Fantastic and engaging scuba instruction. I’ve had so many great experiences with One Ocean. Me and my Girl Scout troop had a discover scuba session with Cindy and had an awesome time. Cindy and the One Ocean instructors are incredible teachers and have set me on a path to continue diving any chance I get. The shop also has a great selection, and has very good vibes. So glad I got certified here!

I completed my open water certification confined dives with Cindy and Frank. I cant recommend them highly enough! They were communicative, professional, accommodating, patient, and made the whole experience fun/enjoyable. If youre considering completing a PADI education course in the Baltimore/DC area, Id highly recommend their expertise.

Several years ago, I met the owner of One Ocean Scuba when she was leading a dive trip to the Galapagos Islands. I had never been on a liveaboard before, and I was a bit nervous about everything that entailed, along with the fact that the diving was going to be more challenging than what I was used to. From the beginning, Cindy put me at ease, answering my many questions about gear, conditions, etc. Once I met her and the rest of her group in Ecuador, I knew instantly that I had made the right choice. Cindy makes sure that every diver feels comfortable, is following proper safety guidelines, and is having fun along the way. I consider this trip one of the best I have ever been on, diving or otherwise.Since then, I have had the pleasure of going on another dive trip with this group, as well as taking my Dive Master training course with Cindy. I am constantly amazed by her patient and calm manner of instruction. She never raises her voice, makes you feel insecure, or rushes you. And for someone like myself, who was a nervous diver for a long time, this makes all the difference.I cannot recommend One Ocean Scuba enough. Although I no longer live in the DMV region, I am planning to travel back to continue taking coursework with Cindy and purchasing gear from the shop. I have actually considered retaking classes with Cindy that I have previously taken elsewhere, because I feel as though I could learn even more with her as the instructor. And, of course, I look forward to future dive trips with this group.

I took my initial scuba certification class from Cindy Rosselle. I had done a few beginner dives and was excited to become certified. I was 58 years old at the time so I was a little anxious whether I would do well with the skills and equipment. But, not to worry, Cindy was a fantastic instructor. She is very patient and very good at helping students master the skills and become comfortable with diving. She told me she remembers how it feels to be new to diving and learning unfamiliar skills so she is able to empathize with her students learning experiences. She has a great sense of humor too, so her classes were always fun. I was so happy to become certified and feel comfortable with diving.Since then I have been on many wonderful trips that Cindy has organized-St. Lucia, Turks and Caicos, Fiji, boat diving in Belize and many others. She thoroughly researches the resorts and dive operations we will be using and every time has chosen dive operations that gave us a great experience and that made safety a priority. She has also chosen excellent resorts so our out of water experiences are equally fun. Thanks to Cindy I have had a wonderful time diving for the last 14 years and am looking forward to being a part of the next trip she puts together. If you are wondering if diving is for you, Cindy and her instructors will introduce you to a new world full of beauty, fun and adventure. I highly recommend that you give them a try.
