I received a cold call from Hearing Life inquiring how my hearing aids were working. I had purchased them just under three years ago. I informed the caller that I wasn’t using them because I had lost one when removing my face mask. The caller suggested I come in for a hearing test and possible replacement of the lost one. She checked my account and informed me that I could get a free replacement because there was one month remaining on my warranty. I made the appointment and had a hearing test. After the test, the doctor offered the availability of of in-ear hearing aids. When I inquired about the cost, I was told it would be the same as the original purchase ($5,000.00). I declined that offer. I was then asked if I was aware of a $400.00 replacement fee. I told her I was not and also was told it would be a free replacement. She then called up my account on the computer and told me the warranty had expired and I would be responsible for full cost of replacement ($2,500.00).I was not only mislead by the caller but giving the impression of a free replacement was a flat out lie and waste of my time.My recommendation, if you are looking for hearing aids, is to go somewhere, anywhere, else. I do not trust this company any more.

Her thorough assessment of diminished hearing was conveyed by a series of investigative test procedures that engaged mom to participate so her results were evident and precise to her level of hearing loss. Ive been going here for about 4 years or so. Right from the beginning I felt ar ease. The staff is great. All my questions answered. I would totally recommend this place if you are looking hearing testing and products. They have all the latest in hearing aids.

This has been the best Audiologist/hearing aid locations I’ve ever been too. I made an appointment through the hearinglife website (or thought I did) and for whatever reason there wasn’t a record of it. In spite of that confusion the team took a minute to hear my issues and made immediate arrangements to help me out as soon as possible. I love working with this office!!!

I visited to specifically see if there was a better hearing aid available since I last updated my hearing aids 4 years ago. Leslie Soiles retested my hearing and then made me aware of a current product that she felt I would e happy with. She gave me all the information I needed, and answered all my questions. I think my hearing will now be much improved. I appreciate all her knowledge and help.

My Oticon hearing aids developed a series of tones going back & forth to each other, then they would stop working. I called Hearing Life in Shrewsbury, MA and Chelsea gave me a couple choices of appointments that same day. I arrived and Chelsea immediately took my devises, repaired the programming issue, updated them, then paired them to my phone. All in less than 15 minutes!!! Great job, timely service, friendly staff. Highly recommend

My 74-year-old father has been a patient for at least 5 years. The staff has always been so friendly when I call regarding my fathers difficulty cleaning and maintaining his hearing aids. The Walk-In hours have given me peace of mind knowing that I can always send my father unaccompanied to their office to get everything fixed instead of needing to take time off work.Recently I realized that my hearing isnt what it should be and that I may have been too busy to acknowledge problem for many years. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the staff eagerly scheduled a baseline hearing test within 1-month of my inquiry. The audiologist did thorough hearing test and patiently explained results. I did have some hearing loss that she explained on graph detailing my results. She gave me the option to postpone using hearing aids and come back in year to see if further hearing loss OR begin using hearing aids this summer. My job as Substitute Teacher requires great hearing in classroom filled with background noise plus I frequently work with small groups of students to practice phonemes so I chose to begin using hearing aids as soon as possible. I already wear eye glasses since age 9 so I wont be embarrassed to need hearing aid. My fathers silver hearing aids are so compact that I dont even see them under his white hair. Regardless, the audiologist was sensitive to patients fears and automatically suggested one of the brown colors that she believed would match my hair color the best. She listened to my concerns about heredity hearing problems when I described how my daughter has struggled with Speech Articulation Disorder since age 4. She eagerly welcomed to bring my daughter to next appointment so she can do a baseline test to rule out any potential hearing loss. My 9-year-old was excited to hear about upcoming hearing test and I know that she will be mature enough to participate in simple hearing test without fear. The audiologist explained that some children need a different type of test while sedated because theyre too young to participate in the test I completed. Overall, it was a great experience and I know my family will continue to be lifelong patients for all of our hearing needs.

I cant recommend Dr. Soiles more highly. Just the sweetest genuine person you could meet. She has been fantastic for my 87 yo mom and getting her hearing back to a decent level.

We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Soiles for being on top of the latest technology. She literally changed my husbands life. The cost may seem at first to be a little high, but the follow ups and adjustments are free. This is invaluable, as many would probably put this off otherwise.

I received2 hearing aids for a 30 day trial. I had to pay $1,000. I was told that if they didnt work for me I would get the $1,000 back. Unfortunately, there was not enough improvement to justify the $5,200 cost, so I returned the hearing aids and was told they would send me a check for $1000 It had been 13 days and I havent received my check. When I called I was told the check was mailed out 9 days ago and to wait another 7 to 10 days and if I still havent received it to call them back. This is ridiculous!Y
