I have gotten the best service here, out of any store that I have gone to. I got some really cool glasses here as well! Sheryl (I think that was her name) helped me so much throughout the process of getting my glasses. They ended up taking a little longer than normal since my glasses are somewhat unique and it was the first time that they had made them. They updated me every step of the way, and have helped me get them adjusted twice now. The service is quick and everyone working there is so friendly and helpful. They know a lot about eyewear, and if you are looking for a new place to go you should really consider Wisconsin Vision.
I have tried a number of different eye doctors. Wisconsin Vision Shorewood is by far the best establishment Ive been to. From the time you take the first step in the door, til the time you leave, the staff and doctor make you feel so comfortable and welcomed. Dr. Din makes you feel very comfortable, not just a number.I went for contact orientation today, Christopher and Deb were so terrific to work with. I highly recommend this facility.
Stephanie is your Optician! I came in looking for a professional looking pair and she helped me find it. She told me the truth, didnt try to upsell me, and we had fun doing it. She also helped me find the best deal for my eyeglasses. She is very educated and passionate about her job. She was very personable, too. Highly recommend!!!!!!! The whole staff is great! The place is beautiful and filled with lots of variety of frames, too!
I have always hated having to go to eyeglasses/vision places - especially since I don’t need glasses, but always seem to be accompanying a relative, husband or kids there. They always feel pushy and like they are trying to confuse you in order to up their sales. That was NOT the case at Wisconsin Vision! We had a remarkably positive experience when I brought my step-daughter their for the first time. They were extremely friendly and courteous without being too pushy. My entire family will be going there from now on and I recommend others try them as well.
They were very nice and helped me figure out my insurance.
Looking for new glasses & Miles found just the pair I wanted. Great service. Thanks Miles & see you soon.
Ive been here a few times and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I felt really comfortable and appreciated all the help from the staff members! :)
Excellent customer service. The staff here are friendly, patient, and well informed. I had a difficult time with my contacts and the service was so thorough. Nice high end frame selection too.
Quick and efficient, the Oakland location is top notch. Their optometrist is fantastic. As for that 1 Star review posted here, perhaps you should’ve checked your own insurance? My rep went through all of my options and how much everything would cost with and without insurance. Highly recommend!
Great, attentive customer service. Gave me plenty of time to look around on my own, and were right there when I needed help. Nice selection of frames. Would recommend.
I went in 2 weeks ago for an appointment that I scheduled online. When I got there I was informed by a wannabe pinup model that I did not have an appointment and that I would not be seen. I explained that I did have an appointment and then I was told that making an appointment online is only a request and that requests turn into appointments only if you receive a confirmation call. I was told that I must have not submitted the request properly even though after I submitted it the screen said thank you for your submission. I asked if another location could fit me in so the aspiring Eleanor Roosevelt called one location and then told me that all of Wisconsin was booked up for the day. I then asked the pinup model if she was going to tell her manager that the website doesnt work and she said that she already did and that the company just wont fix the website. Then I told her that I wont be back and that I was going to go somewhere else and she informed me that she would tell the IT guy and that she knew his name. Luckily I went down the street to VisionWorks where the manager herself helped me pick out my glasses and made me feel at home.
Best customer service I’ve had at a Wisconsin vision! Jane was extremely helpful and professional, even with running the store by herself with multiple customers. She was so polite and efficient!
I will not be going back to Wisconsin Vision (this location or others) for two reasons:1) Though I verified with my insurance company that Wisconsin Vision accepts my insurance, I didnt check thoroughly enough with Wisconsin Vision. The insurance I carry was not taken and I had to pay out of pocket when my annual eye exam should have been fully covered.2) The doctor made a clerical error when writing down my prescription. I used this prescription to purchase glasses from a different retailer; I found out weeks after my eye exam when my glasses arrived that the prescription the doctor wrote down was wildly different from what I needed and the glasses I purchased were completely unusable. I needed to make time for a second eye exam and reorder my glasses with the correct lenses. As I said, I will not be going back to Wisconsin Vision and do not recommend the chain to friends and family.
Make sure you double check with your insurance company separately if you are eligible for a vision exam because when I called and scheduled an appointment, they said my eligibility was a few days earlier than it really was and I had to pay out of pocket. The doctor was great and I was interested in getting glasses there, but they didnt really provide the best customer service after this mistake.
Helpful service, great selection and speedy turnaround for glasses. Eye recommend, even if I couldnt sneak in a pun.
Walmart of EyeglassesWisconsin Vision is more affordable than the independent eyeglass shops but you get what you pay for. While the frames can be super cute, the quality of the crafting of their lenses leaves much (so much) to be desired.I purchased two frames and had them put prescription lenses in. I added the no smudge coating and the anti glare coating. Both of these additions I received for my glasses from Optiks 10 years ago and it was wonderful, especially for wearing them during night driving. However, I learned that the quality of these add-ons varies greatly from place to place. The anti glare coating is so poor quality I was convinced that they forgot to add it. It turns out that my lenses do have the signature hologram marking showing that it was added but...yeah, not great if its on there and I see absolutely no different when they are on or not. One of my glasses has a slight bend where the arm of the frame meets the lenses. I didnt notice until after I left the store (I believe they were bent when the associate put them in my eyeglass case, as I didnt wear them out of the store) so now they cant prove it wasnt me who bent them. I also have never had a pair of glasses smudge so much in my life.I dont know how I spent $500 on glasses and still be so unsatisfied. VERY poor craftsmanship on the lenses. Im writing this review using my 10 year old glasses from Optiks. Go there if you really love flushing your money down the toilet or the best glasses youve ever had were from the carousel at Walgreens, these MIGHT be a step up from that for $200 extra dollars per pair.
Such a wonderful experience!
