In, out, done. Sometimes the simplest service is the best. Cashier looked up item for me, very fast and helpful. Great location!
This is the first review I have literally ever posted online about anything, but the people here were so unhelpful and rude, it was wild. Ignored me when I walked in and waited by the front desk area, the guy at the desk seemed deeply annoyed I was asking for assistance and eventually (loudly) interrupted me to send me to another person who could not help me at all and had to go back and ask that guy anyway.Super frustrating for a place which touts service as a core competency.
Thank you to Manager Tom for assisting me with my tail light issue. He went above and beyond when it wasnt necessary. Im extremely grateful as I had already been turned away from your competitors and was frustrated by lack of customer service I had been receiving this evening. Thanks again!
Although I was a bit skeptical at first, because I wasnt sure if my problem was the battery or alternator, or both. I appreciate the help I got and the fact that they actually replaced my battery for me and let me know I was probably looking at having to replace my alternator based on my description of what is going on. I knew the battery, being over 5 years old, was probably the main culprit, and Thomas confirmed that the alternator also played into the issues Ive been having.
Just wanted to acknowledge Alex in the Severna Park store. Very helpful and accommodating in replacing the battery in my daughter’s car. Thorough and took great care. Don’t always see that kind of service.
Monique was awesome! Super helpful and a pleasure to work with. Great customer service!!
I wish I knew the gentleman that helped me because he could not have been any more wonderful.
Excellent experience, staff very helpful, especially Alyssa .In and out fast, had exactly what I needed.
Frank and Alex are the best!!! They just replaced my headlights and wipers in the dark and were so nice and patient when I was asking a million questions. Thank you again!
Zachary Johnson was amazing DIY sales thirsty June 3rd 2021 this is Miss Laura Parker a very appreciative customer
Cashier was on his cellphone he entire time, not only for my transaction but for the person in front of me. The store manager walked up and I thought she was going to say something to him about cellphone use instead they began a side conversation I guess about whatever was so important in his phone.
Always helpful... if they dont have it in stock, theyll let you know where and when you can get it.
They still have stupid mask required signs on their doors.
Great inventory definitely easy to find things. Store was very clean and the staff members were very nice!!
Very Good Customer Service, the lady who helped me(sadly didnt get her name) told me what to look for and where. She also helped me get a part i needed for my car by calling another store near by to see if they had it(they did) so I could get my part the same day! She also helped me put my windshield Wipers on after I bought them, she could see I was struggling a bit(all I know about cars is they are made of engine) and helped me put them on, she didnt have to go the extra mile but she did. So thank you for that!
Well stocked store.Good customers service
I would like to take a minute to thank Monique, Tyler, David for their credible service. I had the job from you know what I must have visited that store eight times in a day Monique went above and beyond to assist me every single time and I thank you so much.John Helsel
THIS STORE IS TERRIBLEThe manager Tom is always bringing his KIDS to work every so often and making them do things around the store such as checking out customers. I don’t know about you but that’s child labor.
I called to ask if they had the battery I needed for my Acura and asked if they could install it for me. I misheard the attendant and said “ oh so you can install it for me? Perfect!” And he basically yelled at me saying there wasn’t anyone to install it for me today. I was very taken aback by his tone and raise in voice. Very disappointed as I have gone to this autozone a few times and have always been pleased with their service. Even though Autozone had cheaper batteries and was significantly closer to where I was than advanced auto parts i decided to go with advanced auto parts. No matter what kindness and civility is what I look for and expect from people. Very disappointed.
Thank you to the bearded young man who put on our wiper blades on Xmas Eve when we couldnt figure out how to get the old ones off and the new ones on (two different mechanisms). The YouTube videos didnt help. The old ones started coming off on the Bay Bridge during steadily heavier rain. Youre a lifesaver!
Just went in there today to get my check engine light checked out. The guys there were very helpful even though they didnt sell the part that my car was saying it needed. They gave me a print out and even pulled up what the part looks like on their phone to show me. Informed me to be careful when purchasing because a lot of places will mark this item up significantly. I very much appreciated their help and guidance. Wish I got their names so could shout them out.
Very thankful for the staff at Auto Zone. They have the answer to my questions and the patience to make sure I have the right parts. Ive put them through their paces the past couple of weeks, and they keep finding me the right parts. Thank you!
3 times I have come here, all three times walked out empty handed. Staff is clueless. Last time I came I called ahead to confirm what I needed was here and in stock. They confirmed, I arrived, turns out they “thought we had some” but they are out of it.
Part was supposed to be in this morning now have to wait 2 more days
Very unprofessional manager working this evening, Witnessed him screaming at an employee in front of customers. Scared my daughter hearing that talk. Would really like to contact a real manager.
This place was a life saver for me and my family. I have a 1983 Chevy Coachman G30 RV and my alternator Belt was destroyed, I had several other belts in my storage area but none of them fit. Thanks to this particular AutoZone theyhad my Belt, I am a certified automotive mechanic, so I put it on Wright in the parking lot and away we went. 👍to this store. Thank you for being well stocked.
Courteous and efficient staff, they tested and then swapped my battery out for me. Even made decent small talk during the exchange. Highly recommend, and will certainly return for future car projects.
Absolutely terrible! The lady working was hiding back and not helping anyone unless the guy working got backed up. She was mostly checked out of the customer service part of the job and didnt bother to ask for my phone number. The guy working wants beating his drum sticks on the counter while we were shopping. It was very annoying.
This evening while I was shopping at this location, I was disturbed by the treatment one of your employees was behaving towards another one of your employees. An older worker was yelling at a younger employee & it was honestly very unprofessional and a bit worrisome. The employee being yelled at looked very shooken up from this situation and I think someone needs to have a talk with the older man who was acting so unprofessional. Very upsetting and I won’t be coming back to this location and I’ll be sure to not recommend this location to anyone else.
My boyfriend called ahead to ask if they only did curbside pick up, Frank answered the phone and said “ye”. He explained curbside orders had to be done online and basically hung up right after. I called back and asked if we could go into the store (we were looking for a specific item), I was told yes. He was pretty rude on the phone. Gave one word answers and hung up before I could even thank him for answering my questions. We get to the store and ask for assistance, Frank “helped” us. He spoke with food in his mouth, and at one point even spit some out. He was talking over his phone radio. We even had to repeat ourselves a few times because he couldn’t understand what my boyfriend was saying over his phone. He then spat out a random number and gave little description on where to find our item and dismissed us. While we did find what we were looking for, the store definitely lacked good customer service. Usually we have a much better experience here.
The attendees are very friendly and helpful. I purchased 3 wipers for my vehicle and they were put on for me.
Typical Autozone with limited inventory
Thay had what I needed price was right workers were friendly and helpful
Fast and efficient except for 1 card reader
Very good customer service. He even installed windshield wipers. They did not fit yet tried all research to get correct size. Much appreciated.
Good place to shop for Auto Parts usually have what you need. Got in and out pretty quick
Great service! Most employees are willing to help and get you on the road again :)
Great service and selection
Went and quickly looking for oil was easy to find and they had good customer service and a clean store.
I was able to find what I was looking for
Manager had his kids working the counter very unprofessional
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.
Pretty much your typical auto zone. Customer service that isn’t great, but isn’t bad. Workers who don’t acknowledge you and seem like they don’t want to be there. While the guy was ringing up my purchase tonight, he only asked me what he needed to, while carrying on a conversation with his coworker about how much longer he had until he got to leave. And the coworker was having his lunch on the front counter. They don’t have a separate place to eat? How unprofessional is that to eat food where businesses is conducted instead of in an employee area where customer don’t have to watch you eat and see food fall out your mouth?!
I walked into the store and some large manager was yelling at an employee like he was some kind of slave
Helpful staff. Quickly got in and got out with what I needed. Every mans perfect shopping experience.
Stopped in to quickly buy some wiper blades. Couldnt find a book to look up the sizes I needed, but clerk was quick to notice and looked it up. He also went out to my car to double check. Prices are more than on Amazon, but then again I needed them right away and got reassurance that they would fit. There was also a rebate that was easy to fill out on their website.
Store Associate Brendon H. was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, very friendly, and was determined to get us the right part best customer service I’ve had definitely will be coming back.
I would give zero stars if I could. This morning, I experienced the most reprehensible lack of customer service and common courtesy at this location, in addition to a complete absence of technical skills. I went to buy a new battery for my vehicle, as it had died overnight and would no longer hold a charge, even after being jumped. The manager of the store, Tom, without even checking under the hood, said they would not be able to change out the battery. When I asked him to take a look at the battery before making that decision, he reluctantly agreed. After struggling to unlatch and raise the hood, he took one glance, shook his head and claimed there are too many wires and that it was too complicated. I explained to him that the vehicle is sitting dead in their parking lot and that I needed some sort of assistance. His response: Theres an Exxon up the road. They can jump you. and walked away. I ended up calling a neighbor, who is not an auto mechanic, and they were able to come by with their own tools, and replace the old battery for a new one, in less than 10 minutes. I will never give my business to this store again, as their manager is devoid of any level of competency and customer care, with skills that max out at replacing wiper blades.
I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. I came today because an Ebay seller sold me the wrong oxygen sensor for my car. This store said it had it in stock. I went to the store and asked them for the part. I was quoted $183 online but they were asking for $505 in the store. I asked why since the online price was significantly lower, this seemed like price gouging to me. The associate told me to order it online for pickup and they would get it for me. I ordered it for pickup like they asked and they said they werent going to go get it and it probably would be there tomorrow. I asked why because it said it was in stock and said pick up by 7pm. They would not give me a clear answer so I left. Low and behold I get home and about 5 minutes later I get an email its ready for pickup. I went back to get it and they wouldnt even apologize for the situation. I would highly advise everyone to stay away from this joke of a store. Ive never had issues with the Gambrills location on route 3 and they dont price gouge.
They carry more of a variety of more obscure parts that other parts stores dont. E.g.: caliper bracket bolts where a lot of times you have to buy the brackets as well in order to get them. Good selection of tools.
Terrible store bad customer service. When I was in the store parts sales manager was on his personal phone. When he was supposed to be ringing me up I had to wait until he got off the phone for him to ring my stuff up
Great selection and helpful associates. They also take used motor oil onsite (ask & they escort you to the back for dumping). Unless its for a rare car or really uncommon part, they should have or be able to get it, for a good price.
I expected a crummy experience at Autozone Severna Park, BUT I was delighted by my experience yesterday when i stopped to get a new battery! Staff was efficient, helpful, and installed my new battery in minutes, getting me back on the road swiftly. I never even touched my purchase, OR the old battery. While working on my battery, the staffperson was energetically helping three other customers in the parking lot with a wide variety of auto issues - from paint color matching to an electrical problem. Many thanks for a great experience!
AT first felt like there are not that much into really helping. But the second dude I talked to was a completely different story. Helped and shared his knowledge.
The ability to locate the product we needed thanks to the manual to serve yourself had my son & I in & out of the store in no time.
Could use some work some are great in knowledge others not so much they just want to make the sale and that was the manager was not happy that I had to return the part
Staff was good, missing everything I needed for an oil change, even though the website said it was all there. Manager couldnt figure out the current deal on filter/oil deal. Overcharged me $10.
After going to the Infinity dealer and given an estimate of over $5000 to fix different things, the sales associate helped me cut costs dramatically! We also found out that Infinity was telling me it needed things that could have ruined my engine!!! I highly recommend AutoZone in Severna Park.
Well I order 2 parts. called make sure both where in. they said yes when I arrived only 1 part. now I have to wait till next day or pretty much get my money back.
We rolled up with three grumpy kids after a morning that ended being stranded on the road due to a bad battery. David T. Took care of us by first checking the battery, verifying it was under warranty, cleaning the battery compartment and connections, replacing the battery, then checking the starter and alternator. I was hands off and he did everything. Best thing to happen to us all week. Thank you David, you’ve earned customers for life.
It is nice to have close for convenience but other than that I think the prices are a bit high. Also they dont usually have what you need. I feel like its always under staffed because it take forever to get in and out here. The employees are in no rush to stop and help you.
Knowledgeable staff, great customer service and they always have what I need!
I bought my wipers and the gentleman put them on for me. I was very pleased with my service.
The young man at Auto Zone was very helpful. He helped me replace both my front headlights after he checked the fuses for me. Wonderful customer service! Ill be a returning customer. Thank you!
Dude was awesome man, installed my battery for me and tested everything. I would definitely go back here.
Place was ok. Most of the employees seemed to be helpful and polite. The one that helped me acted like I was a bother and he didnt want to be there. He rang me up and then kinda just threw my receipt on the counter. He was very rude. This was the AutoZone in Severna Park.
Nice people
Friendly, quick, gave me great advice on changing my plugs. Recommended anti-seize which I would have completely forgotten. 20 stars!!
Windshield washer fluid, lol!
Very helpful
Was pretty good pay gave me the right piece
They had the part I needed, then proceeded to tell me I had picked the wrong size for my car, checked the computer and walked back only to pull out the exact same part I had selected. If you havent been treated like you are an idiot for being a woman, definitly shop here. You will get the full experience. 2 stars is only because they had the part I needed.
Decent store. Friendly staff that seem like they want to help. Clean and well stocked.
Helpful, friendly and had everything I needed in stock.
The service here is terrible, someone was rude to me last week and decided to give this place another Chance because I understand that sometime people have bad days but still the same ! No one wants to help, all the employees are rude and ever was standing around not doing anything !
Tom in AutoZone did good job thank you AutoZone for having Tom working on AutoZone
They advertise free diagnostics test then say there test equipment is broken. They actually said to try the location on Mountain road. Better off trying another auto parts store.
Finally got some people who are not ignorant working there.
Great very helpful and knowledgeable about parts.
I called up asking if they had a part in stock, they said they did. I walked into the store 15 minutes later to buy it and they didnt have one in stock. The guy didnt even walk back to check, he just assumed they had one.
The guy working there was friendly, quick with checking the diagnostics of my car.
Opened late, didnt say anything to me when I walked in, rude. I would rather drive 30 min then go to this place 5 min from my house.
I always come here for my moped fluids and the staff always find me the right stuff asap. The prices are really low, or at least I think. For SAE 90-W Motorcycle oil it cost about $3.00.
Brent Murrell AutoZone would someone at corporate please come and either shut this place down or at the very least do a complete audit of all of the employees. There are 2 managers that I can think of that are super competent (youngest guys there). Everyone else needs to be reviewed and replaced. Just yesterday there were 4 employees (2 of which were managers) standing around outside not helping anyone. That left poor Theo (god help his soul) just about the rudest, most incompetent employee alone to man the register. Meanwhile there was a line of 4-5 people behind me. This guy mind you was the same dude who not even a week before was on his cell phone with his ear phones in pretending to help people. That same night he told me that they were completely out of stock on some brake rotors I needed. Both their store inventory and the website said they had 8 in stock. Fortunately one of the quality managers (name escapes me, young dude with blue eyes) tried to find them and...shocker they had all 8 in stock. Maybe the employee couldnt read, who knows. Either way he should be terminated.Next, they have this one manager (recently promoted) tall balding, kinda doofy looking guy. He is something else...last week he was arguing with a fellow associate right in front of me. Not only that on at least 5 occasions, when Ive walked in and hes leaning on the counter, counting ceiling tiles. Ive walked up to the counter and he says, someone will be with you shortly. To which my reply is, can you help?, and sure enough, he is busy...Finally, Barb and Christina. Any time I call in to the store and either of you answer, I get the same response. After giving you the year, make, and model of the vehicle Im servicing you ask me to hold. Normal hold times are upward of 10 minutes. So much time in fact that I had enough time to drive to the store while on hold, walk in, only to find people standing around watching the phone ring. This is infuriating. How can you be part of the autozone brand with this form of service...unbelievable.
Had what I needed great service for what theyre paid👍
I refuse to step foot back in this store . . . however yesterday afternoon my daughter needed a headlight for her car before heading back to college. She and her boyfriend went to the Auto Zone in Severna Park. Her boyfriend said - theyll find the right headlight for you - Auto Zone is great. My daughter replied, You havent been to this Auto Zone - watch them ignore us. We laughed last night at dinner as the boyfriend recounted my daughters narrative of what will happen next at the Auto Zone. First theyll ignore you, then when you ask a question they wont be helpful, then if they cant find the answer easily they will tell you to go pop the hood of your car and figure it out yourself or Google it. This is exactly what happened. Next time she will drive back to Salisbury and go to the Auto Zone on Route 13 - best service at Auto Zone weve ever had! Apparently in Salisbury with 2 people running a store - they can provide infinitely better service.
Good service with knowledgeable helpful staff.
The lady that helped me in the snow was awesome.
Good clean store, like many auto part stores, slow service.
Worst customer service Ive seen anywhere in a long time. Ive been there twice. The first time the cashier chatted at length with a customer who had already finished their transaction while I stood in line, then didnt mention it when I got to the counter. The second time I walked up to the counter and greeted the cashier, who ignored me. He said this it? I said yeah and then he handed me my bag and walked away without a word. They get an F for dealing with customers in a way that doesnt make them feel valued or welcome. Ill be taking my business elsewhere next time, despite having to drive farther.
I have had problems in the past with not so pleasant staff, but BRIAN is the best and his customer service gets 5 stars... Appreciate you.
Friendly people good price.
Staff has always been helpful whenever I go in
It took the assistant manager a long time to find a lightbulb for my car in the computer database. Then he sent me off to aisle 1 where there were hundreds of bulbs - but not mine that I could find. But I didnt have any help at all so just left. Will never go back.
Great service and good selection.
Rude, dismissive. I had a part that had come in from another store and it was right behind the counter. Had to wait 20 minutes almost to get it. Only one guy behind counter for 15 minutes and he pointedly ignored us.Will not go back.
Wow must be the worse Autozone in history. Rude staff that dont have a clue. I had 5 terrible experiences now I go to mountain rd store. Better off going to any other Autozone.
The help dont know much about vehicles so I need to know what I need when there
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff
