Pretty nice international store. They have most of the things I used to enjoy back home, even the bread (kumba bread) that comes from a specific region...its been years since I tasted that bread and was delighted to find it here.

We come here a lot and most of the items we looking for are here. The fish market is nice but aometimes it gets too busy. Some of the areas were not organize properly but I find ny ways around.

More selection than Super Best in Laurel and much cleaner. It isnt Hmart in Ellicott for sure. Seafood selection is usually good along with produce. Decent rice selection to choose from. The bad... Prices are a little on the high side unless on sale. Perishable items are not consistent in freshness(produce, fish, meat). Basically items are on the shelf longer than they should be. Location is not ideal as with Super Best, lock your car and pay attention to your surroundings.

They are a very good market for Asian and international foods they carry a variety of foods from Indian to African think of making something different tonight and find the ingredients at a regular grocery store try these guys they probably will have it.

I go this store Beca of Indian grocery, but it’s not clean as it can be, and also they charge me twice of one thing and it happen with me two time,they charge me total 10 bucks up but I don’t have time to go back waste my time for 10 bucks but be careful for next time…. Check side by side while they are charging you….

Ive moved 5month ago to this area.I am a regular costumer of this store, I rate it a 5 stars without any doubt.The price is reasonable and the meat is very fresh.When I need meat, I go the store every time. And the meat make me satisfiedI like that store.

The place has a wide selection and fairly reasonable when it comes to pricing. Unfortunately for me I didn’t check my receipt when leaving the store. However when I got home I realized the amount charged was way more than the groceries bought. After going through my receipt I realized I was charged $25.00 for an item that I did not purchase. I had no clue whatsoever what the item was. I called the store immediately and customer service requested that I go back.. the inconvenience, gas to drive back but I had to. After much reviewing, checking video surveillance etc the supervisor verified that indeed I was erroneously charged.. they couldn’t even figure out what the item in question was, They were quick however to point out it was a wrong code error. They issued a refund but am not at all pleased. Will never ever go back to this store again. Daylight Robbery!!PLEASE PLEASE PEOPLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THIS STORE!!!!

As a regular costumer of this store, I rate it a 5 stars without any doubt. The store is well equipped with foods from various origins. From African to Latino all those looking for exotic dishes are well served. Huge parking space outside. Also enjoy the Hispanic background music. Prices are good for what you buy. Its just like an H Mart

Less upscale than others like Korean korner or hmart, but close to home, great staff, and having most of what I need for Japanese /Chinese cuisine and excellent variety.

Its stinks in there bad, there prices are crazy high, no good selection in Meats department, there meat goes bad in 2 days so I dont meat from there no more...

An exciting place for an Anglo to shop! Filled with new and exotic flavors from around the world. Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, South Asian, and more groceries. Good prices on poultry and seafood, too.

Nice place for international herbs and produce, bulk packaged frozen meats, spices, and packaged ethnic foods from around the world. Wide selection of rices and flours. I personally avoid the seafood, although it mostly looks fresh enough. Truly fresh seafood doesnt generally have a strong odor.Prices are outstanding and you can find things here that are hard to find anywhere else. We shop here regularly even though it is a few miles out of our way.

Strong fishy odor upon entry. They display the whole fish in vats of ice and stack it two or three high. This keeps the bottom layer cold but not the fish above.

It has all the Indian stuff. The meat was fresh. Good quality of products. All in one store.

The store is fantastic with an emphasis on East Asian and Latino cuisines. Enormous variety, ridiculously cheap fruit, and modest prices on many things although they also carry expensive goods.

I LOVE this place! Aisle 2 is my favorite. The Philippines section is so tasty with lots of varieties. The market as well as the whole shopping center just feels like being back home. That old school culture feeling! I will always shop here as long as it exist. :D

There is a great variety of food. The problem is there were way too many people not wearing masks properly. This includes customers and employees. It is crowded in the evening.

I had several bad experiences with a particular guy in the fish department. I really don’t want to specify his name and ruin his life. He is very rude and always has an attitude with the customers. This incident happened last week, It was 6:40pm and I got 3 different types of fish worth around $80 and I saw this mean guy on the counter and I always try to avoid this guy and waited for about 5 minutes pretending to check on other fish. But unfortunately he was not moving away from the counter and finally I have to go to him at 6:45pm because they close at 7 pm. Immediately this guy was very mad at me and said they are already closed. I showed him the open sign they had there and also told him it was only 6:45 but this man was very upset and I had to leave because I don’t like to argue with him and went straight to the customer service and reported the incident and the guy in the customer service he just started looking at the cameras and said they close the fish department at 7pm and he don’t know why they closed at 6:45 pm that day. He also didn’t help me. This is really a bad customer service. I wish the owner or the manager read my review and train their staffs about the importance of CUSTOMER SERVICE 👎👎👎👎

Global Foods became the anchor store (Supermarket) in Outlet Drive after Safeway Foods shut its doors here. I love this place for the variety of fresh (and frozen) seafood. On most days, you can find a nice selection of fresh fish like Red Snapper, Cod, various grades of Salmon, Swordfish, Shark, squid, shrimps and even Grouper on my lucky day, at a reasonable price. You can find the typical Supermarket items ranging from fresh Vegetables to Meats, Canned foods and Sodas. Since, Global foods competes with major Supermarket chain stores, its prices are cheaper on most items when compared to the big box stores. Good service at the checkout.

Mostly happy there is a decent grocery store within the walking distance from my house. Love the diversity. Probably the only place for miles where you can find buckwheat. Prices are mostly acceptable. Could be cleaner, smell less, and price tags could be more consistent with the real price. I dont buy dairy here, so cant comment on expiration dates, noted by the other reviewers.

True to its name, this grocery store has international foods from diverse regions of the world (pretty much every inhabited continent). They also sell Asian pots, pans, dishes and utensils. There is a small Korean restaurant and drug store as well. This store is not upscale and is quite reasonably priced. If you are off a particular ethnicity, you can probably find a more extensive store that may suit your needs in the area (more specialized), but you may have to travel a bit farther and pay more.

Love Global foods. Each aisle is designated for a region or country, making it very easy to find what you need, and to discover new favorites. Got lots of international sweet treats for holiday gifts that were a hit!

I love having an international good market so close to my home. You can get great deals on vegetables and meats. (Although sometimes I suspect that the meat isnt responsibly sourced). There are Indian products, Korean, African, etc. There is also a hot food bar that serves great bibimbap and fried chicken.

Fresh & authentic food products from accross the globe but available daily!

They have most of ethnic items I look for, and the seafood dept has a large variety of fresh seafood. There is a smell that hits you at the front door from the seafood dept. as it is straight back from the front door and it does get stronger, but the freshness and variety is awesome.

If you want tons of produce (fruits & vegetables) and or ethnic food you may find what you want here. My impression of this store was not the cleanest or appealing ESTHECIALLY But you can purchase a variety of PRODUCE here! Also SEAFOOD seems to be another major attraction. Parking is easy. Has handicapped places and entrance. Do not think you will find name brands at this grocery store. If you want main brands this is not the grocery store to frequent! If you love fresh veggies that typical grocers dont carry youll possibly find it here along with fruits!

I was sad to see Safeway go and I wasnt too sure if a International store would be good for the Briggs Chaney area in respect to the shopping center being know for crime. In all honesty I just wanted a clean, respectful International store. So far the store is clean, however the Asian staff is not so helpful (mostly the women). They talk to you like they dont want you there maybe its cultural. Anyway, they have a nice produce selection and a great deal of Latino items which I really like.

Nice international food good prices

It made me give 1 star but I’m giving 0 verbally It’s run by money hungry Asians. I have never shopped at a store where an item is missed marked and the store didn’t honor the price. The item I picked up was marked as $1.29 and the item was fully stocked with multiples behind it, but it rang up as $2.99. As I explained to the manager the price marked should be honored and they can remove that price or remove those items to the correct spot but that it is not the customers fault. He didn’t care he wanted me to pay that money so instead I left the store and all my items I refuse to spend lots of money in a store where you have no respect for the consumers that are spending money.

I was very excited to discover this store which is closer to me that driving to Baltimore. However; they were so rude and dismissive. I had a cart with stuff and I walked out and left it right there. And off to Baltimore I went were they know how to provide good customer service!!! I will never go back there and I will never reccomend. Respect

Wosh they would just bring the Safeway back. This place stinks like rotten fish and the food is very suspect. I wonder when the Food and Health services are gonna do their random inspection and shut this spot down.

They have a diverse array of food from around the world, but thier prices are on the high end.

There are many reasons to like this place but if you travel internationally, are a foodie or if you love multicultures, you will feel right at home in this store. It’s 35 minutes from Annapolis. It is so cool. I found a couple jars of unique olives—complete with non-English labels—-and not available locally at Grauls or Giant. The fish section is unbelievable, it was more prolific than Whole Foods. Every aisle will blow you away if you are not tied to the preprocessed food religions of Nabisco, Nestle and Coke.Definitely worth visiting.

The store reeked of bad meat and seafood as soon as I walked in. Not only that, but some of the items on the shelves (depending on which aisiles you walk down) the packaging of the items were a lighter shade of color indicting to me that theyve been on the shelf so long its started to sun bleach. Overall not impressed. Ill stick with my H-Mart in Ellicott City.
