On a road trip with the family and we stop at this rest stop. It is a nice place to take a break from the road. They have places to eat, grab a few souvenirs and get some coffee if you need help on the road. Its not the biggest rest stop Ive been to for food selections but it is something to hold you down along the way. Oh and they have Roy Rogers which they dont have in new York any more.

I don’t get it. A rest stop that has a 2 hour time limit and no idling!!

TRUCK DRIVERS ATTENTION...you will not be towed if you stay in your truck during the remainder of your 10hr reset. State police do random checks and if your parked for 12hrs then you will get towed. If you leave your truck they will also tow you unless your going inside to get food, bathroom etc. The bad thing is that they knock on your window so they might wake you up while your sleeping..this is all confirmed by the state police from Newark,NJ...The fine is hefty, your looking at atleast 2,000 dollars to recover your truck.

Lots of entrances and exits for easy access to the various parking areas.

Most staff were friendly and helpful including management. The one exception was the woman, who worked mornings, at the Roy Rogers.

A BIG problem when the bathroom has no way for anyone to wash their hands at a rest stop...not even hand sanitizer. All the sinks were marked as out of order. Don’t stop here.

For all the TRUCK DRIVERS I can not stress or repeat this enough Sunoco does not I repeat does not tow your trucks. The state troopers tow your trucks. It is there property, it is the states propety and there are signs all over the truck parking lot telling you 10 hour parking. Do not blame the people that work for sunoco. If you are to ignorant to follow what the sign tells you or think the troopers dont do there job then that is your problem. You can only blame yourself. For the love of god follow the rules and you wont have to pay $2000 to get your truck back.

The service at Starbucks is great, I go there all the time. But please, someone do something about the music! I feel like it’s the same song over and over. It’s like Groundhog Day at Starbucks! How about a different theme everyday and switch it up and keep it fresh, just like the coffee!

Clean bathrooms and organized right. Gas station has decent services as well. However always pay attention to the ultra and premium gas, it is only few cents but it is a big difference between 91 & 93 octane.

Decent service area. Not exceptionally anything, but if you need to use the restroom and grab some food its fine. Came on the night of pride in NYC so I saw the empire state building light up rainbow as I sat in the parking lot. Beautiful view.

Bathroom was clean. Toilet paper didnt dissolve in my hand so that was awesome. Its like Scott thickness (the old school rolls, not the soft and thick). Bonus that there was a good Starbucks. Lots of parking. Nice grassy areas for dogs.

Decent place with average bathroom. Best part is the Starbucks located inside. Many people sleeping in cars overnight.. seemed alright for them. Food is decent although overpriced a bit. About 10 min drive to Jersey City.

First service area on southbound Turnpike.Restrooms are fairly clean. Roy Rogers, Nathans and Starbucks. All a bit overpriced.Lots of tables. Not sure how crowded on weekends as was here on a Tues afternoon.Half dozen massage chairs. I did a 3 min massage and it was good. Decent parking area. Overall, not that bad. Sunoco gas.

2 hour parking for cars, SERIOUSLY?Why is it even called a rest stop?

Very poor experience. Roy Rogers staff was most unhelpful. The two ladies kept talking among each other... instead of serving customers. The only crowd I saw was at Starbucks.The next service area was much better.At least there staff had courtesy to tell us if they were closed.

Went to get gas and the attendant had issues with the card machine on the pump. These guys deal with enough and should have issues like this looked at so trucks and other vehicles to be productive and bring in more business. The issue caused delays, and unnecessary frustration. Take care of your workers!!

Handful of choices for food and coffee. We needed a Starbucks on as we headed in to Jersey, and this was perfectly situated for us. Clean and simple.

I parked the truck for 14 hours and towing my truck, Sunoco,its no good experience

Most disgusting bathrooms on the East coast. Seriously. Gotta make an eagles nest of tp in this one. Food is decent. Parking isnt great either.

This restaurant bathroom has the worst bathrooms I’ve ever seen in any rest stop from here to Chicago! Awful!

Hands down worst stop either. Lots of attitudes from the “workers”, only one person working two counters. They make you feel like they are doing you a favor. Never stop here!!

Nothing was clean, and the employees (at the only place to eat) were exceedingly grumpy. There was no cashier for about twenty minutes so the line for food stagnated and all our food got cold. Not that the food was even worth eating. Two stars because there was a working ice cream sandwich vending machine.

The roy rogers refused to serve me food. Though he was able to make it at135am, he said he serves burgers at 2am. Awful service here on june 11 2018.

Clean restrooms. No free WiFi. Needs more truck parking as it fills fast. I got here around 12:00 noon and had trouble finding a place to park.

A nice and quiet place to relax after a long drive, but food choices are poor, and mens bathrooms are not always tidy.

Nothing much there other than Roy Rogers and a new stand restrooms and seating area. Always empty and Roy Rogers employees look like they despise working there. Food is pricey for a hole in the wall.

Guys who pump gas are very rude and unprofessional dont have any common sense. Very disrespectful and only blame the equipment for there clear mistakes

As many times as I have been in this Service Plaza (with charter buses) I have never seen the Starbucks closed!! Very, very disappointed!!

I park there for my 10 hr to rest state trooper wake me up midle off that night told me and other driver to leave and that manager is shady he wait for you to go to dinner in back that rest area then he has your truck tow
