As far as specialty grocers go, this one is among the best. The second you walk in, the beautiful smell hits you. Its perfect. The meats, cheeses, chocolates all have excellent selections. The oils and sauces are equally of top notch quality. There is a sandwich and pizza counter near the street entrance where some of the most underrated pizza exists. I would eat anything sold in this store and come back for seconds and thirds.

This shop is a place I like to swing by when I am in the Pikes Place Market. Got some fresh bread and fruit and figured I should get some cheese to accompany the next meal. I got the DeLaurenti Butter and La Tur cheese. I have a sweet spot for Washington State produced goods (I live here), and the butter is sooooo delicious! There are some flakes of salt hidden throughout. I think tonight all I need is bread and butter. Cheers!

This is for the caring lady behind the fresh deli counter. She offered the make a fresh cone! Not only that, she was vigilant, pleasant and kind in enforcing Covid safety protocols! There were a couple of customers who walked in without masks and the lady behind the counter who was helping us offered for masks kindly! The way she did/offered it was in a kindly manner and not even a hint/sliver of of exclusion or calling them out! This staff member is THE EPITOME OF SAINTHOOD!!! I did not catch her name [nor I asked] but we’ll definitely be back. Thank you...to her!

Great wine selection and service. This is the only place in town I know of where you can get jamón ibérico which truly is something special. If you are looking for any obscure artisan good, this place is gonna have it. The staff are very willing to help you choose and pair different products together

One of my favorite places in Seattle! Their cookies, sandwiches and pizza are all amazing. Staff was helpful with recommendations at the cheese and meat counter. Large selection of packaged Italian food.

Apparently someone will be with me shortly. Though the same employee is fine helping the white couple behind me in line, immediately. Will not be returning.

Our family picked out a few food items from the shelves and then went upstairs to pick out some beer/wine from the nearby Washington area. With the help of an employee we picked out 6 bottles none of which our entire family really enjoyed. One was so bad(tasted like vinegar) no one could drink it. The store nicely refunded our money for that one. I guess the best thing to do is do tastings first and don’t go by employee recommendations.

Excellent Italian food store with high quality deli counter service. Ive had several different types of prosciutto, a sopressata and imported provolone. How the meats and cheeses are sliced is very important. Many grocery store deli counters dont understand that. Here they do: their slicing and wrapping is like a work of art. Reminds me of the Italian import store that my grandfather (emigrated as an adult) would take us to back in New England.

We stopped in to browse and enjoyed the variety of items available. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the deli counter person was very knowledgeable about the various meats and cheeses. Would definitely come back to the place if we were looking for specialty meats and cheeses!

The secret excellent wine shop! This is where locals buy superb wines. Check out these wines from Maturan - a well known boutique winemaker in Chile. Great range of chocolate too ( my favorite) and sardines. This is the place to buy Italian favorites

WOW I just got the veggie sandwich and that was the best sandwich I’ve had in weeks!!! I don’t recall the name, but it was with roasted eggplant, an olive tapenade, creamy cheese, shallots and parsley on a delicious warm focaccia-style bread. The parsley really shone, and the cheese+bread an incredible texture. The second I bit into it I knew I wanted to turn around and buy another.

One of the greatest Italian groceries in America. Spectacular selection of canned goods, olive oil, chocolates, wine. Amazing, knowledgeable cheese counter. Deli items. My favorite place to put together a picnic. If you are coming to Pike Place dont miss it.

Had grocery delivered for the first time -* block of butter had what seems like a large finger/nail print in it (had to cut it out of the block)* cheese came sliced instead of block (not major but the site asks how you want the product)* when i called to ask about status of my order the attendant had to ask me over and over what i meant by status (pretty benign ask from a customer in my opinion)* delivered all products ordered* extremely PUNCTUAL/delivered ASAP* high quality products - each and every one* packed with lots of ice and except for the butter lots of care* packing material did take up a lot of room in the recycle bin but all but the butter were in tact so i imagine the packing material is neededoverall pretty good!!! cant wait to bake!!

The best wine shop in the city! If youre looking for affordable and lots of good selection of drinks and alcohol, this is the best shop! I was here last week, I had so much time in their cozy atmosphere. They also have snacks and menu as well, such as pizzas, noodles, and sliders. It was such a wonderful time we had here!

I love going to your shop to drink wine! The choices are unbelievable and the owners are awesome. Your staff was also very responsive every time I asked questions. I love this place so much! They carry every bottle you could want, and the staves are so nice. I totally recommend this spot for wine purchases!

Great place to explore European foods, especially Italian and lots of local stuff, pickles, jams and other delicacies from the Puget Sound-San Juan Islands, Vashon island. A bit pricey but well worth a visit if you are having a party.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Pike Place Market. There can be a bit of a line but I noticed they might now have online ordering. I love getting a salad or sandwich to eat in and I like the tables upstairs in their wine area. Even when the market is bustling, this feels like such a peaceful and tucked away corner. Make sure you save time to shop in the store-they have beautiful food items from local vendors and from all around the world.

Cute deli/gourmet store just outside of the main gate of Pikes Place. So many people just outside and yet this place is cozy and has yummy food and wine by the glass. Nice selection of wine upstairs you can open and enjoy while you gnosh.

I understand that some people are terrified of the ‘Rona but that doesn’t excuse them for being rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately for DeLaurenti Food & Wine they have one male employee who made such a bad impression on this customer that this is the result. If someone adjusting their state-mandated mask due to their glasses fogging up sends their employee into a psychotic frenzy then perhaps that employee should consider a different line of work. And DeLaurenti Food & Wine should provide more training to their employees. They’re certainly not being inclusive and sensitive to everyone.

The required option to give a tip while checking out is very uncomfortable. I would shop here more often if that wasn’t in my face. I worked in a grocery and the idea I would ever receive a 5 to 20 % tip is preposterous. Not good business: I quite hate it, and it should be removed

Nice shop in downtown with Italian authentic products. Here I found Mulino Bianco cookies and fette biscottate. Also there is chinotto and peach iced tea San Benedetto. There are also wines and a nice salumi counter with a lot of Italian cheeses. Prices were not crazy compared with the same product price sold in Italy. For Easter I found also a good Colomba and uova di Pasqua.

We come here for dried pasta and spices. They also have a great selection of cheeses and chocolates.

DeLaurenti is so much more than an Italian market. They have a top notch deli and a wide selection of authentic Italian goods. They carry meats from local shops, like Salumi, but for the same price as what you would pay at Salumi. They are friendly and professional as well. Highly recommended!

Great place to buy ingredients for making pastas at home. Really good variety of seasonings and sauces. One of the only places I have been able to find Nongs Khao Man Gai Chicken and Rice Sauce in Washington State.

The best deli store in Seattle, if not in all of Washington. Their cold cuts are of excellent quality, they know how to slice it properly and always the same consistent quality. Best authentic cheeses and a nice variety of Italian and European goodies.

I went to this place a week ago to buy some bottles of wine. I was so fascinated by the huge range of wines that they had. I mean they every bit of everything that you needed. From wines to whiskey and beers. This place is really awesome. You should try to visit this shop and get amazed by their wines.

I am going there every year when I visit Seattle to have a bite upstairs and a bottle of wine together with my colleagues. Nate is always very welcoming and attentive.

I love that this place is a mini farmers market with a artisan cheeses, bread, homemade food and homemade ice cream. Love walking around inside exploring. Top it off with an amazing grilled sandwich and you will be so happy. I had their cheese plus, their classic grilled cheese with Dijon mustard and sliced tomato topped on sourdough bread and I loved it. Definitely share it but the cheese they use is a daily blend of their cheeses they sell. This is my new Saturday morning spot!

My original review was a one star, due to an incident where I was overcharged and the cashier handled the refund process very poorly.Having now spoken with Matt the owner of the store I am satisfied that this is not usual practice for DeLaurenti, and that they are taking steps to ensure that this doesnt happen again.I have alot of respect for business owners who take time to listen to customer feedback, and act on it, so Ive adjusted the rating to reflect that, and also to reflect that they offer an excellent cheese counter.

The sandwiches are big enough to share and are warmed in a press. After your quick lunch at a shared table, shop for Italian and other specialty groceries that are hard to find. The deli cheeses and meats are expensive, but very high quality.

A great place to get some specialty grocery items, and an enormous selection of fancy (and delicious) cheeses, cured meats, and wine. Im sure it can get crazy busy and the parking is expensive or kind of terrible because it is in the market, but its worth it. The service is great and everyone Ive spoken to there is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.

Historic Italian deli/cafe serving delicious dishes all around with great prices. The cannoli here are the best Ive ever had. They also sell ingredient to their own dishes in the deli section, all at just the right amounts and reasonable prices. Staff are all very courteous and quick to serve at the order counter.

Best spot in Seattle to get deli meat and cheese! The only challenge is waiting in line to get someone to help you. But I went recently at the end of January and it was surprisingly slow after the holidays. They have specialty food items that are hard to find elsewhere. Win win.

This is a real delicatessen in Downtown Seattle. This store selling cold cuts, cheeses, and a variety of salads, as well as a selection of unusual or foreign prepared foods, caviar, anchovies, pickles, jam, ect...Cafes in front of the shop and if you want to drink a glass of wine with small bite, you will find the opportunity watch the street.

Had a great experience, food was tasty and a huge variety of cheeses. Several varieties of deli meats and given many samples. Wine area was very extensive and employees very helpful in helping us find the wine were wanted.!!!!

I popped in here for a quick bit when I saw someone walk out with a steaming hot pizza slice while I was waiting for my ride. Got the pizza and the crust was chewy like it had sat in the display for days. Id give it another try and order something else, but the shop was nice and service was kind as well.
