This place is seriously the best garage I have ever been to. Ive moved a 30 minute drive away, and I still bring my car here to get serviced.The prices are good, they can finish most repairs day-of, even without an appointment, and they are so kind and take time to explain the repairs in laymans terms.

Totas saved me on a road trip while stranded in DC with bad brakes, nothing but positive things to say. I was recommended to them by a local friend but I really needed to get the car serviced in one day. I called to ask their availability and had the car towed to their shop first thing Monday morning. Communication was excellent, they called me to confirm the car arrived just minutes after it got there (I was tracking the tow truck through their app). An hour later, they called me with the diagnosis, and I authorized a very reasonably priced repair for new rear rotors and pads. By 2:30, they called me back to tell me it was done. Quick, efficient, communicative, reasonably priced - what else could you ask for?

This was by far my easiest and least stressful time at a mechanics ever. The staff was super helpful and communicative through the process of getting my brakes replaced. I paid the same cost I was sent as an estimate. Cant recommend enough.

Tee and the team at TOTAS have saved me thousands of dollars. I thought my brake line was destroyed because my car was smoking. Tee found a black walnut wedge between my exhaust pipe and the heat plate. He cleaned it out and charged me $42. They are consistent, fast, excellent communicators, honest, and affordable.

Ive been going to Takoma Oldtown for about 10 years now. Service is friendly, timely and reasonably priced. (But then: I dont go anywhere else). During that period Ive seen only one hiccup in the form of a tool left in the engine compartment. Three years ago, Bobby told me I needed a new car, that repairs for my crappy Chevy Venture were not worth it. I wouldnt listen and spent another 2000 buck on repairs during two years. Finally, this January Bobby told me that I couldnt take my car out of town for fear of imminent breakdown. So I finally listened and bough a new car.

I have been bringing my high mileage vehicle to this shop andthey have been keeping it running.As a female, I feel so confident in brining my vehicle here and knowing I am getting a fair deal.

I gave this guy to inspect my Isuzu rodeo car, he said it,s gonna coast me 785$, its ridicules, rite ? however since am eager get back to work i said go ahead .i paid, em in full, Then i do,nt even drive it 2 miles away from the garage, just got Brock in the middle of high way .and i called tow truck to this shop the same day at night .The following day while am expecting respect from the owner, he called me cheap .Am not !! there is saying when the belly got full the head become empty .may be you got enough money today acting like boss, i tell you what no one above law .I spent hundreds for nothing, today after he touch my car i couldnt drive my car just parked .tanks your help, and i tell my friend not to go there !!!
