Best place in town to get bagels! They make them fresh, and are generally pretty warm when you walk out of the store. They have a wonderful selection of bagels and spreads to choose from. They also make bagel sandwiches that are tasty! I definitely recommend this place if youre in the mood for a bagel.

There are a few places that serve a proper New York style bagel, and this place is one of them. Its a non nonsense place that serves up high quality fare. I look forward to a return trip and highly recommend this establishment.

Big selection of fresh tasty bagels. The Nova on the run is a little pricy but very good. I must try if you like lox. The chocolate chip bagels and the cinnamon bagels are the kids favorite.

Love the bagels here. Cheese bagel is my favorite, just eaten plain like a cheesy roll. But Ive also gotten bagels with cream cheese and some of the sandwiches. They have a good diversity of bagels and nice, prompt service. They do have hot coffee, but Id recommend bringing your own refillable travel mug as the lids of the to-go ones tend to leak a bit.

We love the bagelry (as an ex NYer married to an ex NJer that says a lot) and its always amazing and fast. I love the lox on a bagel but swap to scallion cream cheese and if they have the old bay, choose that (if not, go bially or everything bagel) and nix the salad 🥗. The kids get choc chip w plain cream cheese. They dont have a wild wait and the workers are great. I love the contactless google/apple pay and they brought the food out as my lox takes a bit and I had my kid in the car. Great bagels. Great people!

We feasted on Easter Morning on a platter prepared by the Bagelry. Our daughter and her family love this place and now the family knows why. Jen put together a platter for us with the help of the manager that we served in two phases. Started with incredible salmon, bagels and ALL the fixings. Then following church added salads and our own items and shared some leftovers. OUTSTANDING Thank yo .

Its a bit pricey for sandwiches, but friendly service. How ever I was disappointed by my last order when I asked for extra sauerkraut on the Reuben, I think I actually got less😕, couldnt finish sandwich bc it was too dry.

One of the best bagel shops in the county. They do the proper boil-then-bake for their bagels. They have all the traditional bagel varieties and several non-traditional varieties. They have many different types of flavors cream cheeses too. Highly recommended.

I grew up in NJ, so my bagel expectations are pretty high. I loved that Bagelry had bialies! Big thumbs up there. They were decent. The bagels, on the other hand, left me unsatisfied. They were a bit small, hard and overall just ok. I would eat here again, but I probably won’t be making the half hour round trip with frequency.

The Bagelry has all the makings of an epic bagel shop. Its in a random strip mall in Silver Spring. The owner/manager has a big personality that make you want to return. The space is no frills and you can watch staff make fresh bagels. They have over two dozen types of bagels including an oat bagel. They have many cream cheese options including a cookies and cream one. Their menu is large from plan bagels to breakfast sandwiches. However, the bagels were just okay. They were chewy, but not as tasty as Bagels Etc. or Pearls Bagels in Washington, D.C. My sesame bagel with strawberry cream cheese was decent, but not worthy of frequent return trips.

These are some of the best bagels I’ve had! The Old Bay and Everything bagels are the bomb. I love this place!

This local business has been at the same spot since I was a kid in the 80s and they still serve the best bagels in the area. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the Colesville area.

The staff recommended a selection that my husband and I ended up loving and the bagels were huge! Best bagels I have tried in years, and Im a regular at Einstein and City! We ate our lunch at the store but no chairs just standing tables, not a big deal considering the quality and taste of the food!

Light & fluffy bagels, wide selection of flavors including everything, egg, pumpernickel, jalapeño, challah. Chesapeake Bay Roasters coffee. You can see them boiling the bagels right onsite.

I live in Northern VA and there arent good bagel shops in the area. So happy I found this place when I was in the area.

We ordered a bagel/fish platter and a fruit platter for a special event. We were very impressed, as were our guests. The fruit was perfectly ripe and tasty, the bagels were the ones I had chosen over the phone, and the price was very reasonable. We were very happy!

What a great experience! We’d never been here before but wanted a quick lunch on a Saturday. We were immediately greeted when we walked in and took some time to review the menu. I believe the owner rang us up and gave us recommendations. The chicken salad on a wheat wrap was delicious. I chose a side of pasta and wish I had ordered more! He gave us bagel samples and veggie cream cheese to take home and try. We just finished breakfast and are already thinking about what we will try next. Great customer service from the entire staff and fresh, quality food. Highly recommend.

A small, family-run business. Service was good, but I think for my case everything there was a bit overpriced. On the good side - the food was very tasty and that part I like. Decent place to get good food, but it will cost you.

Easily the best bagels Ive found in the DC metro area. Wide variety of deli sandwiches. Only drawback is a lack of seating for customers - there were just standing tables the last time I visited.

They are so quick and accomodating. Want a mix of flavors? Want them sliced? One toasted with cream cheese to go? No problem. They are very friendly and customer oriented. Their whitefish salad is great!

My wife and I stumbled upon The Bagelry one day. It is very hard to find great bagels in the D.C. Area especially when you come from New Jersey. There is a reason why they have been around 1984. They know what they doing! Buy one! Buy more!

We discovered The Bagelry about a month ago, after having recently moved to the area. Weekend visits are now our normal routine. They make the most authentic, NY-style bagels and have a plethora of spreads & schmears. The oven is right our front when you walk in and the deli counter is reminiscent of old school NY. The staff are friendly & welcoming (and remember you, which makes The Bagelry a true community spot). They also have plenty of take home options already prepackaged and I noticed a sign for catering options. Don’t plan on staying long, there’s no seating (though there are pub tables you can stand and eat at). Highly recommend!

I go there occasionally when Im illicitly eating carbs, and they have a great selection of bagels and delicious cream cheese spreads. They put a generous helping on, let me tell you. They also recently started selling a French toast breakfast.I always feel welcome when I come because of the courteous staff, and during long carb binges they even remember my name! Im very happy to have this place just around the corner.

The Bagelry is one of the top Bagel places Ive been to. The Bagels taste so fresh. I usually get the everything bagel fully loaded with lox, cream cheese, capers, onion, tomato.

I wish they had more options in terms of prepared sandwiches and the like, but their bagels are damn good and theyve got great cream cheese as well. In other words, their fundamentals are sound, and thats the most important feature of any bagel shop.

We walked in and saw a giant sign saying they had gluten free bagels and I was super excited. I got to the counter and asked for cream cheese and lox on a gluten free bagel, and they told me they couldnt do that. I asked why, and they said they only sell them as a frozen package like you would purchase in the grocery store (except a ton more expensive) and even if I bought a package they would not prepare one of the bagels at all. False advertising.
