Very cool design looking shop met with the manager today and he is straight forward, and understanding of his job and what he needs from his employees and someone I could see myself working for. The staff was also friendly as they greeted me when I walked in.
Bought a new car, second one from Patrick Subaru! They work with you to get the deal done. John Watt is an excellent salesman and great guy. This is the second car we bought with him and I highly recommend asking for him the next time you are over there. ***August 31st update!! Picking up our new car today! Very excited 🙃
Horrible dealership. They d like to ensure to finance with them to buy a car or they wont sell their overpriced cars.Any dealership that follows this practice should be banned. A customer should be able to get a loan from they get the better rates. They are already making good money on the cars given the market. In addition, they would like to stick it to their customers in the form of high APR.
Leasing our vehicle from this dealership was no problem and the service department had been great up until maybe a year ago. On multiple occasions my wife has taken her Crosstrek in for routine service (oil change and tire rotation) with a scheduled appointment only to have to have to wait hours on end for the service to be performed. Today she had a 0930 appointment, its almost 1130 and she is still there. This should be a 45 minute job 1 hour max. On other occasions she was there for more than 2-3 hours for the same service. I can appreciate that a place might be short staffed but if that is the case adjust your workload and plan accordingly or at the least inform your customers that their day is going to need to be readjusted because they will be waiting hours on end for an oil change.
Worked with Mike Berkowicz on getting a used car. He was responsive, detail oriented and pleasant to deal with. The overall experience was awesome. Thanks for making it easy.
Very happy with the service I was given. Very prompt and the Rep I had did not leave me in the dark about the details of my repair. I even got a chance to talk to the mechanic taking care of my car. I will certainly be returning here.
Stay away!!!!Worst experience EVER.Vehicle is Toyota RAV4 2017 with 77.000 miles listed for $22,990 on their website.Today I went there, check it, and when it all was said and done, the salesman raised the price at $25,000 including taxes and MUST be financed through their finance department. Otherwise no deal.WAY OVER MSRP AND NADA BOOK VALUE!!!WALK AWAY!!!Would NOT recommend this place to ANYBODY.
We just leased this beautiful Forester Limited thanks to the amazing assistance of Paul and Isaac. We did a lot of research and visited countless dealerships in the area. We decided on Subaru based on the quality of the product and the customer service provided. Visit Patrick Subaru and ask for Paul. You will NOT be disappointed!
Joe at Patrick Subaru was great. Explained everything in detail and help us perfectly!
Made online appointment for 8:30. Oil change and tire rotation while I wait. 2.5 hours later I am still waiting for my vehicle. Several people came in after me and are out before me. SERIOUSLY?
Patrick Subaru double charged my wife’s Visa Debit card for the same service (same day identical charges). Unfortunately, this wasn’t a small charge (exceeding $500) and was noticed almost immediately when reviewing our bank account. After visiting the service department the next day with supporting documentation of the double charge, we were advised to bring it up with out back directly, as they confirmed my wife was charged only once for the service. After reviewing with our bank and some transaction history gathered by the bank and VISA, Patrick Subaru in fact charged my wife twice for the same service. Fortunately, this double charge was corrected by the bank returning the funds to our account. We have no intentions of returning to this dealership for any future service or purchases. We purchased our Subaru Legacy from this location and unfortunately lack the confidence to return. Nice work Patrick Subaru, you have lost a customer for life and many of our family who also own Subaru cars. There are too many reputable Subaru dealerships who don’t double charge customer’s cards. Excellent work!!
Overall good experience. Everyone was friendly and I got the vehicle I wanted. The only issues I had were related to communication. In trying to reschedule an appointment to pick up my vehicle I called/emailed several times with no response. When I did finally get someone, I was told Id get a call back to confirm the appointment change but never heard back.I also called after purchasing my vehicle to change my warranty coverage - again I was told Id get a call right back and never heard back. I finally got in touch with someone ~4 days later after calling them again. It all worked out in the end, I just wish the communication had been more streamlined.
I found Patrick Subaru on line. I decided to give it a shot as the majority of the sales reviews were favorable. Cristian was very helpful, no pressure at all. I am happy with my purchase.I was impressed that all the showroom employees had masks on and were wearing them correctly! Each customer service station at antibacterial hand sanitizer and hospital grade cleaning disinfectant.
Patrick Subaru has amazing customer service! They were all very knowledgeable and accommodating. 👍👍👍
Great place, right from my first internet request they were very responsive and polite, couldnt be happier I would highly recommend them! My fingers are crossed for more yellow cars :)
Called in the morning to confirm that the 2 Mustangs that I wanted to test drive were there. I drove over an hour to get there to find out that one of the employees had taken the mustang home and he had the day off. Very disappointing as I had confirmed that the two cars I wanted to see were not there.
Always well taken care of here.
I feel like I should give more details given the response below. I have always been following the recommended schedule and my car was working perfectly. The car maintenance schedule published by Subaru for the mileage of the car recommended the minor service that typically cost $60-70. The advisor showed me a page with several items that are not on the recommended list in the car manual for the car mileage while claiming they are recommended by Subaru. I was surprise in the discrepancy between the recommended published maintenance in my manual and the cost of the service that was on the sheet which was $200, not $60, but I went with it as I wanted to follow the recommendation. As it turns out some items are just added by Patrick Subaru. (I called SOA and they told me items on the list are not on the recommended schedule for my car at this mileage)In fact, the sheet presented by the advisor at the counter has a footnote (half of it is unreadable because it’s outside of the printing area) saying the maintenance listed on the sheet may or may not be recommended by Subaru and is at the discretion of the dealership so they conveniently add things up and inflate the maintenance cost for a regular minor service. They are the shadiest car dealer I have ever been to, regardless of the brand, and I you sit in the waiting room you won’t wait long to hear someone else complain about their service.
Manager is good and polite but the one I spoke to is arrogant and rude. He just wanted me to buy their expensive vehicle to clear their inventory. He asked me to leave the showroom when I said I don’t want to spend extra bucks on the vehicle which I’m not interested.
This is now my second Subaru vehicle purchase that I have made with Patrick Subaru. This dealership is quite the hike from my house (~1.5 hours) but I am always happy to make the journey because Patrick Subaru always treats me right! Al is fantastic to work with -- I know that he truly cares about all of his customers. Both purchases have been painless and he has always worked with me remotely on the deal so that I only would have to come visit the dealer to take delivery. I like that Al checked in with me over the life of my 2016 Crostrek, and when I was ready to turn that lease in for a 2019 Forester Sport he was right there to help me with that purchase. Patrick Subaru goes above and beyond to offer fantastic customer service, fair prices, and a painless sales process. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in Massachusetts looking for a Subaru.
My husband and I came in to the dealership on a Sunday knowing that we needed a larger car for our family, but not 100% certain on which of the Ascents may be best for our budget and needs. John was extremely helpful, informative, and enjoyable to work with through the process. We were able to identify a great car (on the lot) that day and pick it up the next night. Were very happy with our purchase and would recommend this car and dealership to anyone.
Great online scheduling tool. Great personal service, they let me know what to be concerned about, but arent pushy.
Patrick Subaru is rated well and for a good reason. I have purchased two Subarus from this dealership and have had great experiences both times (one used and one new). Shout-out to Chris and his team in service. I had a rattling coming from the muffler and they went above and beyond to diagnosis and resolve the problem. Although there was a hiccup with getting the replacement part delivered (probably covid-related) Chris did an excellent job keeping me informed on the situation. Im not normally one to write reviews but felt that their exceptional service warranted one.
I brought my 2017 Forester in for a recall repair on the A/C condenser. While I was there I opted to have my engine oil & filter changed, soduring your vehicle inspection your mechanics checked brakes, cabinfilter, and engine air filter. The engine filter compartment was found tohave nesting material from probably mice. The inspection found that both air filterswere in need of replacement for a cost of about $155. I knew I could replaceboth filters for much less, as I did for $31. I told you not to replace themwhich you didnt. What I cant understand is, when your mechanic checkedthe engine air filter and found nesting material why didnt he remove thenesting material before replacing the filter cover, I guess Patrick Subaru has their limits as to how far theywill go for their customers. This past recall service appointment with Patrick Subaruspoke volumes about your dealership.
These people are amazing. I bought a used car from them 6 months ago and they stepped up and stood behind their product. They gave me a brand new courtesy car for as long as it took them to resolve the issue. This is the beat car buying experience I have ever had. If you are looking to buy a car from them - look no further.
Great sales team. Made purchasing a used car virtually painless. I appreciate the fact that they explained everything clearly for a novice car buyer so I felt like I was making a confident decision. Absolutely recommend anyone in the market to talk with them.
Buying a car can be so frustrating and stressful! So much money and so many important decisions to make, its scary! I have to say all those fears and uncertainties were none existent with my experience at Patrick Subaru. Paul and the whole team there were so kind, knowledgeable and transparent with me about the whole process. They answered all my multiple mundane and repetitive questions as I navigated my way through all the options; from the perfect car, to the leasing options and the extra warrantees. Paul was my point of contact, he was beyond responsive, answering my questions even on his days off. Thank you to Paul and the whole team at Patrick Subaru, I absolutely LOVE my new car and I couldnt have done it without you all!
Great place. Kind people.
Wouldnt even give me a price on a car without giving my information to them. I suggest looking elsewhere.
I am extremely disappointed that your sales department would schedule an appointment with a customer to test drive a vehicle that you don’t even have in stock! I wasted my Saturday off driving over an hour to your dealership just to be told we don’t have that vehicle. I had filled out all the financial forms online prior to the appointment so it also effected my credit score! Very unprofessional!!!!
We went to purchase a car from this store. Special shout out to Mike who was great and helped us with explaining and test driving the car. Mike was very kind and polite and he stayed late after the hours for us to explain about the car. He genuinely tried to help us negotiate with the manager. But we found that the prices they quote changed according to which manager was in charge for the day. Nevertheless, it was a pretty good overall experience for us. I would recommend this place if you like to purchase a Subaru car!
This place has been my worst experience ever I purchased a car there 1/10/20 since then I have been back in several times with the car. My first visit they stole Subaru sign cover from my tire. I have warranty on 50000 mileage and still not there currently won’t past inspection 2/24/21 due to my tires and they refuse to replace them and we’ll not help me. Patrick Subaru Service is very rude and can careless. Worst experience I’ve ever had my entire life do not recommend this place to anyone. I have had to finally intact even reach out to the courts.
This is the worst Subaru Dealership I have ever been to! They constantly lie and never diagnosis the actually problem. They never take responsibility for their own faults. The manger Christine is nothing but disrespectful and only cares about profit for Subaru and not the customer. She lies and just wants profit. Dont buy a Subaru again! If you already own one then go to Village Subaru.
Jake was great. Very happy with the process. Easy to work with.
I purchased my 2017 Subaru Crosstrek from Patrick Subaru and it was a pleasant experience all around! I needed a new car as mine was literally falling apart. I set up the initial appointment online and was then directed to John W. when I arrived. He didnt beat around the bush, we almost immediately went for a drive, he didnt say much during it (which I appreciate) and promptly answered any questions I had about the car. He even let me play with the radio for what was probably too long. The negotiations were quick and decisive, none of that Oh... Let me talk to the manager nonsense for every counter. It seems Patrick gives the sales associates some negotiating power to make the process a lot smoother. While I dont feel I got THE BEST price for my vehicle, I do feel that they are at least trying to get the best car for my individual needs. I recently went in for my first 6000 mile oil change and was surprised to see that it was free! $75 saved right there and the staff in the garage were very helpful. Definitely worth checking out as they have a lot of vehicles on the lot and are willing to work with other dealers to get your exact car as fast as possible.
The customer service agent was very helpful and even cleaned under the hood for me which I was very appreciative of.
Worst customer service ever.
I was very impressed with my experience at Patrick Subaru, they were all very courteous and helpful and I would recommend them for those reasons.
They dont wear masks, even though there are big signs that everyone must wear one and of course it is the law to wear one if you are an essential business. When I walked in, two guys at the front desk (one of whom I think is a manager) were not wearing masks at all - not even hanging off an ear. Our salesperson had a mask on but with his nose sticking out the whole time we were there. We went to the back of the sales floor and I could see several people in the back room without masks. I walked out.
I had an issue with my car after one year of owning it. I was very unhappy about the situation, but after meeting and discussing it, I left a satisfied customer again. It did not appear as if they were initially going to listen to my side and stick with the rules as I played a part in the issue. But they listened to me and even though technically they could have sent me out the door without a resolution, they offered me a solution that worked for all.
Staff all friendly and helpful. Very clean.
Horrible experience would never go see a vehicle there at all. Got kicked out because we are closed not a way of treating customers. I would never go back there!
Went to get my 2013 Subaru Impreza serviced here, just a regular oil change, and they never even changed my oil! The first red flag was they never put a new service sticker on my windshield. About 4,000 miles later my oil light came on which was odd as it has never burned oil before and it only has 52k miles on it. I checked the oil and it was an entire quart low! I use full synthetic as well. So I go ahead and performed my own oil change and it was considerably much more black and gross than it usually is even after 6k miles which is the standard interval I go between oil changes. The oil was obviously the same oil that I put in about It 9k miles ago. It couldn’t have been more obvious that they lied and charged me for a standard oil change that they never even performed. Looks like I’m never going back here! If you want to ripped off, then this is the place for you!
A very pleasant experience, and I dont generally like the experience of purchasing a vehicle. Paul was very friendly and helpful. He went the extra mile to solve a problem with a key for us. Thank you Patrick Subaru!
I had a great experience with Patrick Subaru! They went out of their way (literally drove to another dealership) to pick up the part my car needed so that they could complete my service same-day. Thank you, Sean!
I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Patrick Subaru this past week. I called to make an appointment for a test drive and when I arrived they pulled the car up and told me to go for a spin. When I returned I never felt pressured into buying it but ended up loving the Forester and moving forward with it. I worked with Paul on the paperwork and completed the deal over the weekend. Even the finance manager was friendly and informative.Previously, I had had a terrible experience at a different Subaru dealership that had left a bad taste in my mouth but Patrick Subaru was much better! I dont live in the area so I will not be bringing it there to be serviced but I would buy another car from them in the future!
They charged me for an oil change and didn’t change my oil, Almost led to my engine blowing. Have had bad experiences here over the years. You’re better off going somewhere else.
Went to them for oil changes, oil consumption tests, recalls on my 2014 Subaru Forester. Even brought a Subaru here. I loved them! They were my designated dealer. So why am I rating them 1 star?Sean Foley that audacity to tell me I had a nail in my tire after getting my oil consumption test (covered my dealer). SCANDALOUS, wanted 20$ because they were not making anything from me. I know I didnt have a nail. My car drove less than a mile to them.Since then, went to a different Subaru dealer. Its not worth getting ur car done at a dealer that lies and cheats their customers. Thanks for reading. Becareful with this dealer if you have to bring your car in.
I bought a subaru in the summer of 2018. The sales tep was friendly helpful and knowledgeable about the lineup and available accessories for the car. She found the car I was looking for and helped me purchased it. It was the low pressure car buy experience you dreamed about but could never find at a typical dealership. Usually a car buying experience starts with 3-5 salesmen attacking you before you have 2 feet on the pavement but not at Patrick. It was a completely shocking situation. The only things that were a problem is they didnt have the car in stock so I had to wait... no problem there... and then I found the dealership branding was placed on the car even though I told them I didnt want it on there. After talking to the sales associate who sold me the car, she told me I can bring it in and they would remove the branding. It was again, something I wasnt expecting from a car dealership. If I could summarize things and give a recommendation, I would say give this place a try, talk to the people who work here and see if you are as surprised as I was. I cant guarantee it, but I can guess you will love your shopping experience at Patrick Subaru.
Went to get a forester todayWalked the lotStood in the showroomNo one talked to meNo one greeted meEven the guy I held a door open forNo one Said “ can I help you”
They were so helpful and kind and they really went above and beyond for us. Mary in warranties helped us a lot and they ran diagnostics on the car even though we ended up not getting it repaired there, which they had no obligation to do so that was really nice. I really appreciated how they worked with us, I would absolutely go there again.
Started by messaging Ashley online. Then came in and spoke to Paul in the dealership. Both of these people were informative and great. The only person I wasnt a fan of was the finance guy. I couldnt afford the extended warranty and the he kept magically coming up with counter offers for cheaper ways of getting it. Present all the options to begin with Adam. Thats sketchy.I got the car I wanted with a good finance rate. They threw in free all weather mats.
Honestly, I have changed my review for them from 1 star to 5 stars because rarely, people request for second chances and prove their best when given. Genuine, patient and high integrity is all what I have seen this time. Am glad that I could purchase my car here!
I was always a Toyota guy. Im not anymore. Subaru has opened my eyes. I have now leased 2 cars in two years, and will continue to get my cars from here exclusively, unless Im buying something they dont offer. And the staff here are amazing. The finance guys are astounding: none of the high pressure, sell you garbage you dont need that you get elsewhere. The sales managers cut straight to the chase, and they come out of the gate with accurate pricing. If you think the only way to get a good deal is to go through hours of fighting and negotiations, this probably isnt the place for you. They dont do that. They give you a great deal.My sales person was great, too. He answered any questions I had, but didnt feel the need to embellish or exaggerate any facts. He moved at my pace which is a little quicker than most, and I greatly appreciated that.
I had to bring my car to be fixed on. I had to come three times to get the AC fixed. I had to miss days of work to come here they are rude through the phone and on Person. They get mad when you ask them question. This is theLast time I come here. The wait time is ridiculously long.
Great experience!!!No pressure from sales team.
Went here for my vehicle recall - customer service is superb. Very quick response and people here are nice!
I purchased a Subaru Legacy from here. The only thing I asked for was to change the aftermarket in-dash equipment from my trade-in to my new car. The salesman brought someone over, I believe to be the owner if I remember correctly. He asked what he could do to make the deal happen and I told him. He said that was OK and would take care of it. The car was sent to Sun & Sound in Worcester. Sun and sound called me explaining it would need parts for $150. I told them Patrick Subaru was taking care of it so to contact them. They called me back shortly after and said that Subaru was not going to pay for it. I had to pay the $150 which is going back on our arrangement. They said whatever they had to say to get me to sign the papers then left me hanging.
I went into Patrick Subaru September 24. Having already done my homework I knew what my trade was worth,I also knew what a fair price for 2019 Subaru Forrester was, and that Subaru is offering 2.9% financing. Being a repeat customer I was under the guise that I would be treated with honesty and respect. I was not. The sales person Mike was dishonest to say the least. Mike tried to pull a fast one on me. He looked up the Kelley blue book rating on my trade but didn’t put in the proper information. After Mike argued with me about my trade value I had him go back into the computer and put in the proper information on my trade. Well guess what, my trade value went up $1600. I had him check on the 2.9% financing after he argued with me and guess what again I was correct .After nearly an hour and a half of sitting there and trying to get Mike to do his job honestly and properly we finally agree on a final cost of 7,500 . Then Mike goes up to the counter and after waiting several more minutes I go up to see what the problem is. Mike hands me paperwork with a bottom line of 8,900.At this point now I am thoroughly disgusted. I walked out of Patrick Subaru (after 2hours of complete bs) never to return. I drove to a different Subaru dealership in Connecticut and bought the exact 2019 Forester that day with the final cost of 7,500. Take my advice and go elsewhere.
Great service. Great staff. Very professional.
Difficult to get to the facility and the staff are very polite and informed.
The Express oil change is quick, normally. The last couple of visits have been slow. They took away the fresh fruit that used to be offered to customers. And the chilled bottle of water has now been replaced by a bubbler. Yet another place starting to lack in customer service.
Excellent. Very nice start for my search for an automobile.
Very helpful staff. Always gotten good cars from this place. These are not cheap cars, they are very high quality. If you go purchase a model, get everything you want on the car from the start. The only time this place runs into problems when you add extra things on to your car purchase. Got a hitch put on at an offsite service mechanic which is semi-affiliated with the dealer and it was a pain in the a$$. The dealership is always great to their customers however and in my experience they dont give you a hard time during the buying process. Frank is always great to work with.
We bought a new car from Patrick Subaru. Mike Katz is our sales person. He is good in handling the customer queries and always there to answer/provide information we needed. Its our second new car. Process went very smooth from beginning till end. No hassle in getting our car keys. After providing the keys to us, Mike explained each and every features of our new car, which i havent seen in my first new car purchase with other dealers. Thats something a big difference they made on us.I would also like to appreciate the entire sales team to make this deal a smooth process. No pressure to buy the car. Still they won our deal. I will definitely recommend Patrick Subaru to anyone who are in the market.
I had a very easy and painless experience here. Chris Rodgers was an excellent sales person very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The showroom looked great and the finance department was quick and efficient. The GM reached out to make sure I had a great experience as well. 5 star performance all around.
Do not buy used vehicle from here, especially if the warranty is going to expire. They will sell you the car and then leave you to figure it out when the car breaks down. Since I’ve purchased the car it’s been one problem after the next. I’ve tried to get help from them initially, which was hard because they told me to email someone, and this person would just take days to respond. Anyhow, I was finally able to schedule a day to drive into their shop due to initial problems I was having. I drove it in and then was told nothing was wrong. They said they tighten some bolts and said there’s nothing else they can do. Yet the issues persisted, and I called again and they told me that if I wanted my car to be seen I’d have to pay +$100, just to get it looked at. If they claimed that nothing was wrong with it, I would be losing a lot of money. I ended up taking it Webster Square Tire and Auto, and let me tell you that they are awesome! They don’t charge you to check vehicle, and they walk you through the process. Anyhow, the the issues was resolved there. However, I had to come here for a recall. They fixed the issue and claimed to have done a “courtesy” inspection of the vehicle. But in actuality they only said that to then try and sell me on services I didn’t need. The representative said I needed a lot of maintenance things to work on, such as changing the air filters and spark plugs. I asked him if the car was really even inspected, because I had recently competed all such things. He pause and then just said, “oh we’re basing it off the mileage of the vehicle”. So, no physical inspection was performed? He said he could ask the technician for more details. But at this point I knew that this place is a sham. They care more about making money then genuinely helping people. I have lost all confidence in this place.
We had a specific tire on our Subaru that was deflating, setting off a tire pressure light. We re-inflated it a couple times, then decided it needed repair. We took it to Patrick, they said nothing is wrong with any of our tires. A day later the tire pressure light came back on. We took it back to Patrick again, and they did work on the wrong tire. This we noticed when the tire pressure light came back on yet again and we reviewed the invoice. We took it back in a THIRD time. They would not admit they fixed the wrong tire, instead saying that tire needed work too. I check our tires often, there was only one tire that was having issues with holding air. It was on this 3rd visit when they noticed a nail in the tire that we brought it there 3 times to specifically address. We have lost confidence in Patrick Subaru.
Honestly, I dont want to take my car anywhere else since Ive started coming to Patrick Subaru. John in particular has been fantastic, knowledgeable, and provides exceptional service. The service technicians do great work, they take the time to explain whats happening and are proactive with other issues they see during the visit. Highly recommend Patrick Subaru and John.
Very knowledgeable place and the staff are great
Working with Mike while purchasing my new Subaru Outback, was truly exceptional! From our first meeting, where he gave me the basic information on the vehicle and what to expect from it, through the final walk-through the car, mike never made me feel as though this was more than just a sale.. He truly knew the product he was selling, and made sure I as the customer, was 100% comfortable and satisfied with my purchase. The day I picked up my car, Mike not only went through every single option Hands-On in the vehicle with me, but he also went the extra mile, and helped me move items from the vehicle I was trading in, into my new car. I would never hesitate to recommend not only Patrick Subaru, but moreover Mike as a Salesman!
An 8am opening on Saturday according to Patricks website. Great. I was here at 7:55 with 3 cars ahead of me and an an hour and a half wait???!!Well, according to the 2 men in charge the morning starts at 7 now. I requested that they change their website, your customers rely on you! I received two blank stare s from the management and sat down to write this review.2*...one for the pleasant young man that checked me in and one for the mechanic. They seem to be doing their jobs. As for the charmless men in charge...do your job. Be sure that the website is updated for your customers. Thank you.
They try hard to make a good customer experience. Ascent consumes much more gas than EPA estimates boasted by Subarus marketing, though, in a deceiving tactics move, unexpected from Subaru, and the techs quite visibly did not receive appropriate training on the new model as they cant answer questions about fuel efficiency and peculiar noises the fancy turbo system makes.
Excellent timely service. Very clean and comfortable waiting accommodations in and out
Just walking in the door everyone was really attentive and friendly. I had told them I was looking to buy a used Subaru and the salesman they directed me to was Al and he was great. He helped walk me through the entire process and was great working with me. It was my first time buying a manual car so he even took me out on a test drive for a little lesson. Overall, it was an awesome experience and he made sure that the car was in perfect shape before I got it. I would definitely recommend this dealership and Al to anyone looking to buy a car.
I am not from this state and I broke down on exit 10A coming into Worcester. My car was towed to the dealership and they promptly took care of it the next morning. I was back on the road within a couple hours. thank you so much for your attention and to Mary the service advisor for her help and assistance.
I shopped all Subaru locations and kept coming back to Patrick, mainly because of the personality of my sales lady and the no pressure environment.I knew they gave me the best deal as I did shop them, but in the end the confidence that Samantha Matte had my back was a main force in sticking with them. Thank you again too to the finance/lease agent as he too was personal and easy to talk with.
This is my fourth Subaru purchased from Subaru. All four vehicles have been purchased through Joe. I would have bought more from him except my profession requires a full size truck which at this time Subaru does not have a product line. Joe is always professional, knowledgeable and down right friendly. He goes out of his way to make you as comfortable as possible. I trust Subarus so much that it was not even a consideration to give my newly licensed daughter her first Subaru. There is a reason Joe has been with Patrick Subaru for many years.
Buying a new car from Joe Dinneen was the best dealership experience we have had in a very long time. We put off going forever, because buying a new car typically sucks. Joe was really nice, funny, and professional. He listened to our list of what we did and did not want, and only showed us vehicles that were within our parameters. He did not try to sell us anything we did not want, or pressure us into getting something expensive that we did not need. He also did not try to pressure us into buying a bunch of accessories or fancy warranty plans.Robert explained the contract and financing options well. He made the whole process simple and straightforward. He did not try to sell us any extras, either, which we really appreciated. Even though we only saw him for a few minutes, he was friendly and pleasant.Overall, this was the best experience weve ever had buying a car. We will be back.
Our Legacy was the second vehicle my husband and I have purchased from Patricks Subaru. Both our 2003 and 2013 buying experiences were excellent. We worked with Nate on our must recent purchase. We showed up 2 hours before closing on a Sunday with our 7 and 4 year old sons. Nate was great from the get-go. We had a list of requirements for the vehicle we would purchase. Nate did waste our time and try to show us choices that fell outside our requirements. He quickly narrowed down which vehicle would fit our needs and desires best. He was so great with our boys and while I was worried they were bothering people, he reassure me they were great. Once we decided that we had found the one, we let Nate know our hope was to take the car home with us that day - even though it was a Sunday. He worked swiftly to make this happened and a little over two hours after walking in the dealership, we were driving home with two happy boys in our new car with all paperwork completed. I will readily recommend Patrick Subaru and Nate to anyone in the market for a vehicle.
Great experience with no BS & all full disclosure upfront. We did not have a trade but were still able to get a discount on a used (dealer leased) 2018 Subaru Legacy with extremely low mileage. My son had been in an accident and his car was totaled so we wanted a really safe car for him and the Subaru Legacy was tops in the industry. We had been through a tough couple of weeks following his accident and I was not looking forward to car shopping. It has always been a stressful and daunting experience when purchasing a used vehicle and I have found in my last experience dealers never negotiate on a used car. But this was not the case at Patrick Subaru. We explained that we didn’t have a car for trade because of the accident and Frank Wilcox got the price reduced for us and also told us about a further reduction by financing instead of paying cash (with no payoff penalty). So I will say for the first time ever I left after purchasing a vehicle feeling like we were treated with respect and got a great price and absolutely all fees were revealed upfront before signing anything or giving a deposit. Best car buying experience ever. We will definitely return if/when we are in the market for another new/used car in our family.
Experience was amazing. Warm and very attentive. Was not push to buy any vehicle. The Services(Subaru mechanic) is expensive, but worth it. This is my 5th year as their customer and never had a complaint.
My wife and purchased a 2016 USED Heavy Duty work truck traded in for a Subaru 3 weeks ago and purchased truck for over 40k. The buying process was easy and communication between all parties was great - until after the sale.Patrick Subaru sold us the vehicle and did not check safety standards in Massachusetts prior to taking the vehicle home instructing us to have the vehicle inspected within 7 days. It would not pass Mass Inspection due to brake light issue we were unaware of.We live 2 hours from Patrick Subaru, so going back and forth for diagnosis, part order and eventual fix are not feasible, especially with a diesel truck and 2 children. They will not work with you and compromise even for the simplest fixes for buyers long distance.Another problem arose with the truck, bad/corroded under-hood fuse box affecting towing/trailer lights and potentially worse down the road. Again, they will diagnose, order and fix but will not work and compromise after the sale.Even if a reliable trusted mechanic of yours understands the issue and willing to fix locally.Called sales manager/services manager and owner to help resolve problem- NO return calls. Your service BEFORE THE SALE will be better than AFTER THE SALE. Heads up there.....
Knowledgeable sales staff. No pressure environment, staff really seems to have your best interest at heart. Willing to work with you to come up with a reasonable price for a new vehicle. Loved my whole buying experience at Patrick and I LOVE MY NEW SUBARU!!!
I was not planning on buying a car, I was curious on the value of my trade in and wanted to drive a car they had on the lot. I explained this to Phil, and he was more than accommodating. He never asked me once for a sale or pressured me into a purchase. He simple showed me the car. The features, how to set things up, how to use things, and explained how the Subaru was different than the car I ended up trading in. Phil was awesome. After the test drive I was impressed with him and the car so I asked for an estimate of my trade in. I already had an auto trader estimate and I felt it was on the high side, Patrick Subaru offered more. With a bigger trade in value, amazing price on the car, and expert knowledge I decided to look into purchasing the car. They were top notch, professional, friendly, and very accommodating.Bottom line, Phil Sheridan and Patrick Subaru made my experience relaxing and fun. I will be a return customer.
When my Honda Accord recently died, there was no question that I would be buying a new Subaru Legacy from Patrick Subaru. We had purchased a Legacy for my wife in 2016 from Patrick Subaru, and we love this car. Better yet, the entire car purchasing experience was the best I had ever encountered. The sales consultant we used in 2016 was excellent (Jeff Moberg) -- friendly, professional, informative, and he readily met the price we were looking for. We take the car to Patrick Subaru too for all of the maintenance, and weve been very pleased with that experience as well. So when my Honda died, I headed straight for Patrick Subaru to buy a new Legacy for myself. The purchasing experience was again friendly, quick, professional, and no-hassle. I especially like the Legacy because of the driver leg room. I am a tall guy (6 1), and I need the leg room. The Camry and the Accord (my two previous cars) no longer have the leg room to accommodate tall people.
This was my first time purchasing a vehicle and as an out-of-state driver with out-of-state car insurance and an out-of-state bank, my situation was unique to say the least. However, Nate and all of the staff members that helped me were extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, and kind. They even fit me in at an unavailable appointment time and made sure to help me beyond the dealerships hours as needed. All in all, I had a wonderful experience, I love my new car, and I would definitely recommend Patrick Subaru!
Went in for oil change. They did work not requested, damaged vehicle in process causing break lights to not turn off and dash lights (Incline Assist, ABS, and Traction Control) to light up. Have to go in again to get their problem fixed. While doing additional work, marked the battery as Yellow for condition. I had replaced the battery less than 24 hours earlier.Clearly in it for the money, not the customer. Will update review if they resolve the problem (no update = no fix)
This is our second new Subaru purchased from Patrick Subaru. Exceptional experience; no sales pressure, detailed explanations, more than fair trade-in price. Car delivered on time and in pristine condition with exactly the right add-on accessories expertly installed. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy sales staff. Well worth the drive from West Brookfield, MA. We would highly recommend this dealership.
Nice place and costumer service verry kindly.
Very knowledgeable, pleasant, non-pushy staff. Talked me out of buying accessories I didnt need. Gave a great price on a trade-in and on a new vehicle, well below MSRP price, without tedious negotiations. Made me feel very at ease during the whole process. Highly recommend.
Patrick Subaru made a stressful situation for me simple. When my old car decided to crap out on me once again, I decided that was the time to get a new car. Luke is amazing. I never felt pressured to buy a car from them. I knew exactly what I wanted for a car. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and they went to get the person I was looking for. While I was waiting, someone else made sure I was being helped. Luke was instantly friendly and did an amazing job working to get me the car I wanted. The bank I went through to get a loan did not give me a deal to get the car so they worked with other lenders so I could get the car. I had the car two days after taking it for a test drive and just in time for the snow storms. I would have ended up in a snow bank with my old car, but with my 2009 Subaru Legacy, I feel safe driving during the winter weather. Luke and everyone else at Patrick that helped me get my car, made my life so much easier. Definitely would recommend anyone to go there, especially to get a Subaru.
This place has a Management issue and the good employees suffer for it. We should have seen it from the beginning but the car was a 2017 Impreza Sport, 5 Speed manual, Moon roof, all wheel drive with 5800 miles which is a hard find and everything we were looking for. From the start they were full of empty promises. We made an appt due to COVID19 and was told they would have the car pulled and ready to test drive (it wasnt). We made a deal, paid a deposit and signed it, then we asked Robert if they knew about the new process to register the car in RI due to COVID and he said they didnt but would call RI on Tuesday to find out. (he didnt) We returned the following Saturday to sign the financing and hoping to take our car home but we were told we could not take to because it was not registered.(not 100% true) We also asked about Temp paper plates and was told that is a RI thing and doesnt exist in Mass. (not 100% true) We called the RI DMV and were told we could have used our plates on the car to transport it home within 72 hours of signing the bill of sale. So now we had to wait. We called on Wednesday afternoon to check on the progress of registering the car, only to be told our paperwork was sitting on someone desk because it was missing insurance info. Plus they still had not contacted RI about how to register the car. We talked to Jeff and told him we would have the insurance company email the needed info and asked if he could follow up with us when he received it. (he didnt) We called to follow up on Thursday to find out that was Jeffs day off and no one at the dealership knew anything about the insurance info. This is when Michelle decided to take responsibility for all the issues we had and tried to fix them. She spent Thursday trying to contact the RI DMV with no luck, we even suggested she call other Subaru dealers in Mass closer to the RI line to see if they knew about the new process due to COVID. At the end we decided to overnight all the paperwork to the RI DMV and hope for the best. The following Friday Patrick Subaru received our new plates and registration but we still had to go to the RI DMV to transfer our custom plates because we were told it had to be a new registration because we didnt trade in a vehicle. (also not 100% true)So in the end, if you plan on buying a car from Patrick Subaru you need to have a lot of patience, be very proactive, be very informed and be willing to hold the hand of this dealership during the purchase of your car.I truly believe every situation is a learning lesson and the management of this dealer has a lot of lessons to learn from, in our case. The 1st lesson is to listen to your customers or you will not have any.Thank you Michelle for everything you did to help us, we are truly grateful and sorry about the position your dealership/management put you in.Glen and Stacey
I had made an appointment to have them take a look at my outback, did tire rotation, oil change and recall. While I was there I asked them to take a look at my washer fluid light that was indicated that fluid was low, light was on for a few weeks even though it wasnt low. My assumption was I had some summer fluid on bottom that froze since it was really cold and messed with sensor. But figured Im there I will asked them. The guy came back telling me that my sensor was defective and that I needed to replace the entire washer fluid reservoir and thats $300. I told them I will pass on doing that right now.. few days later temperatures warmed up and the light went away, and sensor works fine and comes on when fluid is actually low. This was my first time bringing a car to a dealer, and it sure wasnt a good experience for me, was almost ripped off of over $300 for something that was fine! Also, car tires are making so much noise now, thought they would at least check if I needed an alignment or balance the tires. Nope! Now I definitely have some shaking in steering so I have to go back now.I was expecting better service for my outback.
Ashley in online sales is amazing. She really should be on the sales floor. She sold me this car. Went back and forth on everything finance-wise and I’m very happy. Joe the sales guy who did the final paperwork is rushing me through financing and RMV on a Saturday. Hoping I can take it home today!
I made an appointment to look at two used Subaru Legacy models. The woman I spoke with was friendly over the phone, told me who to ask for when I arrived, and contacted me that day to confirm my appointment. I even called them ahead of time to let them know I was running 5-10 minutes late. I showed up only to be brought to their parking lot (in the dark) to two cars: one Legacy was blocked so I couldnt see it, and another with a dead battery. They said this is normal, but it was something I hadnt experienced at any other dealership. So I had to stand and wait in the cold while the employee got the jumper cables and jumped the car... not exactly a great way to start the test drive. Given that I had called in advance and it was a slow weeknight, I was expecting the cars to be ready for me. The person I met with was not a sales person and didnt offer any information about the car. The car I drove was fine, but why would I buy a car that had a dead battery upon arrival? It was a complete waste of my time to go there all the way from Newton. While I didnt end up buying a car at North Reading Subaru, their sales team was friendly, approachable, and not pushy like other dealers. They didnt end up having the right car for me but I would recommend them. Unlike Patrick Subaru, they had the car ready for me... and it started!
Bought my first Subaru Forester from them. Al and Ashley are very helpful and patient. Since this is my first car, I ask many questions in email. They always replied rapidly and fully answered my questions. Will do business with them again if I have the chance in the feature.
This is our 3rd car we purchased at Patrick in last 6 or 7 years. Subaru is the best car for travel and sports in any weather. Safe and dependable. We have used Luke for all 3 cars we purchased here at Patrick. He is knowledgeable about all models and makes us feel welcome. He is easy to talk to and no sales pressure. Start looking here for your next car.
After checking out almost every 7 or 8 seater SUV, we decided that the new Ascent was a match for what we wanted. We were looking for style and more important, safety, as we oftentimes are driving our 3 young grandchildren around. The Ascent had everything we wanted. After visiting with several Subaru Dealerships, we choose to work with Nate at Patrick Subaru. He listened to our needs and found us the perfect car in the perfect color with all the necessary options. The whole leasing experience was easy and were loving our new car.
