Good pizza. Ordered original cheese w/spinach, pepperoni, and Italian sausage. The red pizza source is okay. Needs seasoning.

Ordered the manicotti formagio pasta .It was plentful and in point .May be the manicotti was a little underbaked as u like mine somewhat crispy but it was good nonthless😉

Wings were good! Pizza was good! But unfortunately, I found a piece of hair in my pasta. The service was fast and the staff was nice and took care of the pasta issue. I’m willing to give them another try.

Less than 24 hours ago, my husband and I agreed to order some food from Frankie’s Italian Kitchen & Bar in Silver Spring Maryland. My husband got a meatball sandwich and some chicken parmesan while I selected the beef cannelloni and we were going to share a foccacia bread appetizer. The pros/good points of the order: Our food arrived in a reasonable timeframe from doordash and the beef cannelloni tasted ok though the bread in the foccacia bread appetizer tasted differently than I hoped, though there was enough spinach/spring lettuce parmesan tomatoes to save in the form of a salad for another day. The beef cannelloni was ok enough to save for another day just far from something I would order a second time around even though I normally enjoy certain forms of pasta. I am grateful to have paid for the meal though the jury is out on if I would convince my husband to order from Frankie’s Italian Kitchen & Bar (it was my idea for us to try this place and my husband had kindly agreed to the idea).

Sunday. I have call serval times. The website says it opens at 10am. No answer. Very poor communication. The website should truly reflect your business true working hours. To help your customers with planning and requesting their orders.

This place has great food. The best chicken Ive had in a while. My daughter & I ate here after a movie. Now I know the food is good here so Ill order from here through Uber Eats.

This place has very good pizza. No idea what these bad reviews are about. Order here mostly take out quite a bit. Never been bad. As far as staff, I’ve never had a problem there either. Try it, you’ll like it.

I don’t even know where to start or how to write this without it being five paragraphs and lots of expletives.I ordered from them through DoorDash on 9/6. We ordered two pastas - mine came with raw (seriously pink) meatballs and I was sick for two days. DoorDash refused to refund me because the restaurant wasn’t cooperating. I was able to finally pick up a replacement item for the same value today on 9/14 and I even purchased a Tiramisu to accompany my “hopefully” delicious calzone.I should mention I had to fight to get the calzone initially because they didn’t want to honor that I paid more for their food through DD than what’s on their menu in-house. When I first let them know about my issue - they didn’t really care much. It was appalling.Now...My calzone felt apart into Mariana sauce guts and little meat or cheese and it tasted like salt and sauce. I felt no love put in it and the dessert I purchased was definitely cheaply made and disappointing.Poor customer service, food quality and high prices for why they offer - the U st location was good to me for years. This location is a joke.P.S - Young lady working with blonde highlights was very nice at pick up. I was pointing out that the manager (sounded like a young man) over the phone wasn’t very pleasant.0/10 Would not recommend.

Update: 09/14/19Second time in for pickup. The first time the girlwas not friendly, and I just ignored it.This time, she said about two words, I paid. She walked away. No further communication.I told her I would appreciate it if she would communicate with me. For instance, I requested a receipt, but didnt get it. I told her she should tell the customer how long it would take for their food to be ready and what was going on with the receipt -- as she just assumed I knew every part of the process.The whole time, she just kept talking with a million excuses, but still no answers to the questions I wanted answers to.She walked over to me later and decided she wanted to have a conversation about how she was going to give me a receipt (blah, blah, blah). Why couldnt she have done that after I paid instead of letting me just stand there like, what next?She kept wanting to argue and I said to her three times, Im done. She kept talking until I said, did you hear what I said? Im done. She finally walked away.A more customer friendly young man brought my food out and asked questions (i.e., communicated with me). I appreciate him, and their food, but this review has gone from ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars to ⭐ and I will not be ordering from them again. They dont get that there are hundreds of other restaurants in the area.Tip: When you walk by a restaurant or go in and there is never anyone sitting in there, take that as a clue that something is wrong. In this case there is a serious customer service issue.The Italian Kitchen needs to read and respond to their reviews. SMH 🙄--------------------------------------------------I ordered from the Italian Kitchen and had it delivered and have also ordered and picked up.Both times I ordered the Manicotti Quattro Formaggi and Garlic Bread Stick and both times it was more than delicious. 😋I also ordered the chocolate cake, which was just okay.The only complaint is that the first time the Manicotti had some really hot pepper 🥵 in it that burned my mouth. Fortunately, it wasnt throughout just in a portion of the Manicotti. The next time I ordered it, there was no hot pepper.I highly recommend this place. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ive been getting this delivered since the pandemic hit and it is delicious pizza!! The food is great, the delivery is FAST, and will absolutely keep ordering from them. I order through their website so Grubhub doesnt take a chunk of the profits, and its been very easy to do!

A lot to love about this place and just how simply hidden it is in the rounds of Downtown Silver Spring. Wasnt a fan of finding parking around here but then again, where are you truly finding it a delight to park anywhere?The food was simple, readily available, nice little atmosphere where its not terribly crowded yet its not empty where youd find terribly alone if youre going by yourself. Its so simple, so delicious, just the right amount of choices where youre not going to be reading through the menu for eternity.Ill be going back for more and maybe even go during its busy times.

It is a basic Italian restaurant. Food is decent if your not looking for anything spectacular. Would recommend for a quick bite.

Food is good, but nothing special. There werent any clean tables (and only 2 other tables in use). One bartender/server who was friendly but never asked if we needed or wanted anything. Pizza is good but so is another restaurant down the street with more attentive service. This pizza is closer to the NJ style I like. And their jumbo slice is just that - jumbo.

People are so lovely and happy to serve theyre costumers. They do always treat well, dont forget to ask for theyre special soup.

Service was TOO FAST. I went in hoping to kill five minutes on my lunch break and bam, as soon as I ordered my jumbo slice was ready and perfectly cheesy. Staff is trained in CIA levels of body language, because they can always tell Im going to order the usual before I can open my mouth. Quality pizza with good cheese to sauce ratio.

Highly recommended! Ive been here 4 times and has never disappointed me in any aspect.The pizza is awesome as well as the service plus the place has a very cozy atmosphere.

Great food at cheap prices! The calzones are as big as your head and twice as tasty, but I had the spinach salad with chicken on my previous visit. I was not disappointed. This salad filled me up and might have been sufficient for for two days.Love this place!

Im a little disappointed that there arent any choices if you didnt want to eat bread, pizza or pasta. But it seems quite popular for the pizza and Id love to come back and try some. Seating is limited as most people seem to prefer takeout.Parking is hard to come by, there are a couple of public parking lots 2-3 blocks away on either side on the street.

Food is good, service nice. Great for take out. We ate in, it was about 98 degrees inside, no AC, no fan.

This place is AMAZING! I’m a big pizza fan and usually very picky about what toppings and types I get. I tried the Paradiso pizza today and literally demolished it. The chicken was so tender, cheese melted in my mouth and the olives added extra flavor to it. I would definitely go back to get another one. My cousin got the Chicken Paradiso panini which was also amazing!!!

The pizza is the best in the area. Whole kalamata olives, whole roasted garlic cloves, excellent whole wheat crust. I havent tried anything else but my son got the lasagna and it looked good. we have not eaten in -- always take out.

Best cheesy bread Ive had ever. Perfect ratio of cheese to bread. But I received the smallest cup of marinara sauce, I wasnt too happy about that.The Caprese panini was outstanding.Not enough cheese and bacon on my fries, so there is room for improvement there.Overall, solid restaurant. Rude rude rudest kid is the manager at this place. Very dirty place! I dont even know how this kid become a manager. There were dirts in the draft I was having so when I showed him he said you want refund very disrespectfully! No sorry no nothing. He claim to be all time manager and mentioned the owner doesnt care about the place so he doesnt come there at all. I hope I dont get sick this time and I will neber go to there

We have passed by this restaurant many times, finally had a chance to eat there. We thought the food overall was very high quality for casual dining. The small area with tables was very clean. The service was excellent including repeated refills of tap water without asking (they have regular and sparkling bottled water as well). We had an excellent spinach salad, manicotti and ravioli (meatless all around). The red sauce was delicious on the manicotti and the entrees were served hot. I want to go back and try other dishes including the pizza. They serve beer on tap and wine. There are three screens often showing sports which isnt our preferred atmosphere but the sound was kept low.

I placed a large order for delivery for an event I was having at my workplace. (I called the day prior and specified the time, knowing that it was a large order. I was assured that it would be delivered at the time requested.)The pizzas and salads were a full 30 minutes late. I called twice and the two people I spoke with seemed very unconcerned about the status of my order. It was very inconvenient to have to interrupt our guest speaker when the food was *finally* delivered. I will never again place an order from this establishment.

I will never in my life order from here again ! Worst $30 spent on food, should have went with the go to dominos. First- Took 2 hrs to deliver. Last night they charged me for my order then called and said they couldnt deliver so they would refund me but they didnt. I called today and asked for resolution. They made my order and I picked it up but it was very poorly made. Not going back.

We were looking for an itallian place with good pasta and pizza when we stumbled upon this place. Both times we ate from here we got delivery and they were very prompt and the good was hot still. The food was excellent! We have tried their Italian fries with bacon and cheese, the portabella pizza, the chicken Alfredo, the caprese salad and their pepperoni pizza and all of it was amazing! I would definitely recommend this place!

Great service, great food, and family friendly. Weve been back multiple times and havet been let down yet. I highly recommend the bruschetta. It comes with four servings piled high with tomatoes and parmesan. Delicious!

Pizza is above average—not amazing but worth the price. However, the paninis are hands down amazing; best sandwiches in Silver Spring for the price. The fresh baked bread makes the difference. 3 stars because the lunch specials arent exactly giving you a deal—they are the same price as the normal menu items, and one time I went here with someone, and they got attitude for asking a small change (type of cheese) to accomidate for a dietary ristriction.

I order a calazone and I get nothing but pepperoni and sausage, almost no cheese whatsoever. Meanwhile you order a chicken parm and you can literally eat the piece of chicken they give you in 3 bites.... At least the tiny piece of chicken I got in the giant bowl of spaghetti was breaded.... because their chicken parm panini had chopped chicken...

Chicken Alfredo was meh. Noodles were over cooked and pasty. No seasoning was used in the making of this meal.And the toast was a piece of pizza crust. Alfredo caused a bad stomachache.
