Previously I had emailed Barry about an issue I was having with my Kawasaki Vulcan & he said to bring it in and they would take a look at it. They immediately assisted with issue and I was on way within an hour. Lake City Powersports is the place to go for keeping your Kawasaki in top running condition.
These guys are awesome! Recently purchased a 2018 Honda Africa Twin and it was hands down the best vehicle purchase experience I have ever had. I have been coming here for years for parts and accessories and have always had great experience there, but this experience took it to the next level. Every one that was helping me was very knowledgeable and friendly and was able to provide me with great advice. I spent many years in customer service and I cannot put in to words how professional and top notch the service they provided. I would hands down recommend these guys to anyone, and with my recent experience they just got another life time customer.Thank you again Lake City Powersports for the great experience!
Neighborhood hospitality. Friendly & great service..Check dem out.
I bought a new Honda 250 Dual Sport and a Bike Master motorcyle hitch carrier last summer. Yesterday, the hitch carrier had a catastrophic failure. Luckily, it didnt leave me and and 13 yo out in the woods or drop the bike onto the freeway.I called in and explained the situation to Frank. He said sorry, but the warranty at the shop is five days on something like that. FIVE DAYS? its less than a year old, in great condition (otherwiese), and I have the receipt and pictures. I asked to talk to the manager. After a hold, I was told he was unavailable and in a meeting. Frank then explained that the onus was on me to reach out to Bike Master and see if they would help me. Ok. I will. And I wont be returning to this shop ever again.
Super cool place. Nothing fancy but they are not trying to be. Just friendly, helpful people. Tons of bikes and gear to check out. Bought a helmet. Would definitely buy a bike here.
Good selections for My Honda motorcycle parts
Always great with honda parts for my bike. Thanks guys
Incredible staff and establishment. We came all the way from New York on a motorcycle road trip and couldn’t have been more impressed with this place. 10/10
Most helpful honest people! Would not go anywhere else with my bike!
Great customer service! The guys service department are super helpful and friendly.
My husband and I recently purchased a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 classic from this dealership, and I cannot express how great it was!! Tom was extremely accommodating and he helped us throughout the whole process, making it very easy. I was unfamiliar with the process of getting a loan and he helped us figure out what to do step by step. He even went out of his way to assist us during off hours due to our busy work schedule. I have never experienced a more kind, helpful, and accommodating salesperson before. When we buy our next bike, my husband and I will definitely be returning and I will be recommending this dealership to my friends!
My first time buying a motorcycle from Lake City Powersports was stress-free and an enjoyable experience. I worked with Cole, who is very professional, responsive, patient, amiable, and insightful. Cole bent over backwards to accommodate my schedule, and he went above and beyond when delivering my motorcycle. Ive been a repeat customer at several motorcycle dealers, including the Honda dealer on Capitol Hill, and Ridewest and later Noble Rush; however, since they are no longer there, Ive been searching for a dealership that is top-notch in hospitality, communication and responsiveness. Other local dealers lack in the customer service department, and should take a page out of Lake City Powersports customer care playbook. Ill buy more motorcycles from Cole and Lake City Powersports in the future.
Ben and the entire service department went above and beyond on a recent repair for my Kawasaki Concours. From the time I made the first call until pickup of the bike they were communicative, transparent, and made things easy. Being new to the area I had recently purchased a used bike. I was a little nervous about all the unknowns regarding the bike since it was used.. having someone ease that anxiety and helping me through the process was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Lake City for any service or repairs for your toys!
Timothy was very knowledgeable and helpful during our visit. I will absolutely bring my business to Lake City Powersports anytime. I recommend this place 100%
Communicative af!! You have no idea how much thats appreciated.Realistic ETA. And if something isnt going according to plan they call you and let you know!
6/5 stars. Great team, friendly greetings upon first walking in, sincerity was very apparent which is hard to find at dealerships. As a former service advisor, I know when Im getting the run around but these guys were up front about everything. No surprises and I got an accurate quote over the phone. The techs are skillful and took great care of our bikes. Also did quick yet quality work!
We purchased two new HindaRuckus Scooters.Cole was our sales representative and was delightful to work with. He was knowledgeable about the rides and helped us get in and out as quickly as possible. Thanks Cole.
No star option not available brought bike in for two lights, speedo cable. Upsold me a starter, still no speedo cable and light are inoperable.. Thanx Ben! Looking forward to the going out of business sale.
First time motorcycle buyer and I must say they made the process smooth and effortless. Cole is a fantastic sales team member, he took care of my buddy and I at the same time. The gents in the accessories area walked me through all I needed to know about gloves and helmets, I will be back!
Great service, great work!
The shop guys are great. They overhauled my carbs on my 1998 V4 Honda, did an installation of a new lighting system, changed the tires, changed the oil, and a few other things. No problems at all. Great job.
I worked with Cole and he was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and answered all my questions. Even with a small Ruckus purchase, he treated my daughter and I really well. Will be buying from them, again.
Responsive and professional. Thank you!!
Always a pleasure going here. Staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and not pushy what-so-ever. Looking forward to buying an electric bike once I start making some money again. :)
Deceptive Pricing. Didnt purchase a bike and will not go back.
Fantastic team here! They had the exact model ready to go and the service team ready to order the aftermarket accessories I wanted. Relaxed showroom and a top notch soda vending machine. But seriously, Tom, Tim and Frank are great! Highly recommend!
The staff is friendly, and not pushy. They wont try to sell you the most expensive thing in the room either. Truly a great dealership with quality staff in all departments. As a former industry employee I find it refreshing to walk into a dealer and have my expectations exceeded every time!
Best place to get and try on your stuff. The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable about whatever youre looking for.
I came with my 96 Suzuki, which I know theyre not fully equipped to deal with extensively. I only needed an oil change and quick look over after a recent down - staff is highly knowledgeable and they were quick with what I needed. Also I bought gloves and needed to come back the next day and change up one size, which they accommodated happily. Good people, and good selection for future purchases
DO NOT GET YOUR BIKE SERVICED HERE!!! Took the bike here to get a rivot link installed on my chain. After getting the bike back i noticed the o rings are bulging out the sides and will be gone soon enough from normal use. Called the shop to schedule getting it fixed and they said thats normal and there is nothing that can be done. That is completely unacceptable and now I have to take the bike somewhere else to have the job done right and have to spend double what i should for a simple job. Update, spoke to the manager who agreed that I could dispute the charge to have it reversed, the little weasel lied to me and they fought the dispute. This place is the absolute worst for work and customer service.
Timothy at Lake City Motor sports went the extra mile to help me out. I knew I wanted a certain bike but didnt have the time to go down there because of work schedule. Tim brought the bike to my work, signed papers which was very convenient for me. The team there made it very easy to do business which I greatly appreciate. If you need a bike call and ask for Timothy and give Lake City the opportunity to earn your business.
Shop guys are super savy gave me some great info on my rebuild
Perfect customer service! Thank you cant wait for next excuse to come get another toy!
Had a great experience with the sales and service departments. Got a new bike and already have my fist service scheduled. Thanks!!
Not thrilled with the necessary repairs to my bike, but staff was honest and trustworthy. Appreciate.
Fantastic team! Came in to buy my first motorcycle, and they took great care of me. From helping me get a good beginners bike that wont kill me, to a discount on my first set of good gear!
I was just tagging along with a friend while he was looking at scooters. They were very diligent about greeting us and learning about what we were looking for. They walked through the process quickly, giving options and prices along the way.
Just bought my 2019 Honda CB1000R! Been dreaming of a liter bike forever and Lake City made it quick and easy.
Timothy, Tom and the rest of staff are very, very experienced motorcyclists, a much, much higher distinction than bikers. They are sincere and friendly; no high pressure selling at all, and patiently helped me find exactly what I wanted.Locally owned business; great, sales, parts and service.By the way, the workmanship of the Oxford heating grips they installed looked like factory OEM.Nice that there are a few great, long-lived Honda/Kawasaki dealerships like them still around in our north Seattle neighborhood!Buy local! It is so great to be back in the saddle!
Great service, attention to detail and thorough work.
Cant recommend this place enough. Bought my first bike from here and from first contact to walking out with the keys was great. No pressure, knowledgeable staff. Definitely consider checking them out if youre in the market for a bike.
Cole, the salesman I worked with was incredibly helpful and in the future I will make Lake City Powersports a stop of mine when purchasing another machine.
I am happy to give 5 stars to Lake City Powersports. A replacement part for my vintage motorcycle was unavailable. They designed and created a suitable part to keep the problem from recurring. My bike runs like a top now.
They have parts for older motorcycles
Simple process to buy a Honda scooter. Best price in the area. Was given some inside tips on the Honda PCX150. Tom was great to work with. Highly recommend them!!
Gotta tune up the bike every year and this is the most convenient for all the right reasons
My first/only motorcycle was wrecked in late June so I went into Lake City Powersports to browse and consider my options. Their staff was really great! First, they listened to where I was coming from and took the time to explain all the options out there, but they always seemed most interested in what was right for me. Then they let me sit on any model I wanted to to find what was comfortable for me. The staff was always great at answering any questions I had. Even when it came to financing they did literally everything they could to get ME the best deal possible. I ended up buying in early August and couldnt be happier with the purchase or the service/maintenance since!I really appreciate their honesty. They will lay out the options for you and let you make your choice. Its really nice to see their passion for motorcycles and their trust that if you enjoy your bike, youll keep coming back for more!
Service department is terrible. Be smart and go somewhere else.
Got my bike there my salesman and staff were great!
Lol these dudes are the arrogant type. Not friendly service and I was basically ignored.
Can’t say enough good things about power sports
Ive had my bike in twice for service in the last year - both times Ben in service has been awesome, and they performed quality service, at or under the quoted price, and on time. Had new tires put on this last time, and they somehow managed to change them without even scratching the reflective rim tape Id put on a while back - I was very pleasantly surprised! I highly recommend the service department.
I recently bought 2019 CBR500R ABS from Lake City Powersports. It was a very pleasant experience. Cole assisted me with the purchase. I am very amazed by his proactiveness. He got me the motorcycle within 2 days although it was not available in the area for weeks. Whenever I went there after my purchase they have treated me nicely and answered all my questions. This is the first time I was buying motorcycle in USA so I had many questions, Cole answered all my questions doesnt matter how silly they were. I loved the experience a lot. If I have to buy motorcycle again or want to get any accessory I will visit them.Tom, Cole and the complete team at Lake City Powersports you truly deserve 5 stars.
Ive got to say this is one of the best motorcycle shops, I have been shopping here for almost 9years. They have knowledge way beyond some of the other shops. The guys who work there treat me like a friend or part of the lake city power sports family not just a customer. This is one shop I send all my rider buddys to for any kind of parts or service. Thanks guys your Awesome
Went in looking for parts, Nicholas was at the parts counter. He looked them up had them out for me in no time at all. Threw in a crush washer I needed as well without me even asking. Great service, decent prices.
Got a great deal on a bike and the crew was super friendly and helpful! A great experience for a first time buyer.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff that want the best for you and your bike.
Ive been happy with the repair work Ive had them do. They have mostly replaced tires for me. They have also taken a few minutes to show how to fix minor things like a brake light switch replacement for no charge so I just purchased the part separately and installed it myself.
Kevin at the parts counter unfortunately didnt have my battery in stock, but called every other local dealer to find one for me. If Lake City Powersports doesnt have what your looking for, they will find it for you. Great customer service and I will be coming back.
The folks at Lake City Powersports are more than helpful had my parts ready for me when I arrived, and help look up other parts that I would need. I would recommend this place to others. Well stocked, and friendly service
Grade: A. Service department is excellent - dependable, do solid work and helpful. Since moving from the East Coast to Seattle, I have been coming here for the last three years and wouldnt take my motorcycle anywhere else. Always helpful on maintenance tips and go the extra mile (was coming late from work and they were kind enough to stay open a little longer). People love to complain, but dont say much or give praise for a job well done. So, Lake City Powersports- thank you.
Ive made Lake City Powersports my go-to shop for almost a year now, since I started riding. I have received great service at reasonable prices every time Ive visited. Their service staff are always quick, the job is always done to my satisfaction and usually with an extra attention to details, like replacing broken clips or bolts that have fallen by the wayside.I recommend them to all my riding friends.
Salesperson was not pushy. Decent selection. Prices were higher than other local dealers.
Stay away from service department.Takes far to long for simple repairs.Calling in advance will only make you upset. Service department will place your repairs on hold, for an repair that is more profitable to their business. You will hear excuses from service management on why your bike wasnt serviced yet. Kindness will only get you so far before they take advantage of it. Ive learned over the years lake city power sports service dept will charge more money in the winter months for the same simple repairs Ive had completed in the summer ( oil change, coolant, brake fluid flush etc). I chose this business because of the convenience of travel. Its a shame, after 4 years of me being a dedicated. Customer I will be traveling a little further up the road to BMW motorcycles. BMW service prices are closely the same as Lake city power sports dealing with basic repairs( I dont have a garage or place to work on my machines).. Bottom line is save yourself the stress and headache of dealing with a motorcycle shop that will not fully cater to your needs.
They were fast had what I needed and where very helpful thanks power sports!
Im a bit late on my review nonetheless, almost 2 years ago I bought my first bike, a used 2006 triumph 1050, from a different dealership. I was happy with the bike for a few days before I dropped it a couple times. Being a first time rider, I realized I made a big mistake. I was a little disappointed in the dealerships decision to let me purchase the bike considering that Im 5 7, and weigh 120lbs. After about a year of the bike just sitting in my garage, I decided to trade it in. These guys sold my mom her motorcycle and she felt very taken care of so I thought I would go experience it for myself.I walked in wanting to trade my bike for a bike that fits me. I got nothing but exemplary customer service as soon as I walked in. It didnt matter who I spoke with, anybody and everybody was more than willing to help with whatever I needed. They took all the time they had available, they stayed late just to help me, they went above and beyond any of my expectations! I couldnt be happier.I walked out with a brand new 2016 honda CB300F with not even 1 mile on it, the remainder of my existing loan payed off, the down deposit covered by the remainder of the trade in value, and an extraordinarily happy customer. I will recommend anyone I know/can to this place and continue to give them my business.
Purchased a new helmet. Sales guy was prompt and very helpful. Selection of helmets includes all price ranges, and I found what I wanted for considerably less than I expected to pay.
Ive always had a good experience with LCP, from my custom street fightered ZX-6R, the Z125 I purchased from them at an amazing price, and now my H2SX SE. Their people are knowledgeable and friendly.
Bought a new Grom on Memorial Day weekend with Gunnars help. Great guy, super friendly, and very willing to help anyway he can. Same goes for Jim the sales manager and all the gentlemen in the parts department. Made for a great experience, especially being a new rider. Not uptight or intimidating in any way. I strongly recommend checking these guys out as Ill certainly keep coming back to them!
22 Aug 15 - Aaron called right after I emailed from about 100miles away, pulled Pete from what he was working on and prioritized my Goldwing trike to help get me back on my 11,000 mile USA 4-Corners ride. 10 hours later, after Pete did a front end rebuild, I picked out a new helmet from their wide selection & got some odds & ends, paid a very reasonable bill, ans I was safely back on track. Absolutely great service & attitudes. Highly recommend these guys for regular...or emergency services. Thanks Aaron & Pete!
My first visit to LCP was for service on my 2017 Honda Rebel 500. About 60-90 minutes for my 600mile service, so I had time to putts around. Within my first 30 minutes, I had amazing interactions with just about everyone in the place. The men at the accessories/apparel counter were awesome to chat with even though I wasnt going to purchase anything. Then I spoke with Timothy, the sweetest salesman Ive ever met, about everything under the sun. I believe the service manager was Gary, he was also a total sweetheart. Overall, one of the best small businesses Ive been to in Seattle. My bike is running like a dream and LCP has a customer for life.
I just bought a Honda pioneer 500 from Lake City Powersports and had a great experience! They did not have any in stock but got one ordered for me the same day. They also got be set up with a loan with a awesome interest rate. I will be returning back to buy more gear from them
I walked in with my wife looking to buy some boots; we were left with two choices as they didnt have much of a selection. The clerk acted like he was so much better than us, he even went in the back got an ice cream sandwich and eat it in front of of us while we were looking at boots. He seemed more concerned about his mid-afternoon snack rather than helping us, in fact he didnt even remotely describe the boots or even talk about them we were trying them on. As a matter of fact he was not helping us at all, it felt like he was just there to look down at me.This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had and I will never go back to this place.
This is the place to go for your Japanese motorcycle or scooter. Last dealer in the city for a reason; they know what theyre doing. Stop buying your parts and accessories online and instead support a local, family owned business. You will also be supporting your neighbors, your community and local economy instead of sending your money far away never to return.
We bought a 2015 Ruckus from here last june, and it was a great experience for us. Tim sold us the scooter and was very helpful with showing how everything worked before I rode it home. We went into the store last saturday to have the scooter serviced and ended up looking at our next motorcycle purchase. We looked at seven different bikes and Tim was very proficient at answering all of our questions, all the while being very patient with us. We are very pleased and comfortable with our next purchase being from Lake City Powersports. Barry, who wrote up our service order was very charming and polite. The scooter runs and performs even better now thanks to the excellent technician there.
They have a beautiful showroom and friendly and knowledgeable staff! Highly recommend this company!
Be warned, do not have your bike serviced here.
This place is full of reasonable, kind people. Expect good prices on parts and truly kind, passionate and great advice.
Bikes sell themselves, staff very friendly....so had to buy another bike... what can i say. great selection to choose from,, go see Tim the salesman.
Super nice people. Six stars (Unless they dont get me financed.. Then only one star! Jk.)
I am not the type to typically feel compelled to write a review. However, my experience at Lake City Powersports has done just that. Very weird vibes in this shop. My buddy had just dropped 6 grand on a new bike and upon return to the shop to pick up some remaining items, not even a simple mustered hello or recognition was given to him as he spoke with the original senior salesman. I have worked in shops before, and basic shop etiquette is to greet your recent purchasers and ask them how everything is going. Ask them how they like their new bike. Be a proactive service to those who just spent a ton of money at your business. Take care of your people. This guy almost seemed like we were doing him a disservice to even step inside the shop. The other employees acted in a similar manner; All very reclusive - almost like we had stirred their pot for walking in and asking questions the first time. Here is my take for future buyers shopping around for the right motorcycle shop - especially a moto/dual sport: Go to a shop where people actually ride (I-90 Motorsport, Cycle Gear, Ride Motorsports). They will be able to direct you on what works and what doesnt work when it comes to equipment, parts, and maintenance. There are a surprising amount of other shops in the area that have a much better attitude in their shop, make you feel welcomed, and will set you up proper based on real experience, rather than what a catalog says. I wont be back to Lake City Powersports. One may ask.. how can this ONE customer have such a bad experience when this place has 4.3 stars and solid ratings in the recent history? This dealership offers 10% discount on accessories to purchasers who give them a positive review on Google/Yelp. Scroll down in the review section and you will find the REAL reviews - assumingly prior to their discount and cheap pitch to customers to help improve their rating. This shop sucks - just go somewhere else. Plenty of good shops in the area with 10x better service, part/equipment selection, and generally better atmosphere.
Timothy Beal helped me decide on my first brand new bike. He took a lot of time to match my ability to the correct bike.
I bought EX650 Kawasaki Ninja from Lake city power sports.. After visiting all dealerships in the Seattle, Bellevue and near by areas, I finalized on buying it here for the price and pleasant experience. Unlike most of the dealerships where the primary focus is sales, folks here genuinely care about their customers. I can’t emphasize this enough. When my registration plate got lost in the shipment, Tom personally visited DMV, got a new plate, drove across the bridge and hand delivered it to me. How many dealerships out there would go to that extent for customers even after the deal is closed ?I highly recommend them for anything motorcycle related.
I had a most terrible service experience in all dealerships I have ever tried.I brought in my 2015 KLR650 with radiator fan not working. I told them exactly what was the problem. The total charge was $681.07!!! To replace one part, a radiator fan! They overcharge the labour and charged another hour + for finding out the problem I told them in the first place.A friend mentioned your place so I went there with pretty high expectation but boy was I disappointed!I will never use your service nor dealership ever again!Do not bring your motorcycle for service! You will regret it!Soon after I posted my review, a manager from the dealership called me. I told him exactly what the issue was, he says if the issue was brought to the manager I would have been wavered of the diagnostic fee. Then I asked, can he then refund that to me now, he says No. He further insults me as saying you wrote a bad review so why should he?!So, this left an even worse taste in my mouth.Had that manager tried to correct the situation, I would have changed my opinion and would have modified this review.I usually dont write views online but this whole experience stirred me up I had to write one.
Friendly staff. If they dont have it in stock they order it amazingly quick. Nice selection of bikes and protective gearHighly recommend if youre looking for a honda or Kawasaki bike.
One of the best Honda dealers around. oh yeah They also have some of those other bikes.
These guys do a good job. First took my bike to them 3 years ago.. they got it running solid!
Loyal CustomerTraded in Suzuki GSX-R600 + Purchase a PCX-150 + Gear for Meg & I !Tim the sales guy is polite, fun to interact with, kind & good at his job!Owned & operated by a genuine, kind, honest group that treat their customers fairly.Highly recommended!
Theres a salesman here that has no idea about giving service to customers, arrogant to say the least. On the other hand, the shop manager gives great service and always makes sure keeping you posted on status of things.
Wonderful place for all riders to find what they want and need for ride
Very helpful. Lots of bikes and a good selection of accessories.
In 2003 my chain broke, and they replaced it. Didnt tell me that the sprocket also needs to be replaced when you get a new chain, so six months later the sprocket was trashed and I needed a new one of those, too, as well as a new chain. The same time they did that, I asked them to replace a tail light, which they did not do. When I discovered that they had screwed me over I confronted them about it. First they said Why didnt you get a new sprocket at the same time you got the new chain? No one replaces a chain without the sprocket as well!. So I told them that they had done they work, and they tried to deny it, but fortunately I remembered the name of the mechanic who had done it, and eventually they just charged me for the parts to fix it, and gave me the labor for free.HOWEVER! I was not treated well, they did a shoddy job even when they did what they were supposed to be doing, and they did things to my motorcycle which are universally acknowledged as stupid.DO NOT GO HERE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!
Just purchased my second Honda Goldwing from Lake City Powersports. Timothy and Tom were extremely helpful - getting me the price I wanted to pay, ordering and installing the accessories and delivering my bike when they said they would. I will continue to use them for service and will purchase my next Goldwing from them too!.
Good motorcycle shop, friendly staff. Make sure you call in advance otherwise they cant find time to service your bike.
The guys who run the place are really nice, easy to talk to, and are willing to share knowledge whether you are there to buy or not. Thumbs up on the experience.
