Usually this family dollar is on point and about 15 cents cheaper than the other one in town. But apparently this past week, or maybe just this month, they have been off with products shortage and stocking. But this is the first time in five years that this has happened there. So, I wont give up on them just yet.

Dont ever by a Picture frame from family dollar they are cheap made and every time we get something there its brakes.

Great staff hands down. Management has turned this establishment into a friendly warm place to shop for our essentials. Kudos to the Lake Placid Family Dollar store being on my Top 10 List of favorite spots to shop. Its all because of the staff.

Terrible management. Dirty store.After I purchased almost $50 in items, I discovered, after unpacking, 3 one dollar packs of lighters were missing. When I went back to the store to inquire whether the lighters might have been left behind, the manager insisted that I had them when I left. My word should have been sufficient for a refund, or replacement of the 3 packs. But no offer was proffered. Therefore I will never return again and will take my business elsewhere. Over 3 dollars, this store lost a good customer. I cant in good faith reccomend this store to anyone.

Awful service. A youngish girl at the register was practically ignoring me and giving me a sassy attitude when I was trying to ask for help on where a particular item was. Never coming here again.

Not very clean and always a line, not enough cashiers. But they have a have a good variety of food. So if you just need a few things and dont feel like going to the grocery store, this is the place.

Girls working were very polite .But is in good hands with the all around friendliness, and I really dont need to be told about a product if I cant find it.So please give the girls the credit.Thank you Brian Tenneson. I have never met them so there customer service was genuine. Thanks again.

Convenient location opposite side of town from most other stores, if you want to avoid the hassles of Highway 27. Good for a quick stop for little necessities like milk, aspirin or cereal. With a coupon or sale often price competitive, but not the best selection or prices in the region.

This family dollar store needs close special corporate attention, I repeat it is in extreme dismay. This family dollar store is needing a whole new staff and management. I am a regular customer, I still continue to shop but I have never felt so disrespected and unwelcomed in any establishment, not based on thievery but its the feeling of unwanted due to the collar of my skin, and no not for being African American, but FOR BEING CAUCASIAN, and on several occasions while shopping there i have actually witness the cashier allow her friends to walk out with out paying, and when something was mentioned to her she said she knows them and she will tend to them on the street. This family dollar store needs new staff, or can someone at least pull the video surveillance and see for them self I might call a lawyer for some type of unjust racial hate. LOOK AT THE VIDEO SURVEILLANCE....

Great selection of products

Third time there and none of the cashiers are friendly. The ignore you and are on their cell phones. My boyfriend slapped the cell phone from one cashier because he was on it instead of cashing my boyfriend out. Need help on proper customer service.

The most untrained and RUDE employees, including management, that I have ever seen. Other than that it would be a great store. I wish that I could give it no stars

I like the prices. Just wish somebody would organize the paperback and hardcover books to make it a little easier to look through.

This Family Dollar store is great. Nice people to deal with. I had to sue Family Dollar few years back but that one is further down in Sebring.
