I live nearby this store but hadnt been yet. I needed some chlorine tablets so I decided to stop by. When I walked in there were three women working and one asked what I was looking for. I told her and just then another women abruptly asked me if I had shopped there before. I said no at which point she explained that they only sell those tablets to existing customers and that if I wanted to buy those I would have to buy other chemicals as well. I might have purchased some other stuff anyway, but the rudeness with which I was asked made me say no thanks. You must not need my money, so I will take it elsewhere. Hard to believe this place is even in business. New business not welcome.

I went to the Shorewood store this morning and Julia assisted me with testing our pool water to a number of questions that she answered in a very professional manner. Julia was so very helpful that I wanted others to know. She explained in detail what chemicals we needed to better balance our pool to equipment questions that we may be purchasing in the future. Let me start this review by saying 5 stars isnt enough! We had BYP install our beautiful in-ground pool 16 years ago and have been completely satisfied since. We purchase our chemicals and any equipment necessary from them and their staff and service is second to none! Their prices are reasonable and we appreciate the expertise and knowledge of their entire staff to help guide us on attaining the highest quality water for our family and guests. This is a perfect example of a family owned and operated business as they truly care about their customers and strive to exceed expectations. Mallory in the Shorewood store has been my primary contact for many years and is absolutely a pleasure to work with and the staff she has in place is highly trained and capable of handling any challenge or issue that may arise. We couldnt ask for a more professional, friendly, pool/service company to work with and wed highly recommend them to anyone looking to own a new pool and/or purchase equipment and/or chemicals from...theyre wonderful!

On a few separate occasions we have needed a part that we have priced online and ultimately purchased it here for cheaper than amazon. We also use them to close our pool every year and Eddie is one of the most personable people I have ever dealt with. They are all great!

The DesRochers team has been closing my in-ground fiberglass pool for over 8 years. With only one exception which they made 100% right after it happened they have done a tremendous job. I see the team one time a year, yet when at my house they call me by my first name as if Id only seen them last week. Some of the best customer service in Will County. Others in the area could learn to respect the customer the same way.

We are new to having a pool. They were able to help us get our water diagnosed and gave us the proper adjustments. Everyone there is helpful and willing to give advice on how to ensure the pool stays at the right levels. Prices are fair and chemicals are great quality.

Purchased a home with an inground pool that needed a lot of work. I relied on the DesRochers staff to tell me what I needed to bring the pool back from the dead. This Summer its looking and operating like its brand new! They make pool ownership....EASY!

Great service.....our pool was built by a competitor because we were not able to get on DesRochers list before the end of the year and they were booked. DesRocher was kind enough to fix the problem with the heater having been installed incorrectly and they do a great job on our pool closings and openings. Highly recommend these professionals.

Backyard Pools installed our pool 13 years ago and have helped us maintain it every season since. We mainly use the Shorewood store and Mallory has ALWAYS been able to answer our questions and fix our problems. They are a great company and everyones been great to work with.

Our pool was not built to agreed specifications. The quality of the materials used was very poor. Attempts to request for deficiencies to be corrected were ignored. Verbal agreements made with the owner were never made good on by the owner, Mike. I would never recomend them to anyone for any pool installation. I am surprised they are still in business.
