I will rate Champion Homes & their product at a 4.5. We (mostly) love our new home. There are a couple things, like our sink is plastic?? Its already stained and melted (1st time we threw a hot pan in it) and looks awful. Had I been told it was plastic I would have gotten the stainless one.The only other complaint I have is that at least a couple times during the process materials were discontinued or recalled & I had to go back in & rechoose flooring & cabinet colors. This might be common across the industry, Im not sure, but it was frustrating.I do feel the price was a good value for what we got from Champion. Better than other brands in the area & it was ready in 1/2 the time of other makers.Delivery was a breeze even though we live out in the country. Those drivers were amazing!!As far as QH, Ive givem a 2 because they are very frustrating to work with.If I am spending over 100 grand I expect excellent customer service. When we 1st went in they were very helpful. Once we began the process and they found out we were doing much of the prep work ourselves (such as plumbing, and electrical on brand new land) instead of paying them to do it, they had a hard time answering questions. They dont know county permit policys, they couldnt tell me what size fridge I was supposed to get (because I didnt buy their appliance package) and many other small issues, some larger.Their set up crew took 5 or 6 days to finish instead of the promised 2. They didnt show up any day before 11am and often left by 5.They set the supports in the wrong place causing the guy who laid out stem wall to have to redig the footings and charging me an extra $1000. QH graciously agreed to pay for part of it after calling me a liar and saying my wall guy didnt know what he was taking about. The office manager was very helpful picking out the counters, paint floors etc, and recommendations about value for money (like not getting a metal roof from Champion because it cots 3x as much as aftermarket) and we are really happy about our choices, but thats about where her knowledge ended. They both claim to have been in the business for years...decades, but seem to know very little when it comes down to it.They were also supposed to get the permits for the house, but we ended up having to do it ourselves. The owner will reply to say that we are combative and rude. This process was so frustrating and we were very angry at many points. We lost our cool several times.I wont deny it.Our response may have been excessive at times, but we gave them many chances to help us and improve our opinion, instead it continued to deteriorate.I will recommend them simply because they are the only Champion dealer in the area. Thats why they get a 2 instead of a 1.Just dont expect a lot.
Better than many site built homes. Nice kitchen but costly when its all done and said
Friendly folks and not aftaud to give great advice.
Why is this place so expensive?? You can buy Home from Phoenix for way less even after tax and delivery 😡🤔
