Kennedy was great! He provided me detailed information about the diagnostic results of my car, what can be fixed and at a great price. Even provided me different options of what can be done today or if I wanted to come back at another time. He answered all my questions and I truly felt heard about my concerns regarding the car. He seemed to know the problem immediately after he heard my concerns and that shows experience! I went home very happy and pleased with the results. The overall staff there were also extremely helpful and friendly, making sure I was tended to and provided anything I needed from an extra face mask to snacks and water. I love the service at Honda from buying my car to servicing it! They are very efficient and prompt. The consultant Kevin Almonte is polite and very knowledgeable of the service questions I had, no surprise I have gotten Kevin several times and not once was he not knowledgeable and prompt. He really is an asset to your business and let me add most of the consultants I have encountered with are very polite. Honestly, I can take my car anywhere for service but decide to return my dealer mostly impart because of the exceptional service. The cashiers are not really my favorite because they are a bit rude. But it doesn’t matter because at the end of the day I’m not there for them it’s about my car and how the consultants treat you in regards to the matter. On a bad day I would go to another service center because I know the cashiers at Honda would just aggravate me with their lack of people skills. Other than than Honda service center/sales is really top notch! And Kevin is awesome and keeps customers loving his customer service.

It was a great experience until the salesman sat down with us to discuss cost & financing. They were trying to get $7,000 over MSRP for the vehicle. That is roughly 28% over the sticker price. The salesman also stated that this is a competitive rate with other dealers in the area. For anyone looking for a vehicle right now, I can tell you with 100% certainty that this is not a competitive price. We are picking up a new Honda Civic Sport of the same color tomorrow purchased at MSRP. Shop around and ask questions. Dont be fooled.

I had purchased the tire and rim insurance for my Civic si back in 2019 when I purchased the car. After purchase I thought I had made a costly mistake. Would I ever use it? The answer was YES, and the results were quite amazing. somehow the rim and tire were made to look new again, and the care I received at the facility was wonderful. I brought my truck in since I had pushed in my air vent which caused the air not to work on the hottest day. They took my truck in and fixed my air vent no questions asked. They didn’t even charge me even though I broke it. They were professionals and accommodating. I waited less than hour.they even washed my truck.

My POC this time was Tim- From explaining each thing, to helping with pricing/ figuring out what I had covered to just being calm and patient with me- he was AMAZING and seriously a GODSEND!!!! Purchased a car for my son at this dealership and purchased the tire replacement plan. What they dont tell you when you purchase that plan is the hoops they make you jump through to utilize this plan by seek pre-approvals, and bounce you back and forth between the service department and the parts department several times. Definitely NOT convenient for the customer. Recently, my son had a flat tire and I called to get the pre approval, was bounced around as usual, and set up a time for him to come and get the tire changed. They couldnt take him until the next week, which was also not very convenient. My son arrived on time to have his tire changed, which should have taken less than an hour. He was there for FOUR hours, which was unacceptable and unnecessary. I called after the third hour to inquire what the issue was and received lies and a very poor attitude. I was rudely told it was being worked on and would be done soon. My son couldnt even contact me at this point because his cell phone battery died. Another hour passed and I called again because he was still there. More attitude and excuses. I requested to speak with the managers, but was told they went home already. I sent an email to the General Manager of the Dealership to make him aware of the situation and our extreme displeasure. I received an apology and I will look into it and more lip service.. No further follow up. Not so much as an offer for a coupon for a discount on an oil change in the future. Nothing. This is not the first time this has happened with this dealership, but it will be the last for me. My future business will be taken elsewhere. Last place I would ever buy a car or have it serviced.

Jonathan was a great help in resolving the issue of coverage on the air conditioning repair. He spent a lot of time on hold with the extended warranty company waiting for them to answer.. Finally after getting through he was told the repair would be covered, although there was a two day wait to get the approval. Jonathan was a pleasure to work with and Herb Chambers is lucky to have him as an employee. He remained professional even when dealing with our frustration with the warranty company.

My neighborhood mechanic suggested that I use the dealership to install the OEM fog lights on my 2021 Honda HR-V AWD because they could do for less money and time. I own a 2011 Honda CRV. I’ve used Herb Chambers Honda in Seekonk for service ever since I purchased the vehicle. I actually enjoy bringing my laptop in to their waiting room to write while my car gets worked on. Packaged snacks and cold bottled water always offered. COVID has restricted the range of treats like popcorn and ice cream, but it’s a nice perk. Mario arranged a recent oil change. He was incredibly polite, friendly, and professional. He let me know of maintenance that needed to be done with no pressure to complete it that day. I opted for the additional work and it was done very quickly while keeping me updated on their progress. The whole Herb Chambers staff from reception to checkout was great. They never let me down and I trust their work and advice.

After buying multiple Honda’s at multiple Honda dealers in Rhode Island and getting service as well, my experiences were not good and no longer trusted them with my vehicles.I ran out of dealers close by and my first pick was herb chambers of seekonk in Massachusetts. Took our vehicle in for its necessary services and was not persuaded to purchase things I did not want or service I did not want done. I scheduled an appointment, showed up and got the job done I wanted and was on my way. They even managed to get a light on my dash to disappear that I could not with out me even asking. I Appreciate there service and honesty to there customers and will return in the future, highly recommended.P.s while waiting in lobby i managed to listen in on multiple people buying and selling vehicles and the sales people. They all seemed to get what they wanted and we’re pleased with there sales encounters. Seemed like a Honda dealer I would actually want to buy a Honda from. Had my car towed after AAA testing indicated I needed a new alternator. Chambers insisted on making their own diagnosis as well, and called to inform me there was no way to test the alternator without me first purchasing a new battery. Of course I know this to be untrue— there are several ways to test an alternator with a weak battery. On top of that, I told them I had my battery replaced only 3 months ago, which is an all but 100% indication that the problem was the alternator. However I was feeling stuck since I was already very busy with my work day, and my car was towed from my work site leaving me unsure of how I would get home (45 minutes away) and back the next day, so I just agreed to the battery purchase because I don’t know any mechanics in the area. Of course, after I agreed to battery replacement, they told me that they tested the alternator and found it was failing. The fact is I could have just had the alternator replaced like I already knew I needed for free under my warrantee without the unnecessary out-of-pocket battery purchase. The staff here are pleasant, but I was left feeling pretty taken advantage of.

This place is, by far, the best, most efficient dealership I have ever used in at least forty years of car ownership. Efficient and courteous, no attempt to upsell, and enormously solicitous in a very good way.

I patronize the Honda dealership in West Warwick, RI and tried to get an emergency appointment when my rear brakes started to make a noise similar to a jet engine when I braked; this noise persisted even when driving. The earliest appointment which I could get was 7/29.I then tried other dealerships for an emergency appointment and Herb Chambers scheduled one immediately.The Herb Chambers Service Rep was excellent!My problem has been solved.

Six months after my purchase, I contacted her with a question about my warranty coverage after another company suggested I needed to get some work done on my vehicle. Colby questioned the advice I was receiving and went out of her way to schedule a time to double-check the reported issue for free. What a great day at the Honda stealership. Wife’s 2017 cr-v had the air conditioning not working. I bring it to this dealership where we have had service done in the past, and guess what? We were quoted 3k for the repair. We didn’t buy a BMW or an Audi, because we weren’t looking to pay those higher repair costs. So anyhow, I call up another Honda dealership to see what their service department would say, and they said it would be 2100. Ok, still high, but not unreasonable considering it’s a 900 dollar difference. End of the story, we got it fixed for 1250, less than half of what we were quoted. Not only will I never purchase another Honda, but I would not bring my vehicle here for service. I also recommend you do not come here for service unless you like to be taken advantage of and over pay for no reason at all.
