Always good with items and exceptional staff. Perhaps management could mitigate bad manners by some customers. Would be nice to place signs in several languages all over that... once you get in the check out line no more adding items. This really happens alot. I get in line with say 5 items and get in the line with the least amount of items in front of me. Not people. One person 59 items or two people with 3 each type thing. A person with 3 items has a runner filling up the cart to 200 items while the other waits in line. Last week it happened I said nothing and just looked at the ladies cart not her and she yells at me about do I have a problem. I dont engage folks like that. I cant expect the staff to get involved they are doing their jobs. Maybe just have signs or someone dedicated to stopping it while it is happening.

Clean and well organized. A similar shopping experience to the European market. However, the lack of organic products is notorious, mainly in fruits and vegetables. Most of the clothing, brick, and mortar, and other offers are missing in Aldi US.

This ALDI always has what I need. They consistently have a wide range of healthy, organic, and plant based options for prices you simply cannot beat. They also have the BEST oat milk. And if you’re lucky you can snag house plants too! All 3 pictured were a total of $17 including pots. Just bring a quarter to borrow a cart and your own reusable shopping bags!

Almost empty of customers which was surprising. Fully stocked. Adequate employee staff. Very relaxing and comfortable with the easy to maintain social distancing.

Its good, I like the products some might say they need more cashiers, but unfortunately thats not their fault there is and shortage on workers. Overall I reccomend this location just be patient while in line.

They got good price for everything,fast check out and neat store BUT watch those cashiers.. theyre fast but NOT accurate..they threw your stuffs into the cart as fast as they could, scan as fast as they could but double scanned things so you ended up pay for more items than you actually bought. They over charged me a few times already..last time I had to carry 2 heavy bags back to the store, waited like a dog no one cared..to get my money back because they charged me 4 tins of cookies instead of 3 !!!and they never apologized!!! I had to contact the headquarter..the online customer service team were much nicer. Watch out when you check out.

I always go to this ALDIS its fantastic the people are awesome and helpful the employees are very friendly and helpful the food is very good produce is very good.

Things get over realky quick. Midday kinda time is best to buy groceries. Hate the coin system for taking carts but appreciate it because people return carts to original place.

This ALDIS has very good produce and really good deli meats they have Organic lemonade and good fruits there cheaper than Walmart so check it out you wont be disappointed

I love how it’s organized almost every single time I come in there especially in the early mornings. All the employees seem to be in a good mood most of the time and are also very helpful when you have a question. Remember it’s an Aldi’s so they do go fast and you have to bag it yourself in a separate counter but I honestly prefer that.

Convenient location and fair prices on groceries

Wonderful food but evil customer service from a cashier named Noah at the Georgia Avenue store in Silver Spring. He picked an argument with me. Other times the workers there are rude. They sweep over and around customers. Usually their poor customer service is ignored because the quality of the food is clean, looks safe and the prices of it are good.

The manager needs to get on top of his employees and explain that they are not the mask Nazis thought just because they dont like the mass that you have on does not mean that they gets a comment or try and make you change masks! Whether its something I have written on my mask or the style of mask I have Dash they dont get to make any decision regarding what style type brand or saying I have on my mask! Lines move fast and the associates are polite. They have good selections at reasonable prices but their bagged gala apples have rotted out. This happened multiple times so far. Fingers crossed for the ones I bought yesterday.

Went here to this location for first time and I noticed the prices here are much higher and than any other one in the area. I typically shop Aldi and have been to the locations in District Heights, MD; Oxon Hill, MD; NE DC, and 3 locations in Virginia. The selection was standard with what you find in Aldi. Idk if it’s because of the pandemic but some of these items are the same price and the name brands at the grocery store. I shop here for the discounts but I don’t feel like I saved that much in this trip compared to visiting Giant or Safeway or even my many other trips to this store. Just a note!

I have been to this Aldis several times. When going early in the morning, sometimes the shelves are not stocked. They do correct this quickly. They sometimes are slightly under staffed, but do a pretty good job of making things run smoothly. Its worth going to save a significant amount of money over all of the other grocery store options in the region.

Good manager and staff. Produce quality is always fresh and the best low prices in the area. Food and merchandise prices throughout the store in general are very budget friendly. I like exploring their merchandise aisle. Ive found the most innovative and useful items which are normally a one time sell, but gives room for different product variety. I make sure I visit this aisle constantly as if on a treasure hunt!

I have been to several ALDIs in the area and this is definitely one of the best. It was very clean and organized. It also seems to be bigger and have more options than some of the others Ive been to. It wasnt too busy when I came so I was served fairly quickly even though only 2 aisles were open. Overall, a very great experience.

I save over 80 to $100 by going here rather than going to Giant and the food is often fresher. highly recommend I cant believe that Ive lost all this money over the years being ripped off by Giant and Safeway.The only thing different is you have to bag your own groceries. But its easy and its worth the savings.

Update to my first review:Terrible customer service again. There were about 10-12 people waiting in line. The cashier refused to call someone for backup. Once the line went down another cashier came from stocking to assist at the cash register.The employee was rude and demanded that I take a shopping cart into the store when I needed one thing. She preceded to argue in front of other customers. She was very rude and took her greeter job wayyyyy too seriously!

I like this store and was excited to finally have one near my house. However, this location usually only 2 registers open on any given day, 3 if they finally notice that the lines are halfway down the grocery aisles. Also, be careful when purchasing fresh produce. As a lot of it has a tendency to be about to spoil or over ripe, which means you will have to eat or cook it within a day or two.

Great bargains; lots of nutritious foods and nice household goods choices. But the wait in line is often far too long! Today, three cashiers suddenly shrank to two. The operative words became wait, wait, and wait some more. To their credit, cashiers are polite and efficient. Unfortunately, dash-in/dash-out (1-2 items) shoppers get stuck behind stocking up (weekly/bi-weekly/once a month; basket over-flowing) shoppers. Ugh!

Generally speaking, Ill very satisfied with this place. The fresh fruits and vegetables are better than other stores, shelves are well stocked and prices are excellent. Service is decent, not always as super friendly or top tier like in other stores. Check out of actually faster than most other stores, but they dont bag your stuff so be ready for that. And bring a quarter to unlock your shopping cart. Yes, its annoying but the system totally works.

Vegetables & fruits are often well stocked & fresh. Modest selection but just right and price is of course very reasonable. You can basically get most essential items here.Being a German based store, the chocolate and occasional sweet treats are good, but overall, behind Lidl on the frozen sweet selection. I just hope the stores keep close to what theyve been doing in Germany and not cater to blandness and over sweetened stuff for the American market.Id like to see more country of origin info, because I avoid made in China food stuff. Both Aldi & Lidl tend to not label country of origin on a number of items. Thus, I dont buy them. China has a long way to go on food safety & the systemic corruption doesnt help keep safety inspection trustworthy, at least not yet.As for the store, both Aldi & Lidl move the lines quickly, and having phone payment helps a lot, too. Lidl is a bit better with self checkouts & technical implementation-wise. While the two stores compete, I find them somewhat complementary. Some products are just better or more available at one store while others are better at the other. I shop at both.The Aldi & Lidl phone apps need to improve a lot more, such as keeping receipts & purchase history, getting rid of paper and move to touchless completely. Just follow Walmart example. Technology is there, its a matter of initiative & implementation.As a customer, you can surely help add to the value of the store, too. Keep yourself & others safe. Wear your mask completely, not just on the mouth, leaving out the nose. We now know aerosol infection is real and a big part of it. Thats breathing, folks!
