He kept me updated during the inspection and resultant repairs....so there were no surprises.He had a vast and complete knowledge of every facet of the garage doors functioning.He patiently explained why the parts needed replacing, and answered all my questions.He was respectful of my garage, and left no mess or old parts laying around.My discount coupon was honored, and everything is in working order. Josh Kyle was very polite, thorough, helpful, what he did not know he consulted with his managers. He did a great estimation of the problems, even one that can be easily fixed and gave me a fair estimate of needs. I was very impressed, this guy was great.I would say that he was among the fairest, best, expert advice on the issues with my old garage door. He even gave me information on ways to help stabilize the door to keep from wobbling.I would refer them to anyone. They called, I had to change the appt 2 times and they called ahead to give me an estimated time and called when there. I thought they would take a look at my old unusable garage door opener (circa 1998) and give me an estimate. But they had a unit in the van and they were able to replace it within a couple of hours. Could I have shopped around and found a better price for a unit and someone to install it? Maybe. But the convenience and service was great!

Tyler arrived promptly on time and provided excellent customer service and was able to provide me with information about my garage door and was able to provide me with the best possible deal.. he did very good work and was able to explain the warranty as well as additional information regarding my spring that was being replaced on my garage. I would definitely use this company again as their customer service is exceptional.

Jessie was well versed in the products he offered. Very helpful in pointing out the pros and cons of each brand. Having large samples of a variety of door styles and colors was very helpful. There is nothing better than dealing with someone who is competent, patient and friendly.

Joshua was awesome! I had an appointment scheduled for later in the week, but the situation became an emergency late Friday night and I couldn’t get my car out. We ended up getting a new door opener which he had on the truck, he had to work late to get it installed but was willing to do that. Jesse came out and installed a new opener and fixed a problem with my 3rd bay opener on my new house. He also had color samples and a brochure to assist me in my future purchase of new garage doors! The service was quick and courteous.I was quoted approx. $900 for lifetime springs and approx. $700 for 5 year springs. When I mentioned that a friend of mine had paid closer to $300 for his repair I was then quoted $460 for 2 year springs which I agreed to.My complaints are (1) I question if my springs are new because the springs that were installed are 2 different lengths and they came with no packaging (2) The actual cost of new springs on Amazon range from approx. $60 to $85 for the proper pair and (3) Why is service and labor so high and different between the 3 types of springs offered when install time is the same regardless of type installed?This sounds like a bit of a scam to me.

Ordering was easy installation was east I had a larger opening that needed to be framed in and they helped me with the design of that. Very Happy

Ryan has been to my place twice. Once to install a garage door opener and yesterday to bid a new garage door. I am very happy with their service to this date. I believe their prices are fair and competitive with others.

Although they were very professional it was your classic con game. The eyes on the garage door needed adjusting or replaced, the technician convinced my tenant that she needed new springs drums cables bearings etc. Instead of $100 bill I ended up with over a $600 bill. Classic scare tactic your garage door will fall down on your car because the springs are old......A1 advertises $45 tune up to simply get in your house and sell you something you dont need I would not use them again... And nothing was resolved, although they did offer me money to take down this review..... Did not do it because personally I dont think that is legal.

I felt it was a hard sell for a new system, when what I asked for was a tune up. My 45$ tune up special had hidden fees, bringing it to 72$. I was not warned about the 20$ fee to get here... I felt I was dealing with a professional used car sales man, not an honest tech. Maybe I need all the stuff he said I did, but I will go somewhere else for my repairs next time. They are in business to sell me garage door equipment, not to repair your old stuff. When he, finally, did the tune up, my door worked well, but first he did a huge sell for a whole new system. I dont recommend Jesse.

Was satisfied with service, my garage door is outdated and needed a tuneup and sensors. The replacement of parts with an outdated garage door is a bit pricey but I wont have to replace anything for many years.

Excellent service. You are able to say no to upselling at any time, but if you are interested in maintaining the quailty of access to your garage they are prepared to install what you can afford when they service your garage door opener.

Josh did a great job explaining all the pieces that needed replaced and their function. Felt like I had a good understanding of what repairs were needed and not like I was being pressured into them.

Joshua was on time, friendly, professional and explained all the details of the tune-up. Our door was making an unusual noise on the way up and down. Josh located the problem and fixed it. Our remotes were not working consistently and Josh advised that if there was an LED bulb in the motor light, it might be interfering with the remote frequency. He was right! He changed the bulb and the remotes work perfectly now.

Scott did an excellent job - he was friendly and obviously experienced. Thanks, Scott!2 areas for improvement:1) from purchase decision to installation was >10 weeks. I don’t know what is customary in this industry but seemed excessively long to me. Fortunately our old door was still functional; but something to inquire about if yours is not. They were good about updating us every ~2 weeks.2) I got a Vmail (from the local office) when my door was ready. I called back (to the # given, which was a toll-free National #) to schedule the install and got the answering machine. 3 days in a row. No return calls. On my 4th call I was able to schedule. Communication from the local team was very good. Much less so from the national team.Given these last 2 points, I lowered my overall score to 4. This might seem punitive to the local people, but reflects my overall experience.

The two men who came to install our new door were everything you could hope for in installation service. The left hand DID know what the right hand was doing as these two worked in perfect harmony to complete the task. I could not be more pleased.
