I literally drive about 1hr 20mins every couple weeks or so to support this shop. Quite possibly the best prices for products I’m in search of. The king here is very welcoming.

Hands down the best card shop in all of Ventura County. Mike is an awesome owner and very welcoming to everyone that comes in. Great prices on all new products. If you are interested in Pokémon or magic, definitely check a hidden fortress out!

Honestly super chill store. I only went to grab a Flesh and Blood box but will be excited to see this place over in Vegas for The Calling.

Went for their grand reopening event. Had a great time playing draft and commander MTG formats. They have enough space for a few groups of players to play at their store.

Practically been there since I was a kid, Hidden Fortress is the epitome of a comic book store, set aside in a corner near a pizza place with friendly guys working there. Over twenty years the place has helped with getting us comics and games in the simi valley area or hosting Card Game Tournaments. I still go there to buy dice and rule books, still awesome.

This is the local comic store. Its got everything you need, the people are helpful and knowledgeable. They have some obscure stuff, not a lot, good selection of local comics and art books. They have a small gallery in the back that can have some awesome stuff from time to time.

Terrible phone reception. Slim to none stocked singles collection. Owner seems as though he cares little for his store and that sentiment extends to his customer base.

Been going there off and on since I was a kid. Owner is one of the most genuine and nicest people Ive ever met, and is very knowledgeable about his products. Cannot recommend them enough!

I havent been here in a long time. They removed the majority of the comics to only a small selection. Its mostly a card and board game store. Ive known the owner, ED, for many years, and he was always cool to me. He helped buy me the V the series comics, Godzilla magazines, and some other stuff when I had the money. Now this place is the only store in Simi Valley that sells new comics. I rarely buy comics and only go to this store on Free Comic Day.Today, I showed up for free comics day. I picked up one each as I have done every year, never had a problem, or complaint from ED or his staff. However, today, the guy working there, got confrontational in my face and demanded why am I taking one each. I said, Im only taking one each, as I have done every year and no one complained about it. He said, are you going to read all of them?! He said theres going to be people coming by to get free comics themselves, and he cant have people like me taking all of them. I said politely that ED and the previous staff never had a problem with me taking once each. He looked irritated and displeased with my comments. He gave me a bag to put the comics in. I decided to look at the comics that I got and put most of them back. I apologized and he still didnt look happy. He gave me a displeased smile and I walked out.I was very disappointed about how he behaved and acted. I didnt get his name, but he didnt act professional. He was confrontational, like he wanted to fight me over some comics. I didnt want to make a big fuss over it as I put many back. I wished ED the owner was there, and hopefully hell get this message. Furthermore, Ill change the review if I can get some answers and if Im at fault, Ill admit to it. I didnt think the guy getting into my face over taking one each, was such a big deal. It wasnt a problem before. But today it was.

Fun place to play games. great customer service. Always willing to help you out with what ever gaming needs you have.

Great shop, gaming tables, toys, games, smaller comic selection but they do pull lists so you can get your subscription here. Family owned and operated. This has been my stop for decades. They are typically open later than 9 on gaming nights, they like to stay open as long as people are playing and doing business

The staff are friendly, and they help you find what you need. The owner is also often willing to offer deals when buting stuff. Would recommend.

Friendly local shop. Not the biggest selection, but they have stuff from all the different games. From magic to heroclix to Pokemon to comics. This place has a little bit of everything.

For the most part this is decent comic book store. Some things I noticed is that all new comics are all mixed up. There isnt any place for DC or Marvel or any other type of comics. For cards there seems to be a wide variety. Unfortunately this store is rather small so it may be hard for some to move around. Customer service is great and they try to make you at home.

Lovely little shop. My only wish is that it was a little bigger but staff is friendly and selection is good. Its a very nice local shop.

Not really a comic book shop. They have more manga, graphic novels and Magic the Gathering cards then anything. This store leans more towards games and carries some comics. If your looking to pick up single issue comics, dont bother coming here, I stopped by with a list of comics including Spider Man, Deadpool and Martian Manhunter, and they didnt have a single one. Plus they have horrible hours and are open between 12 and 3, depending on the day. Overall its worth a stop if your a true card/miniatures game/comic fan, but for a casual fan its not even worth stopping by.

Great place, spent the afternoon playing D&D here with some friends, absolutely loved it.

I have showed up twice so far and both times they were closed. Once at 5 PM and the other at 3 PM. On a tuesday and wendsday respecctively.

We come here for YuGiOh events and tournaments. The staff is always super helpful - just be sure to call ahead for hours and special events!
