I made an appointment in person while I was in the store. I got a call the day before telling me the doctor had an emergency and they needed to reschedule me. No problem I understand family emergency. I just got a call to reschedule my rescheduled appointment because the doctor decided to take the rest of the week off. Cancelled it all. Ridiculous
Dr. Eagle was amazing. She was fast and really really nice. Her staff on the other hand were rude and the way they both represented themselves, makes me not want to go back. Also, when helping me with trying contacts on for the first time “no you need to do it this way otherwise ....” she was very demanding and rude about it.
I got there right after I got out of school, and had to get my prescription and my glasses before 4:45. There service was extremely good and fast, but since Im only 17 and didnt have my parents with me, they helped me with my parents insurance company to order my glasses. If it wasnt in by Wednesday, it wouldnt be in until Friday because of Thanksgiving, but if they werent in then, it wouldnt be until Monday because there are no weekend deliveries. I was thoroughly surprised and extremely satisfied when they called me only 3 days later saying my glasses were in, and they were perfect.
I already had my prescription so I didnt use that part of it. My experience was great. Didnt take long to get paperwork done. Got my frames picked out and chose what type of lenses I wanted. There was no pressure to buy what you didnt want, like all the add ons. After my insurance I only paid under $50 for my new glass. It only took a week to get them in. I will definitely be going back here to get my glasses.
Angela Eagle O.D. is AWESOME.
I was lied too from the moment I made the appointment to the minute I left the store ... I was told on the day I made the appointment I could get glasses in one day ... The eye doctor talked so much I could barely ask any questions but I was assured that I would get my glasses on that day ... I got my prescription thinking I would get my glasses that day but was informed after I paid at the register that it would take two weeks to get my glasses ... Its 14 days later and still no glasses even tho they were supposed to be sent out in the mail ... My advice ... STAY AWAY FROM THIS WALMART EYE CENTER AND THE UNETHICAL LYING STAFF AND DOCTOR IT EMPLOYS ...
The glasses part is great but not the Siloam Eye Care in the back where thry do exams. We were supposed to have Dr. Eagle but got Dr. Griffin instead and he is senile so if you get him expect to be there over 2 hours for a simple eye exam and doubtful results.
I took my father here to get glasses back when they had an optometrist there. The doctor who examined him was professional. The vision center staff was not. They were too busy joking around and acted like it was such a burden to assist customers. When the glasses came in, my father told them the prescription was wrong but they told him he just needed to get used to it. He went back a week later and told them the prescription was wrong. They sent the glasses back and it was wrong alright. They had put someone else’s prescription in his frames. So when he needed to update his prescription about 3 months ago, he went back and the doctor updated the prescription and ordered it. When my father picked up the new glasses he said they were wrong again and she assured him they weren’t. “Get used to it.” Again. So he got frustrated and just wore them anyway, thinking he’d get used to them.Well, he had a physical yesterday and failed the eye exam terribly. He could see better without the glasses. His doctor told him that he was most definitely given the wrong prescription and because of that, it has caused greater damage to his eyes. My dad called the Wal Mart vision center and they said the doctor is no longer there, it’s just a place to order glasses. They told him again that the glasses weren’t wrong and even if they are they can’t replace them if he had the wrong prescription.Rip off, unprofessional and quite a racket going here! Well, what could we have expected from Wal Mart anyway?
They were extremely nice and helpful my dad lost his glasses and other places wanted between $300 & $400 cause he didnt have insurance but he only paid $200 after taxes here.
Went Friday, 8-19-16, late evening. From Okla. near Tulsa, & was tired of bad Customer Serv. & not standing behind product when there was a problem w/ lens, after 3 years of patronage. Formerly from Montana & used to get our glassses w/ Wal-Mart or Sams Club there & always satisfied! Called Siloam Wal-Mart & confirmed they had vision ctr. & also Sams Club/Fayetteville & decided to check out both, but so satisfied with SUPERIOR Customer Service with Jacob Jake @ Walmart, just decided to goo ahead & order there!! Great Service, Products & Price! Susan R./Okla.
