This is definitely my first and last time patronizing ace sliver spring, the customer service is horrible Jim the store worker was very rude and hostile…. Who approaches a customer and says WHAT snatches items away from customer then starts yelling. Something as simple as me seeking assistant for a replacement screw Shouldn’t have turn into a teaching lesson on how to speak to people!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Drew! He saved the day when he helped find a part for our plumbing issues. He went above and beyond, and we were so impressed!

I came in to grab a few household necessities with my disabled father over the weekend. They seemed to be over staff with all the workers lounging around sharing intimate stories. I found the way they talk to me at the key kiosk intimidating and rude, felt threatened to even ask questions with the type of language that used. Then at the register, the Asian American girl decides not to converse with my father but with her surrounding coworkers, describing one who wasnt present as “short, white, and fat.” I find this type of body shaming language crude. But especially in front of a person who would fit that description shopping at that moment.

Don’t bother ordering online for pickup. Order around 4pm, arrived at the store at 7pm and order was still not ready for pick up. Ended up getting it myself🤦🏾‍♀️ They store was empty and the manager has the nerve to tell me they was busy today! Well excuse me lady, three customers in a store doesn’t equal busy to me plus I’m a paying customer so i don’t care about how busy you are, have my order ready as you promised.

Awesome place! We do a lot of DIY and try to fix things ourselves, so having the awesome folks at Silver Spring Ace to help us find the best tools and materials has been a huge help!

The stars are for Dave! Just moved to the area, and had no idea there was a hardware store next to Whole Foods!When I found planters I liked 2 weeks ago, I needed 4 pots, but I also needed holes at the bottom for drainage, and the store personnel -a man- I talk to told me: We dont do that! so I went home and ordered from Amazon.This morning, Dave told me: I could make holes for you!, I was nicely surprised but the planters I wanted are now gone. Just wish I had talked to Dave 2 weeks ago!

Staff EXTREMELY helpful. Dont let the size fool you. Nine times out of ten, you need it, they have it!

Just a good hardware store. Now under new management, who dont stock the weird, kinky, whimsical household items the old owners did. Still a reliable source for nuts and screws.

I needed sand for my kid’s science experiment. I called, they checked if they had it. 50 lb and 5 lb bag in stock. So I chose the 5 lb, got in the car with kids. Upon arrival there was at the register waiting for me.

Place is the worse. Customer service is the worse They act like they really not trying to be bothered with black customer. Ask me me to leave because my mask was not fitting property it was all I had. Got some young black kid in there in harms way SMDH
