I brought a new-to-me guitar to Mark to have someone with more knowledge and experience give it a review. I thought it played fine when I dropped it off, but it played significantly better after his work. His service and communication were top notch. He gave me an idea what work/cost to expect when I dropped it off, confirmed it all via email after he gave the guitar a proper review, and had the work done and ready for pickup with a quick turn around. I would not hesitate to take him another guitar needing a basic set up or more involved work.

Mark provides his professional grade craftsmanship at really competitive prices. He help me upgrade the electronics (pickups + all the wiring) of a used guitar I bought some time ago. He guides you thru the whole process, making sure you are getting the most for the money you want to spend on such a project. He also did a full set up (action/intonation/truss rod adjustment, etc.). This guitar now plays like a guitar worth 10x what I paid for it. I also had him handcraft a bone nut for the guitar; the finish was completely scratch-free, absolutely perfect! Took a used tele for a set up and some bridge and nut work and couldn’t be happier. Super responsive and detailed with everything you need to know to make a guitar play and feel it’s best. Mark made my tele go from good to great! I’ll definitely go back to him for more service!

I had a tight truss rod on my tele, and Mark did an awesome job getting it properly set up. Fair prices, nice guy, and his place is conveniently located near downtown Silver Spring. Would definitely take another one of my rigs to him
