Called and got a quick scheduled date. Technician called before coming out so we knew when to expect him. Once at our home the problem was found to be a defective part which was replaced and fixed our door.Have had some problems with other companies in this area but this was not the case here! Highly recommended!

I put a request in for service on a 14 foot tall garage door. I specifically said “tall” in my request because it’s a big tall door. They sent the residential guy and he didn’t have the know how or tools for the job. After calling the manager/scheduler they agreed to send someone on their commercial side the next day. Two guys showed up. They did the job in about 1 hr and 15 minutes which was tightening the springs and looking at the motor on another other door. I also wanted a quote on installing a motor on the big tall door. I was told they would only bill for 1 guy, but I was billed for 2 hours @ $165/hr plus $69 service call. Total was $408 for this service, I still don’t have a written quote for a motor. It’s been over a week since. To make matters worse, I opened the door last weekend and the spring is wound so tight that the door opens by itself and you have to hold it back from flying up! I will not be calling them ever again! They were nice people that came out (both times), but service is not worth the price especially because it’s not been done correctly! And I wasted almost 2 days off work waiting for the right people to show up! Buyer beware!

They were great, I called after I drove into my garage and realized the garage door opener broke. I had doctor appointment the next day and had a trip away from home planned. I made a phone call immediately and the technician was there the next morning. Very professional and great service. I highly recommend this company.

Called OH Door of Greenville to schedule an appointment for a salesperson to come to my home for a quote to replace my existing garage door. The salesperson arrived, took a few measurements then proceeded to talk about various other subjects for about 30 minutes. I looked over the quote shortly after he left and noticed that he had specified the wrong door for my garage (7 high but should have been 8). I called and told him of the error. He said he would correct and resend it. That was over a week ago and I still have no quote. I would definitely not purchase a door from this business.Additional comment: I received a phone apology from the sales manager, which I appreciated. He assured me that this issue would be corrected.

The spring for our garage door had broken. We called to set an appointment and they came the next day. It only took about 30min to an hour to fix. Quickest and best service we have had EVER! We use our garage as the main point of entrance so we were happy they were able to fix it as soon as possible.

I called wanting to install a garage door. The person answering transferred the call to Sales. No one answered. The original person said to leave name and number and they would call. No one did. I called again hours later. Two people answered and transferred my call. No one picked up. They must be too busy to do any more business.

1. Recently our new Overhead Garage Door (May, 2020) would not close. I called a report in and within an hour a serviceman came out to the house and replaced a defective part in the motor. The door works beautifully again. Now that’s what I call great service!2. Unfortunately though, I must add that when my new door from Overhead Door was installed on May 1, 2020, one of its panels had 2 dents in it from shipping. The installers assured me the dented panel would be replaced as soon as a new one was received. Overhead Door has not followed followed through on this despite two written commitments saying it would do so. Seven months have passed since the door with the dented panel was installed!

Arrived on time, repaired the door expertly. Will use them again and I’d recommend them to anyone who needs garage door repairs.

Last night our garage door stopped working and was askew. After a short evaluation of the situation, we wisely determined that the job was beyond our ability. We checked Nextdoor and saw a number of people had suggested Overhead Door Company. Michael T. arrived on time today and was able to repair the issue that was preventing the door from operating as well as correcting some other potentially dangerous issues that the previous owner of our home had improperly done. The cost was more than reasonable for the prompt, polite and professional work performed by Michael. We had an emergency when I didnt sit my saw horses far away enough from my garage door track and it was just out of sight. I asked my son to close the door and he couldnt see it in the way, so I had to find someone to try and fix my door! I was so upset because we had just moved into our new house! My friend suggested that I call Overhead Door Company, so I did! Because of Covid-19, they were backed up and I have a lot of tools and lawn equipment in my garage and I needed it fixed asap. The guys said it would be about 4 weeks but they could get it installed. So, I asked if they could please move me up if they had any cancelations and he said yes. So, the very next week they had a cancelation and they moved up my appointment at least 2 weeks and sent the greatest guy over, Joe, (originally from Michigan), he was professional, courteous and a very hard worker. I couldnt believe how fast he got it done!!! He was in and out in no time at all and cleaned up everything and explained how to provide the proper maintenance to help prevent further issues. No one had ever told us there was any maintenance needed for a garage door!We would highly and definitely recommend Overhead Door Company to family, friends and strangers! The service technician arrived on time and evaluated the situation. The initial idea was to only replace the drive belt. However, upon further analysis, it was determined that a simple belt replacement without a sprocket and bearing replacement was only going to be a temporary fix.He recommended a complete door operator replacement which included new rail system, new remotes, and key pads. The current operator system had been in service for 18 years. This approach resulted in a completely new system at a very reasonable cost.I was pleased with the service and now have a quality new system that I anticipate years of good service.

We were forced to use Overhead Garage Doors by our builder. We had recently priced various garage door installers for a previous home within the past 6 months. We found Overhead’s prices to be higher and the quality of the opener and keypads to be lower. The service we received from representatives good, but often slow. If you can, take the time and shop around before you commit.

Our garage door with electric opener malfunctioned and my efforts to halt its operation just made it worse; bottom panel looked like a twisted mess by the time I pulled the plug to stop the motor. Called Overhead immediately based on a neighbor’s recommendation; early next morning their service tech Randy came out, and within a half hour had the door back in its tracks and working perfectly. We were amazed at his skill and how quickly he sized up the situation, working very confidently. We will definitely call them again if need be and we recommend them without reservation. Technician was told up-front that the door probably needed to be replaced, charged $70 for a quote that was nothing more than reading off of a stock price list after looking at the door for 30 seconds.....crummy way of doing business.

The door was properly repaired although a light bulb socket still has a problem. It burns bulbs out very quickly.I had to do some minor clean up of the garage floor.
