It is 11am on a Monday, and this location is closed. I called the corporate number and they don’t know why they are closed either, all they did was send my call to another store that was open. Doesn’t really help me that much as my job I am currently on is right down the road from this location. And sadly this wouldn’t be the first time this has happened at this location, and there other ones before.

My husband and I have been doing business with Ohio Mulch for eighteen years, our residential and commercial customers love the color choices of mulch, rocks, and landscaping stones they offer.I wouldnt shop any other place!

Price changes every time I go in, must be short on help always because there is usually no one in the office... unfortunately its a convenient location so I keep coming back... It would be great if they were more professionally ran. Must be a reason they can’t find help.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Spend your hard earned cash elsewhere. Buyer BEWARE- they do not accept returns, even after Ron Frost from corporate said they should. The manager never returned my calls.I had mulch and compost delivered and tried to return excess mulch bags two days later, as the scope of the project had shrunk. They refused to refund my money even though they had delivered them two days before and it had been dry weather the whole week. I gave them back the bags anyway because I did not need them.The delivery was poor too! The mulch bags were ripped, the compost was in a mis-lableled bag (I had to call to ask because there was no communication and the manager lied saying she had done the delivery, even though I talked to the driver who was a man) and they were spread out on two broken up pallets, though they would have easily fit on one.

I came in because I received an email that advertised 20 bags of mulch for $ 20. I intended to buy 40 bags. I typically wouldnt drive this far to get mulch, but the reduced price seemed to make this a great option. I approached the counter and the person who was working was laid back looking at his phone. Eventually he asked what I was there for. I explained I wanted to get the 20 bags of mulch for $20 as advertised in an email I had received and possibly get 40 bags. He said that this didnt sound right and that it must have been at another location. I explained that the email wasnt store specific, but he said he would have to see the email. I had deleted the email not thinking I would have to prove to the company that generated the ad that it was valid. This gentleman was being assisted by a rather aggressive associate who asked me 4 times if I wanted help loading. I decided that I would buy 30 bags at the standard price since I had already driven 20 minutes out of my way to get this mulch. No thank you for your business, no sorry we couldnt find the coupon ( or an attempt to look it up or call a manager to confirm) only the same aggressive associate who wanted to load my mulch standing next to me waiting. Since he kept stressing that he wanted to load the van I accepted. I had the back of my van lined with a large tarp to prevent any dirt or moisture from getting on any fabric inside of my van. This associate told me he knew the best way to load and climbed in the van without asking and began throwing the bags toward the front of the van. After we had loaded about half of the bags I checked and noticed that he had the bags of mulch hanging well past the tarp and moisture was dripping all over my van. I then moved all of the bags back out and restacked. This employee offered an apology at this point, but the damage was done. Here we are three weeks later and my van still smells like mulch. The icing on the cake is that I still get the emails showing 20 bags for $20. I will never be back. Lesson learned.

Helpful staff and everything needed for your lawn...gravel, rocks of all sorts, mulch of all sorts, garden hoses, flower pots, pea gravel.

Got what we came for at a decent price. Folks working were helpful; need to be more attentive. Had to repeat four times what we needed.

Just absolutely the worst experience ever. Ordered mulch to be delivered a week ahead of time and my card was charged the time of the order. Come the day of the delivery around 2 no mulch so I call and check. They confirm it is on the truck and will come. No mulch. Call the next day and they said they called the driver, he had the mulch on the truck and would come for sure today. No delivery. Called a third day told the whole story. I made sure they had the address and phone number right. Told them to call me if any issues. No delivery. 4th day ordered mulch somewhere else and got it same day. Called for a refund. Person who answered the call said they are in Columbus and transferred me to the local office. No answer left a message for a refund. No call back. Responded to [email protected] which is where I got my receipt from asking for a refund. No reply. 3 days later, one week after mulch was to be delivered, called again, again told I did not reach the local office and they would transfer me. No answer. Left a message. No reply. Went to the website and emailed the [email protected] address on the site asking for a refund. 1 week later. No reply. 2 weeks 2 days after mulch was to be delivered called again. Got another person not in Cincinnati. Asked to speak to a manager. Was told they do not do that. I told the whole story and he said they have no managers available but he could transfer me to the Sharoville store, he did. No answer. I mean just the most incompetent organization ever.

Ive ordered 25 yards of mulch in the past 2 weeks and I am highly disappointed with the customer service of this company. My first delivery of 10 yards went well with no issues. After a week of mulching, it was time to reorder and so I ordered another 10 yards.When the delivery person showed up and dumped the load, it was obviously much smaller than the last one even though they were both supposed to be 10 yards. The delivery driver and myself both thought it looked about half as big as the pile from the last delivery of 10 yards. He said he would let them know it looked to be 5 yards short.I then got a call from a manager (Brandon) saying they would need to verify and to send a photo. Not thinking it through and in a rush, I sent them a photo thinking thats all that would be needed. Brandon later comes back and claims that judging by the photo, it looks to be 7 yards and theyll only send me an additional 3. They claimed that 2-3 experts each gave an estimate based on the photo and each of them came back somewhere between 7 and 10 yards.In hindsight, I should have made them come in person to judge, but I wasnt even aware that they would argue with their own driver. They claim that maybe they delivered extra by mistake the first delivery.Ill never be able to know what was correct, but its disappointing that there are this big of discrepancies between measurements. Additionally, I would NEVER recommend sending any photos to them to verify size of delivery. Make them verify in person for any disputes.I plan to choose another mulch provider in the future. Theyve lost a lot of trust with me and dont seem to be concerned with making this right for a customer who has spent a good deal of money with them and was planning to do so in the future.

Very over priced & poor customer service compared to other local places. But right down the street from an account I was mulching at so it was more convenient so I thought. Paid for 2 yards of mulch, no other customers there at the time. After waiting for 15 minutes to be loaded up, I waked back in to the office and asked if someone could get me loaded. Young guy had a bad attitude towards me for asking.

I ordered 3 tons limestone - the stone is beautiful — but my overall experience wasn’t good. I won’t be ordering from here again.1. I ordered online - but that means there is no phone number to call to see what time (and if) they are coming. They only have an email address - and they never replied to me..2. When they deliver, they won’t pull their truck off the main road - so your load is just dumped at the end of your property. This means they won’t drag it, either..3. When they showed up around 5 pm, they only had 1.5 yards — which is only half of what I ordered. The guy on the truck tried to tell me I wasn’t losing any money.. until I pulled up my email confirmation showing him what I actually ordered. He did go get the other half and bring it right back to us - but wouldn’t have if I hadn’t had a copy of my confirmation.Online you order by the ton - but they deliver by the yard. The whole experience just seemed kinda strange and not right.

I ordered soil and mulch. They said it would be delivered on Saturday they never called, I called and emailed no response. I finally got a hold of someone Sunday and they sent me to three different people before Barry told me they 4 days behind. Terrible customer service. I canceled and got another company to deliver cheaper the same day. Stay away from Ohio mulch!

Didnt deliver on scheduled day. I called them at first they said it was already delivered. Then a manager called and said their truck broke Dow and will deliver next day. They STILL didnt come the next day. I called them again and they didnt seem to care at all. Horrible service!!!

I love this place! They have all different types of mulch. No reason to go anywhere else. The employees are very helpful and polite. They know their business. They will help load your vehicle with you.

I’ve been ordering from Ohio Mulch for the past 6 years. I’ve always had a great experience- the only reason I’ll still give them a 2 star rating. I ordered 85 bags of mulch for delivery on April 1st. They delivered only 25 bags on April 2nd. Today is the 17th... and I still don’t have my remaining bags of mulch. I have called twice, the first call essentially was ignored and forgotten. The second call, I was told it would be delivered that day- and I would be contacted if that was not going to happen. I have received no phone call... and still have no mulch. To add, I paid $99 for delivery. Needless to say- I’m beyond frustrated and plan to make my third follow up call tomorrow. The product is great- service has been terrible this year.

This location is horrible.. I ordered some rocks and mulch, and set up a delivery for a certain day! They did call me or answer their phones for 2 days. Horrible.. There phone calls was being fowarded to other locations,which could care less... Finally i went to the location early sunday morning, because they still wasnt ananswering there phone. I asked for the manger.. He told me the 6 delivery trucks are broke down, and we are busy in store. . So the Owner told him to stop answering the phone... Because they couldnt provide the delivery service that they offered to people at this time, this is the worst customer service incident ever. I even received the owners number.. He didnt answer either. I have called there 800 number. I wonder if they will call back..
