Brought our vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation. Also had a slow leak in one of our tires. We were told it would take about an hour, which it did. Quality service at an affordable price. Will certainly be back in the future.

They are very busy but they work very fast and efficiently. Had a weird noise at the back of the car and they checked it out for free. Floyd knows what hes doing. Definitely recommend

Went to Big O originally due to my new work schedule conflicting with the other shop Id been going to, but Ill be going here exclusively from now on! Love the Saturday availability! And Phil was extremely nice and helpful.Id been told by the other shop that I needed new front breaks and a tire alignment. After taking a look and completing the alignment, Phil let me know that the breaks had plenty of wear left, they had 25%+ remaining and would easily go another 10-15,000 miles. I so appreciate the honesty! Big O made a new, happy customer today!

A customer asked politely if he could pick up his vehicle at lunchtime about 12:30. The service guy went “nuts” in front of everyone within earshot and embarrassed the customer. All that needed to be said was “ I’m sorry, we can’t do that because…” . Instead the service guy was an A whole. If he would have treated me this way I would have given him a piece of my mind. Instead, I will take my business anywhere else but Big O Sedona.

I feel like I got screwed. There was an ad for $100.00 off on set of 4 Pirelli tires. I looked at the ad with Floyd at the Sedona store when I ordered the tires. I had them installed, but when I paid for them I didnt get the $100.00, because they were not physically at the store in stock, which the small print stated. I have been a customer of Big O for over 25 years, and I think Floyd should have told me that the $100.00 would not apply, since they had to be ordered from Phoenix.

I had gone to this shop on September 1st to get my tires changed and an alignment while on a trip with my family. The job on the tire change was average but the alignment was not done correctly as my wheel drifts to the right even while driving on a straight road. They had not given me confirmation that my car was in good use, as they do here, and when I asked for that paper they said I needed to ask earlier, even though that needs to be an automatic thing. The thing that really got me to write this review is the fact that I kept about $400 in cash in the compartment between two seats, and after their time with it, I noticed it gone. I called them to review possible camera tapes during the time my car was there, and they said they did not have cameras installed. I dont believe some of their employees are trustworthy and their security obviously makes it easy for them to potentially do similar acts. I do not recommend going to this shop.

Very helpful. My truck had a hose break to my radiator and I Live in Payson. I took it in to them and the had it all taken care of in about an hour and a half. I was able to drive home after that with no issues. Thank you guys

DONT BOTHER! Spend your money at Discount Tire instead. Went in to the Sedona location to inquire about a tire sensor and was basically talked down to by an older man behind the counter, in a lobby full of people. I was given nothing but short, one word answers and snarky remarks. I didn’t realize Big O Tires made their money off of customers who know anything and everything about tires already….. to top it all off, I had agreed to wait the hour and pay what he had quoted me but asked if I could have my keys back so I could get some belongings out of my car while I wait. He was clearly annoyed and flung my keys at me from across the counter, at which point I decided to spend my money elsewhere and left. As someone who works in customer service, I have nothing but sympathy for a person having a bad day…. I think he should consider retirement.

Really not friendly or professional. Wouldnt honor my online cupon for $16.95 oil change and rotation without a paper copy. Charged me full price (more than twice that) without rotating my tires. There are too many other options around for me to go back there.

We picked up a nail up around the Honanki ruins today. We stopped by Big O Tires on our way back into town and were told the wait would be about an hour. Within 20 minutes our tire was plugged and we were on our way. Great Service!!!!

I went in to get my low tire checked out. The man at the desk said it would be about an hour wait. Two hours later, the man was beginning to put the tire back on my car. I asked him what was the problem with the tire. He was clearly angry and told me it was a nail in an angry voice No eye contact. I asked to see the nail, wondering what kind of a nail it was. He said he threw it away. So I went to pay for the fix. Then retrieved my keys and drove a mile and half home. In the morning, my tire was low again. I drove to Big O. The man at the desk, said he couldnt help me because he was too busy that day and that I should try again in the morning. Unbelievable!So anxiously, I drove my car back home. The next morning, I was told that the lot was full, but I could wait in line for my turn, hours. I told them I would try to get help elsewhere. I called Discount Tires and made an appointment for that afternoon. When the assistant manger of Discount saw my tire, he said, the man at Big O broke your bead. He called Big O in Sedona, and they took no responsibility. The rubber is hanging off the side of the rim! They said it was because I had too old of a tire!. I have less than 28,000 miles on my 2017 car. Very easy driving and there is plenty of tread. Now I have to buy one or two new tires. Big O is not customer friendly, way over their heads in business and not responsible.I now must buy one or perhaps 2 new tires. Obviously from Discount Tires.

Big O in Sedona AZ is an exceptional tire shop. I would rank them number one over all the many shops I have done business with over six decades. They go the extra mile for their customers with courtesy checks and rotations. Whenever feasible they make flat repairs and are forthright about when that is not possible. They are a quality tire provider.

Responsive team, traveling down In I-17, ran into a tire issue. Got there about 30 minutes before closing, they took care of us, decent deal on a set of tires. Thanks for the hospitality at 2pm on a Saturday.

Not fond of the no appointments policy. Makes it hard to plan. You get there and there are 6 cars ahead of you. People are having a hard time keeping 6 feet away. Their customer service is O K AY. A smile with a greeting would be nice. Not what I expect from some place as nice as Sedona. Or for any business. I left due to the promised wait. Time is money after all.

I was motivated to write about my latest experience with Big-O in Sedona. I have had a few minor tire issues in the past and Big-O was okay. My latest experience involved getting new tires all around for my Tesla 3. I had a concern about jacking the Tesla. I have the pucks for jacking, but I didnt know if they had worked with Teslas and you can really screw up the battery if you dont jack it right. As it turns out, they had Tesla experience. A bigger concern for me, was Covid. I spoke with Floyd when ordering the tires. When they came in, I asked him if I could be the only one driving the car in. I told him I didnt want anyone else in the car. He was fine about that and I was relieved. It took about an hour to do the tires. I opted not to wait in the waiting room. I also asked them to see if they could get some credit for my original tires as they definitely didnt last as long as they should have. They went to bat for me and got a decent amount of credit towards the purchase price. Very happy with Big-O and highly recommend them! Thanks Floyd and the Big-O team!

Seems so overpriced... They will tell you when you come to pick up your car, after they replace your tire, that you need more new tires.

Booked appointment online but I didn’t received any confirmation. Visited the office 1 day before the appointment to confirm but I was informed they don’t do online appointment and need to call or come in the office. Very rude receptionist all the way!

Its extremely rare that I ever leave a bad review for anything... so this took a lot for me to get here.First of all - the general service from Floyd (front desk manager) was great. I really liked him a lot.I came in because of pulling to the left and to have a tire alignment. The team did the alignment and sent me on my way. They were relatively timely.I recognized I still was having issues and went to Reese Tire & Automotive Pros in Cottonwood via reccomendation (Its worth the drive from Sedona!). I watched as when they got my car up on the deck and used their hands to move my tire they gasped and said this thing (my left tire) is about to come off... I cant believe those guys aligned this without just checking to see if your tire was stable - you could have died. They troubleshooted and realized it was a simple bearing issue and fixed me up, sent me on my way free of charge.Reese recommended that I get a refund from Big O. When I came back to Big O... I was met with what I would describe as hardass aggression from the owner Phil. Im a super soft guy... not intimatiding... and shared that I felt that sending me on my way with a tire alignment that is about to fall off is out of integrity... and I would like a refund for my $71. He refused - saying that the alignment had nothing to do with the bearing. Phil shared that the alignment machine does not check the front end and they only check it if a sensor comes up... I believe Phil to be true... however, when Big O does an alignment they showed me that they dont care to simply wiggle the tires by a human to make sure that its on tight. Big O is an in and out kind of shop that is not dedicated to customer service & true safety.The folks at Reese said whenever they do an alignment they make sure the safety of the vehicle/driver is first and foremost and that they always check the front end. I reccomend that you go to Reese tires to get your support. Its worth the drive from Sedona.Phil offered to re-check my alignment the next morning... but after the experience I had and the aggression I experienced I will not return to Big O for any reason.I will remove this review if a refund is given.

Horrible experience. FLOYD was the rudest, and displayed horrible customer service. NONE of the employees were wearing masks, therefore making them a threat to public safety, putting their customers and all of Sedona in danger and vulnerable to a deadly virus. PHIL, ADAKAI, and FLOYD got extremely close to customers, speaking directly in their faces and could ultimately be responsible for the sickness and or death of many people who may have come in contact with them. disgusting experience, disgusting store, disgusting safety practices, & disgusting employees. take your money elsewhere. ♡

Manager Floyd was friendly & helpful- changed the 3 tires within 30 minutes.I went in to check if the tires were workable, since I was careful in preparing a long trip.Floyd pointed out that the tires were already old and needed to be replaced for a long trip. I trusted that he was telling the truth and not trying to sell me unnecessary new tires.So I am now worry free in driving my car knowing that all the tires are in good shape!

***UPDATE****The owners comment and make it appear that they have concern about these issues, but I emailed them the information they requested more than 2 weeks ago, and there has been no response to my email or a phone call to discuss the issue. Choose somewhere else to take your car!!I live in Phoenix but came to this shop when I was in town based on a recommendation from a dear friend who said they were honest and provided great service. I didnt get either. I waited for someone to come to the desk so I could check out. Another customer (male) came in after me, and the worker started walking off with that gentleman first. I had to ask him if there was someone to help me as I was first and had been waiting. He was very unpleasant. I had to ask if there were any issues with my car. He replied Nope, everything must be good because they didnt note anything wrong. Now I know that there are things wrong with my car, but I did not tell them that when I dropped off the car. I wanted to test their honesty. Unfortunately, they failed that test. I asked if they did the full 22 point inspection. He rambles off a few items and said everything was good. I had to ask about the tires....at a tire shop. Every shop I have ever taken my car to provides a breakdown of everything they checked and what they saw. Not this place. I was just provided the bill. I wanted to have the same experience my friend had, with the honesty and friendliness. I had read the reviews online, and second guessed making the appointment based on other peoples experiences. My advice, really pay attention to the critical reviews. They are the most truthful. I wont be back.

Stopped in for quotes on replacing a blown tire. Was interrupted while speaking multiple times and told that the installation voucher I printed from the website wasnt applicable, no explainition and no room for questions,D just abrupt interruptions and obvious condescension. Questionable prices as I went to a competitor in town and was quoted a significantly less price and my issues were diagnosed differently. I suggest education in simple courtesy and customer service.

$25 to take a nail out of a tire, which is nuts. And, they charged my friend $18 whos a local. They probably thought I was a tourist because of the CA plate, so the price was higher. Still, dishonest. Also, I called the day before. They said they opened at 7am, so thats when I arrived. Not really true. They open the front door, but they are not ready to work. 20-30 minutes to turn on the compressors, pull things out, etc. So I waited. What a low-class operation. There are other choices locally. Dont go here!

Unwilling to help so they could go home early.I stopped by on the afternoon of July 3rd when my tire pressure light came on. The shop tech checked all the tires and found one tire low. He filled it with air and the light eventually went off. I mentioned my daughter and I were on a road trip and we needed to drive another 8 hours the next day. I asked if they would be open tomorrow just in case we continued to have a problem with the tire (4th of July). He said they would be closed but they were open until 6 today. I dropped my daughter off at the hotel and returned to have the tire fully checked. It was approximately 4:30 when I returned. I was told they were closing early. I explained my situation and the long drive ahead. The older man from the office (manager?) said my tire would be fine. Another guy (service tech) joined the conversation to tell me there would be plenty of places to stop on the road if I had a problem. They were clearly unwilling to help me. And of course .. I had a flat the next day. Everyone was closed for the holiday. I had to pay a ton of money to get it repaired in the next town.Thanks Big O 👎

They got us in and out good time but the tech left oil on the steering wheel. Not very good attention to detail. It took me and 409 to clean it up. Not what I wanted to have to do with my afternoon.

Very friendly, competent place. My go to automotive place.Sep 25, 19 -- A really bad experience at Big O today: Made an appointment for an oil change for 9 am, advertised at $19.50. Two and a half hours later, the scheduled oil change is finally done. Actual cost $52.99. I was not notified while waiting that it would take so long or that it would be much more expensive than advertised. The front person, Floyd, was surly when I asked what happened -- they had to order and wait for an oil filter! On top of it, the forgot to reset the dashboard oil change message.Obviously not my go-to automotive place anymore. Today Id give them 2 stars.

I came here hoping they could repair my tire. Actually I came twice. I came in at 5:50 waited upfront and when someone came out from the garage he barely let me say anything without him abruptly interrupting me and saying they were closed. So I came back the next morning with the same treatment, this time it was him telling me that my tire couldnt be fixed and I needed new tires. I then drove to cottonwood and found Navarros tire shop that repaired my tire with no problems at all.

Ill be 100% honest i use to work for Phill the owner and his right hand man Floyd. Not only was i an employee but a loyal customer and this shop is awsome. Phill takes good care of his employees and his customers.

They didnt need my business, none of the employees were wearing masks. Zero considerations made for Covid prevention.

My work truck gets serviced through this location and they are always busy and somehow it never takes as long as I expect. Im always in and out. Even when they replaced two tires on the trailer I barely had enough time to pick out a magazine and get comfortable before they were all done. Highly recommend.

I called on Thur to see what kind of deal I could get on a full set of tires. They gave me a good price, and told me the tires would be in Saturday. I made an appointment for 8:30 am on Tuesday. I live in the VOC and drove up there to make my appointed time.After I get there, turns out they dont have the tires, they didnt come on the Saturday truck and would be on the truck that day at 10:30! Really? I made an appointment with you, I took time off work, I drove up from VOC. They have this new invention...its called a telephone...have you heard of it? The guy at desk was like well they arent here, so why didnt you call and reschedule?You expected me to show up for my appointment, how can you not call? Never a word of apology, I rescheduled for the next day...on my way out the door he throws a sorry in my direction...really? Well never mind I just went to Discount Tire in Cottonwood instead and gave them my business, no appointment needed, had the tires in stock, in and out in an hour.Very polite, clean space for customers...NEVER going back to this place!

They fixed a flat for me but did not put enough air in the tires. My car is a limited production performance car with tires that requires 46 lbs of air. Unlike most cars the tire pressure light goes off immediately once the tires have enough air. I tried to explain to them the car does not need to be driven to reset the tire pressure warning light but they didn’t listen and just told me to drive it a few miles. I checked the tires myself and they were 8 lbs low. I used by bicycle pump to inflate them properly and the warning light went off without being driven as I told them. I called them to let them know and they said they didn’t even look at the sticker to inflate the tires properly. A little more attention to detail and some listening and this will be a great place to go.

We went in for a noise in the Jeep for what we thought was a noisy wheel bearing. It was not a wheel bearing. We did have a loose tire. They tightened it and checked the pressure in all the tires. Very good service and very, very reasonably priced! Thanks for the great service! I would recommend them to everyone.

Dont waste your time. I had to get a new alternator, which costs $165. But Floyd wanted to charge me $285 for the part, and $280 for labor. I asked him nicely to help me with the price. He was extremely rude and told me if I didnt like it, then take my car back, and repair it myself. I told him not to touch my vehicle, and I gladly took my car to another repair shop, who fixed it, $200 for everything. Now I probably would have let Big O fix it for $565, but thanks to Floyds rude attitude, your business lost money. Word of advice, learn how to speak to customers with respect

These guys know what theyre doing and they do it well. Some people might find them to be gruff, but I find it refreshing, and also appropriate for this industry. They get it done.

The very last thing I had them do was an oil change and tire rotation...basic and simple. It was then put on a dolly and moved across the country. Now that Im in Florida, first time I go to drive it, noticed not 1 but 2 of my hubcaps have fallen off!!! Seriously???? Ive had this car for 5 1/2 yrs and never had a problem, take it to them one time and now hubcaps fly off. So not happy 😠😠😠😠

One of the owners really struggled with any form of customer service whatsoever, especially with women it seems I fared somewhat better then my wife. I think they are also too busy. Busy enough that they are actually dangerous. We had 5 tires installed, 4 wheels and a spare. Each wheel bolted back into the truck has 8 wheel nuts, 32 in total. 15 were loose and out of those 3 were very loose. Another 2 were about as close to falling out as it is possible to achieve (it took a single turn of the thread for me to be able to remove them). There was zero consistency in how torqued the remainder of the bolts were. Terrible attention to detail that could have serious consequences.

Awful no integrity. Was told cheapest truck tires out the door 2 on the rear about $300 including everything. I was charged $400.00 and when I asked why the difference they said taxes install fee balancing all had to be added....today I had to replace them as discount tire said they where SUV tires and was already half way gone....what a rip off...... done with these guys...go to discount tires in cottonwood much better service and awesome prices...they let me exchange the SUV tires for $120 in addition to 2 other tires a total of just over $400 man this helps a lot.

Big O in Sedona went above and beyond helping me get tires I needed after a flat in one and nail in another. They couriered 4 up from Phx same day, I was towed in late in the day right before closing and they stayed a little late right before the 4th and managed to get all four new tires on with no complaints and a smile. I should add that my wheel lock key was missing also. I highly recommend this group great service and very patient.

Im never going back here again, though Id bought tires and stuff from them in the past, the customer service was not at all what is expected of a big chain like Big O Tires.

These guys couldnt give a bleep.We show up at opening, 7am, in need of a tire for our F150 truck. No other customers in sight yet the two guys running the shop ignored us. Not even a can we help you. We finally track one guy down and ask about our tire. They do not have what we need in stock. We were visiting from Bend, OR and so our gold standard for service is Les Schwab. Big O tires is the polar opposite of Les Schwab. Go somewhere else if you can.

Absolutely worst customer service ever. I asked for a simple pressure check and air-up, and I got glared at, made fun of (if youre so bad...), and threatened (whatcha looking at? Stop lookin) by a guy that was shortish, darker skinned, with tattoos. Never going back, avoid at all costs.
