I will never go back to this location. I always review both good and bad. Con: I arrived at 7:55 for an 8:00 appointment. Inside gate was still down at 8:00. They finally opened at 8:10. I was finally helped at 8:20. I went in initially for an oil change and was told at 8:20 that it would take until 10:30. I was the first appointment so why would it take 2.5 hours to do an oil change? Pro: I needed a tire and was going to wait until the following week to purchase one. The man at the desk told me I needed one as the treads were very low which I knew. I asked for the price and he was helpful in getting me the lowest price of the tires he had in stock. I was able to leave by 10:30. However, I got both an oil change AND a tire installed. So, once again, WHY would it take 2.5 hours for just an oil change?

The confirmation for the oil change appointment was sent to me, but then I got a call and the representative said that he would need to cancel the appointment. So I asked him for a different time slot. He rudely denied and mentioned that the next available appointment is over the weekend. I requested him to book it and told him that I would prefer to wait when they work on my car. I offered to wait as long as it takes them to get the job done, but he again rudely mentioned that I should be prepared to wait for 6 hours for the oil change. I am done with NTB and would find a new store all together.

I gave this place a shot cause it’s close to home. This was my second time there and the experience was terrible.Carlton took no less than 20 minutes checking my car in. He was too busy telling me “anecdotes” about customers (really more listen to this story about how this customer was wrong and I was right) and trying to upsell me on a different oil package from what I asked for. It was extremely annoying, but I was polite and let him carry on. He told me it’d be done before 6 and I left to kill some time. Carlton calls 30 minutes after I left telling me they won’t be able to service my car and I need to come get it. No other explanation. I knew I was going to waste a few hours out of my day with NTB, but I also expected to get the service performed. He offered to reschedule my appointment to Monday at 3, showing they’d rather prioritize Monday customers over the customers that inconvenienced today.For those wondering the first time I went it was okay… I dropped it off at 8:30 (tires, brakes, oil) and need it by 3. Of course it wasn’t done by the time I needed it but I didn’t fuss over it. Tbh i get my car serviced frequently and that’s the longest anyone has ever taken (even when doing the same job).If you feel like getting your time wasted and/or you like to gamble and want to take the risk they can actually service your car, come on down.

Made an appointment for 2pm here a couple weeks ago to get two tires changed. They told me it would cost $102, which makes no sense at all. After getting them to lower the price, I was told it would take 2 hours and they will call me when it’s done. I did not hear back from them at all, and called them at 5:50 (right before closing) to see if it was done. They told me it would be done soon and I could head over around 6. Surprise, they just started working on my car when I got there, and I sat in the waiting area for another 45 minutes.The week after I got my other two tires replaced at Walmart, who had my car on the lift 5 minutes BEFORE my scheduled appointment time, and had me out of there in an hour with absolutely no hassle at all, for less than $25.I went here because it was down the street from my house, but I much rather would have done the 30 minute drive to Walmart auto center the first time. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Serious dysfunction at this location. Upon arriving to the first appointment I made, they said they didnt have my tires in - which wasnt their fault, but they could have called to let me know before I made the trip. Second appointment - I waited 28 minutes in line for the two people in front of me to go (yes, 14 minutes per person at their single register), and they acted like they didnt know who I was or why I was there, despite my name being on their big appointment display. Im 2.5 hours into the ordeal of changing 4 tires on my car and it sounds like the mechanics are going to have a full on fist fight. They have been yelling at each other so long, so loud, so bitterly. Im never coming here again.

I would recommend this NTB location to anyone. The service is efficient and accommodating, and there is no such thing as a truly ‘long’ wait while you vehicle is serviced. Is online process to set up a flat tire repair. Dropped my car off with ease. The gentleman checking me in was extremely professional and timely. Estimated the care would be ready by 1130a but he called me at 930a to say the work was completed. Great service, efficient and professional. Not to mention the great price ~$50 for fixing a flat tire, replacing the original wheel back on the car, balancing the wheels on my AWD car, and replaced the spare in the trunk when I picked up the car. Couldnt have asked for better service.Thanks!!!

Had a slow leaking tire I needed to get fixed. Rod (the manager) & co. not only inspected the problem tire but all the other tires. When I had to replace 2 of the tires, they were very patient with me while I called the dealership I normally take my car to for service to compare prices. The prices were quite reasonable and the service was speedy and thorough. Thank you!

Really bad customer Service, I dont know whats the point of having an appoiment if they make you wait 30 mins just to ask you can I help you? they just dont care, i went there because I wanted to get new tires and an oil change, they made me wait 30 mins just to ask me if I need it help, And when they call the next person they helped a person who just arrived, and when I said hello? I am the next one, they got mad and ask me to wait.At that very moment I left super annoyed and angry, I called Firestone Complete auto care, they attended me without an appointment, they treated me very well and I even left with a coffee in my hand. Dont waste your time at NTB, it was my first time there and it will be my last.

I took my car in to this specific NTB to have a simple wheel balance. Nothing complicated.I had my initial appointment set up for 5pm on 08/08. I received a call from Carlton who I believe is the manager there. He called me around 11am asking if I can bring the car earlier. Sure enough within 30 mins I had dropped the car off and made arrangements to get home. He mentioned something about the wheel spacers on my car. Keep in mind Ive had these specific spacers on my car for months and had them on another car for 2 years and never experienced any vibration.Now I understand that there are other cars there and you may be limited on staff, but why would you ask someone to drop their car off at 11am have it sit there for hours only to be done at 4pm, an hour earlier than my initial appointment. Im not sure if they were trying to get out of the shop earlier or what.I paid for the wheel balance only to get on the highway and have the shaking be even worse than what it was when i got there. I became busy with work and 2 weeks later I took my car to a Volvo specialist and had them diagnosis the shaking I was experiencing at highway speeds. Their diagnosis, the wheels were not balanced properly.NTB did a very improper wheel balance. See what the tech sent me when he balanced the front wheels and the weights that were used vs what was supposed to be used. This is the second time Ive had an issue with NTB, the first being when the AC just mysteriously stopped working on my other car after taking it in for a wheel balance. Do yourself a favor and take it to a specialist, I thought by bringing my car in for something as simple as a wheel balance, they be able to get it right. Pay for quality work, and youll only pay once. Learn from my mistakes, its not worth the savings.Thanks for a wasted and inconvenient day NTB.

The reason Im giving them a 1 is because I came in for a oil change scheduled at 12:30 today, I left my car and was told I would get a call in 2 hours when it was done,, So I left and walked around till 3:00pm still no call so I walked back to shop and was told they could not do it because I had a bad oil leak.. So why didnt they call me when they found out they couldnt do it.I couldve have taken it somewhere else and had it looked at.No professionalism whatsoever, wasted my day...

The new tires and alignment were eventually done after waiting almost 6 hours for the tires even though I made an appointment for 10am. Kept telling us an hour and half more until we were at 6 hours and no alignment. Came back for alignment with an appointment for 4 pm and didnt get the car until 7pm. The timing is awful and inconsiderate.

I brought 4 brand new tires from this location last week which took 4 hours to complete. Now my sensor for low tire pressure is on. It has not been 2 weeks yet and I’m having tire issues. Customer service sucks and with all the jobless unemployment claims you would think more personnel would want to work. Rob said he would call me back to schedule an appointment no phone call or sense of customer service.

This incident happened a while ago, but it recently occurred to me to post it. I took my car into the shop for service, leaving my keys with the front desk. When I returned, I discovered the trigger snap hook on my key chain was missing. When I asked the mechanic about it, he said it must have fallen off. LIAR! THIEF! There was nothing faulty about the hook or the ring it was on with the keys, especially since they were new. That was the last time I went there. I go to Radial Tire, now. Better customer service at non-corporate, we-gotta-make-as-much-money-as-we-can prices. Other than that, Carlton and Joshua(?), Jesse(?) were gold.

This location is by far the worst location ever. They don’t explain things. They don’t do a proper diagnostic. They had my car for three days parked on their lot. Only on the third day to tell me that there’s nothing wrong with the car when it clearly had problems. When you drop off the car they don’t allow you to walk around the car with them to explain the problem they just tell you they’ll diagnose it themselves and they’ll call you. Which is crazy because if you do not walk around the car with them to explain what the problem is they don’t know what to look for but they don’t care about that they only care about charging you for work that they clearly do not do if you have the opportunity stay away from this location I can promise you your car and your life would be much easier if you do not go to these people.I took my car to another mechanic shop and they were able to walk around the car with me so they can get a better understanding of the problem and they were able to fix my problem all in one day but NtB had my car for three days and they did not fix my problem nor did they even figure out the problem after three days but when I took it to another shop they were able to figure out the problem within the same day and fix the problem within the same day

I had a 3:00 pm appointment to replace 4 tires. After arriving 15 minutes early, I approached the front desk and a employee that was later identified by the name Elizabeth rudely told me to sit down someone would be with me shortly. I have never experience such poor customer service and at that moment I was ready to leave. However, I needed my tires replaced and one which was almost completely flat.Elizabeth then met me at my car where the rudeness continued. She was extremely rude and ill-mannered. Due to her annoying behavior, it got hard for me to put through my transaction. Finally I told her I was done and canceled the appointment.If she is not given proper training on how to deal with the customers, I am sure your business will suffer. I am informing you as I do not want to speak to her again and might even stop doing business with you in the future if she does not change her attitude. Customers are the spine of any business and they deserve respect and kindness. I am sure you will take action on this.

Staff is somewhat friendly, but this place definitely needs an overhaul from a managerial perspective. I arrived about 10 minutes late, but waited another 10-15 minutes in line before being seen for a scheduled 2pm appointment. So, I was officially seen around 2:25pm. Granted-I was late. However, the long wait in line was not fun. Ive now been sitting here for 3.5 hours, still waiting for my car to be finished. Still. Others have come, and are having to wait long in line to be seen. Still others call and are placed on hold. This place seems way, way understaffed.

I took my car here for a basic wheel alignment. Instead I received a hard sell for service I didnt need or want. When I insisted on the basic service I came for the representative turned on the scare tactics telling me my car was unsafe. When that didnt work I was refused service. Ive been to other NTB locations and have received nothing but stellar service. I am left to wonder if the representative I encountered here was needing to make a sales quota or didnt want to bother with what I assume he thought was a small job.

Made appointment for 10:00 am on a Friday. Wheel alignment policy and tire balance/rotation. To make sure I got the vehicle back on time (a reasonable time), I dropped it off on Thursday night. Four snow tires on the vehicle to be swapped with four mounted all season tires in the trunk. Easy swap since no tires needed to be broken down. Well, you know what is coming. Car not ready at 11:30, then 12:30, then finally at 1:30. Why so long I asked. Answer: Oh, we had cars come in before 10:00 am on Friday. Why bother to make an appointment . Silence. But wait there is more: The tech did not use the original factory lug nuts and caps that came with the four all season tires. (They were in a plastic bag, placed on top of one of the tires so he/she couldnt miss them) Final insult: My dashboard tire warning light came on indicating uneven tire pressure in left front tire so I have to return to correct that issue and swap out the lug nut hardware. I wonder if I should make an appointment? HAH.

Very poor customer services,I stand more than 30 minutes in-front of the desk nobody want to serve me, finally, I try to ask him what I need he just ignored me and went inside the service center. There was some customers before me, i tryed yo know what’s going on and they told me,they are seat more than 4 hours after they gave there’s car key for repairing tire which is unbelievable why they opened the store!!!

The staff is polite and theyre truly honest about wait times which is very important when you dont feel like sitting around for hours. Theres one guy who talks way too much and tries too hard to be funny but hes decent overall. The front desk girl Liz is very personable an upfront about any repairs that are necessary. Ive been to this location before she started working and I wasnt extremely happy with the customer service. I can honestly say that because of her I will be a return customer

Had a flat tire and called NTB to get it fixed. I had to leave my car overnight because I arrived close to closing, but thats understandable. While the cause of the flat wasnt identifiable (Ive brought it to multiple places and no one has figured out why it goes flat so its not just NTB, sometimes it just doesnt show i guess), I was able to get my tire switched out.Carlton was very personable and kind and made the process easy for me. He explained everything thoroughly and the experience was good.

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Nearly 3 hours and over $400 to replace 1 flat tire today. Service was rude, waiting room had broken furniture, pricing was not explained. Charged $178 for labor....added a $50 protection plan I never asked for. And to boot when I got home found they didnt even have the courtesy to put the spare tire back. Just threw it in the back. Seriously?!? Will never come back here ever again. Dont waste your time or your money.

I had one tire that had a bubble on the side of it I took it there to see if I can have someone look at it and tell me if I needed a new Tire. They told me I would have to make an appointment in order to have someone like at the tire. I thought that was a bit much but if thats the process no problem lets go through the process made an appointment for 2 p.m. the next day. Arrived at 2 p.m. they took my vehicle I asked him how long would it take they said it would be about an hour to hour-and-a-half. At about 4pm they came and told me what I already knew which was I needed a new tire I said go ahead put the tire on took them until 6:30 p.m. to return my car to me so thats four and a half hours to put on one tire. The customer service at this place is horrible I do not recommend anyone using this facility until they change their behavior towards customers.

I recently had to get two tires replaced including new rims for my Mini Cooper. I received a call almost three weeks later saying that my car was ready. When I got there, not only my car was NOT ready, I had to wait two hours in the not so pleasant waiting area for the technician to FINISH fixing my car last minute meaning that it was clearly going to be rushed. (Even though they took three weeks to fix my car and on top of that gave me a CALL to say that it was READY. I think in ENGLISH ready means I go in, I pay and I get the heck out of that place. Once my car is finally ready, I proceed to pay the ridiculous amount of money the charge for their mediocre service and go home. The moment I start driving my car I notice the steering wheel starts to pull to the right all the time. THE ALIGNMENT WAS WRONG. THEY CHARGED ME FOR A FOUR WHEEL ALIGNMENT, REPLACED TWO TIRES, TIRE SENSOR, MONITORS, TOOK THREE WEEKS TO FIX MY CAR AND ON TOP OF THAT THE ALIGNMENT WAS WRONG. This is the WORST customer service experience Ive had in my entire life. There is a ridiculous amount of disorganization and lack of communication between the employees and the technicians. I am horrified by the fact that these people put their hands on vehicles to make sure that people are safe on the road!!On top of that, I go back to get a refund JUST for the poorly done wheel alignment and the not so friendly person in the front desk says that I have to make an appointment to make sure that I am correct and that the alignment was indeed done WRONG. Not even an apology. NOTHING.Stay away from this place and believe all of the horrible reviews they have ALL OVER THE PLACE. (Do not believe the fake great reviews they have on their website.

I had a terrible experience just minutes ago. I am a single female who knows nothing about cars - so I am cautious when it comes to cars. I was given an estimate that to fix my breaks and supply some coolant - it was going to be $1500. I said thats a lot - I dont want to be unsafe but I also dont want to fix something that I dont really need to fix. I havent heard or felt anything amiss. I say can you pass on to the mechanics to be honest when they assess the cars needs.. The sales person started to argue with me saying I should tell the manager because hes going to forget. I say back hes not making me feel confident in their services because being honest or reminding people to be honest shouldnt be that difficult. i remind him this is not good customer service. He argues more and would not do it.In my mind- if this is a point of argument why would I trust the shop with my car, my safety, or my money. I left. He cost them money

I had a bad wheel and the guys tried to help me. Too bad they couldn’t order the bmw parts needed to replace the wheel hub and bearings. Just want to say thank you for trying your best to help me out. Thanks guys!

Great service and awesome prices. The staff is knowledgeable and very kind. I was in and out in less than two hours. Free coffee, television, and a vending machine with health options. The soda machine takes credit cards. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

They have great products and I always leave pleased. However, Im not sure what the root of the issue is but with or without an appointment I cant seem to be seen in due time. Im not sure if they do not have enough employees at any one time but Im currently sitting in the waiting room with 5 others at 5:41pm. I arrived at 3:15 pm to get my front right tire replaced and have all 4 rotated, I was told it would be done at 5/5:30 pm. I stepped away and returned to be told that it wont be ready until around 6/615 pm. This has always been the case.I even try really appointments such as 8 am and still no difference. I know they changed management but I am not sure how much have changed.

This was my first visit at this particular location. Normally I go to the Merchants in Hyattsville, however I consistently receive unsatisfactory service there. So I decide to try another location, since I have a service plan for wheel alignments with the company. I made an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, & wheel alignment. When I arrived I was told itd take about 4 hours. It was a Friday, so I expected a longer weight time. However I was out in about 2 hours. The staff were professional and courteous. I will be visiting this location from now on.

Store Manager, Mr. Saint Jean and Sales Assoc. Mr. Binnitte and staff are always polite and professional. They let you know the best options for your bucks and explain how it will benefit you. Im familiar with Mr. Saint Jean from a different store closer to my residence, he moved on and I followed because hes honest about my vehicle needs.

NO stars ! None !This trip to the East-West Highway NTB was a HORRENDOUS experience.I will NEVER RETURN !I made the appointment online. I arrived early. I indicated that I needed to wait for the vehicle.They had none of the information entered online.The site says the tires I wanted were in-stock, at that location.The tires were not there.They told me to either wait for 4 hours or leave and come back - because the tire machine and deliveries were backed up.No, thank you.

The service was good! The only issue that I have with the service is that my TPM light was still on in my car. I wish one of the technicians could have explained to me why this light was still on after paying to have all new tires placed on my vehicle.
