Honestly not the best experience today. Would give it a 1 star or zero if I could. As the consultant (Jose) was professional & courteous, I’ll give it 2 stars.What happened: my computer does not connect to wifi. It made a loud noise & was sent in for service (3 weeks to get it back) and received on 9/17. It is October 5th and I could not connect my computer to my wifi at home. The day prior everything worked perfectly. It is frustrating from one day to the next - I should not be experiencing this as it was repaired so to say. Not acceptable.Jose attempted to connect to the store wifi five times… 4 out of 5 did not work. The 5th attempt did. Jose spoke with Edgar about my laptop was informed of a “re do job” which I was not happy about but okay to drop off and send back to repair. After they ran some tests manually through its hardware diagnostics and & usb Ethernet plug (as I was using it for my Internet source) - everything passed with flying colors.That is great! Still not happy with 4 out of 5 attempts not working - send it to repair. Edgar (Repair Agent) informed Jose that they couldn’t accept it because everything passed. Jose stated my wifi at home could have dropped. I jokingly said - ok have someone come to house to check it while I in front of him showed him my Ring spot lights working perfectly that are connected to my wifi. Connections are strong in & out of the house. He said I would have to pay for them to come out and check it. The issue is this computer.FYI - I have my work laptop, my Ring security system, tablets, and other devices on my wifi at home with no issues. Also have wifi extenders and access points with my Internet plan on 1gb download/upload speeds —— it certainly isn’t my network at home, it’s this computer.I have called Geek Squad corporate and filed a complaint. No reason why my computer can’t be serviced and or replaced. I have the most expensive protection plan to have peace of mind #worryFree issues on my purchase.Resolution: nothing. Waiting to hear back. At the moment, I have completely the opposite. No peace of mind, I have a headache & a defective computer.

I would give ZERO STARS but google wont let me!! Do not go to Best Buy In Secaucus!! They are POS. They lost my fridge and and they didnt tell me about it until the same day it was to be delivered. I dont have a fridge for a month now Horrible customer service! Also best buy call center are the worst, they transfer me to the wrong line. Plus trying to file a complaint to the corporate office is non existent. Avoid this location or best buy!!!!!!!! Id rather do to PC Richard and son.

In short, if you know what you want and you see it available at this location and know your product very well Best Buy serves its purpose but that is about it.This is just like any other Best Buy, very spacious, showrooms were not well organized or well kept, the Google Chromebook section was poorly displayed, Apple section seemed to be well attended to (this demonstrates preference of one brand over the other; staff not being knowledgeable or helpful of any one given brand or platform); not too many options on stock and staffing can be somewhat mediocre. If youre lucky enough to find one helpful staff member (at times youre able to depending on the location) itll make the difference between a worthwhile visit or not. (I was fortunate enough to find that one very helpful staff person at the location.) Parkside pickup is usually crowded with vehicles parked while the customer shops inside.Their insurance/Geek Squad options are not always beneficial either. Id itemize in detail but that would be an incredibly long write-up.

Poor customer service. Looks like people don’t want to work here. False information provided, lack of communication with customers, after spending $1400 have to stay in line to get a bag. Ask few employees to help me and they just run away. Not going to come here and spend my thousands of $$$$$ here. Good luck rest of you.

The employee in geek squad (a guy who’s bald with ginger-brownish beard) has the worst attitude I came in today for an AirPod trade in and was treated like trash. If you don’t have the patience to explain something to customer, you chose the wrong job…don’t make your customers pay for it. Best Buy, interview your employees more thoroughly.

Went to pick up my PS5, and was surprised at how good this best buy was. Its bigger and obviously has a much better selection than the Best Buy in American Dream being that its a stand alone store. I know the Best Buy in American Dream is convenient, but I would recommend coming here if youre specifically doing shopping for just for electronics.

I remember hearing a statistic recently that because of the superior logistics of American retail stores, 92% of the time a store will have an item that youre looking for in stock. Best Buy then is the black sheep, or some other dynamic is at play here because they seldom ever have the product Im looking for, or anything else that could suffice in its place. Its bad.

Wow. What a dump. Third world country inside of New Jersey. Many things missing from shelves. Mislabeled products. Whole store just has this feeling of abandonment. This isnt so much a rating on Best Buy. Ive had really good experiences with the Holmdel and Woodbridge locations. But this place was just something else. Management really needs to be addressed.

Came here to see if they had new graphics card released since we were told via website that it would be in every bestbuys.The moment we went in, the store is pretty big and spacious.We asked a worker near the computer section, had no clue what we were talking about, answering with usually dont recieve stocks on this day. We then asked another worker, and again, had no idea what we were talking about.We took it as they have no clue, and decided to walk around to check out the DVD section.The DVD aisle was practically empty and a mess. Perhaps there was another aisle that had dvds, but I did not see any. Didnt bother looking around much, and just left.Not sure if Ill come back here.

I ordered a couple parts for my car a month ago from Jimmy W and I had an appointment a month later only to find out that the harness that Jimmy W ordered for me was the wrong one, so now I have to wait another month for a new appointment and I had to order the new harness piece myself, it was really inconvenient that the employee ordered the wrong price for my car. Horrible.

Went to look for a Dyson vacuum. Product had the price tag of $599, I go to the register and they proceed to tell me it’s $849. Long story short, there staff had the wrong price under the wrong product but that’s not my problem. Price should have been honored and it wasn’t. After speaking with an employee he told me it was $699, then changed up again and went back to $849. Mark your prices correct and know the prices of the products you sell or don’t expect consumers to purchase them.

Inventory isnt great but due to the current state of the things I understand. I did leave with something so it wasnt a total loss. Customer service was great and the the store was clean and organized. Other than the crazy location, where you can only enter and exit from one spot and depending on the direction youre coming from youll have to do a u turn just to get to the parking lot this store is dope. Ill definitely visit again.

Worst appliance delivery service ever. After three attempts, we had to cancel our order.attempt 1- Delivery crew of two say they cant bring refrigerator up the front porch into the house because it didnt fit trough the railing on the stairs. we went back and told the salesperson about it and brought the measurements. He promised a second delivery crew with 4 guys.attempt 2- two guys crew (not 4) show up and say they cant deliver the refrigerator because of the railing. 3 guys offered to help carry it, but the BestBuy crew refused because their union does not allow them to lift nothing above their knees. the railing was only 3 ft high.attempt 3- delivery did not show up. we show up at the store and cancel.a second delivery of washer/ dryer came without the necessary parts for installation even though we had the receipts showing we paid for it.

I went to buy a TV and sound bar with my girl for her parents and I wish I remembered the reps name, she had glasses with long hair shaved on the side, well she was phenomenal and made us feel comfortable. I am a store sales manager for Mattress Firm and this rep deserves a raise. She was knowledgeable, patient, not pushy and helped us get exactly want we wanted and needed. I commend Best Buy having such amazing and professional sales reps! I recommend Best Buy in Secaucus!

I was 5 min before 8pm that they close and i had a return when the guy at front door had the door closed and didnt let me in even that was 5 min before they close. His name was Eli.. and he was very nasty.. i asked for the spv or manager and he just said that je was the manager.. he waited till 8 to come to the door and listen to me when i was 5 min earlier. Not sure how they run the business with these employees that dont wanna do their job and dont care at all. And all they do is chit-chatting with each other and never helping customers. By the way location Secaucus. This location the worst non helping customers. If i were u, just stay away or u gotta have some nerves to deal with the attitude

I worked with Erica Rodriguez in their appliance department. First of all if she walks up to you just leave the store unless you want to work with someone who extremely unprofessional and has 0 sense of customer service.I ordered a Bosch dishwasher 800 series which was delivered today. During the delivery my brand new floors were severely scratched and when I reached out to Erica she gave me an 800 number to call and said there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to her manager and never heard from her again. In addition to this my dishwasher is not draining and no one is getting back to me so I am going to have to call a separate plumber to get this repaired. I am sure if I worked with someone else I would have gotten better customer service.

This place does not have their ish together. Called the store and the automated message says they’re not taking calls because of the “pandemic” that started 14 months ago. I get an geek squad operator that tells me the store has a car audio technician and they unwittingly transferred to a corporate line who then transfers me to the store again and I get hung up on after waiting for 20 minutes. Get to the store and another affable nitwit tells me they haven’t had car audio technicians for 4 months now. Btw the store is enourmous and empty so no reason not to answer the line. Failure best buy, failure.

When it comes to electronics, I prefer to go to best buy. I found better options and variety of electronics. Its prices can be a little bit higher than any other stores, but at least I can see and feel the quality. Something that I cant feel online. My oldest son loves it. By far most intimidating, hostile and aggressive staff especially asset protection when it comes to mask enforcement for Covid 19. After a previous incident where I was adjusting my mask and security ran after me from 30 feet away to hound me about my mask, and then continue to provide horrible customer service another poor experience by not only asset protection again, for coming after me going out the door when my masked slipped below my nose, Brian Fox the general manager for giving complete disregard to the situation. I not only have asthma I have life long disability, which impairs my ability to function for life. Assets protection are not only could of gotten someone seriously hurt if the wrong person had been approached that way its bad business overall. Leave the law enforcement to the police. Skip this place

I was not a happy customer today at the Verizon cellphone kiosk. When I arrived there was a salesman at the register who just looked at us and turned away. I was looking at 2 phones and immediately had questions, when I turned around to ask, the salesman was gone.. After standing by the phones for like 15 minutes, he returned. I walked towards him and asked him if there was anyone who can assist me with a Verizon phone because I had questions. His reply was, what do you want? Ummm, rude! I let it go because I honestly had a few questions, and I need a phone asap. I continued to ask him my questions and he was very dificult, just seemed like he was being bothered. Ultimately I walked out of the store because it felt like this would go nowhere.
