I saw this place was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and put it on my must see while in Sioux Falls. It did not disappoint! The pork belly gyro was so flavorful and the house fries with the fry sauce where so good. I want to come back and try the Vietnamese sandwich! They have both indoor and an outdoor patio for seating.
Very friendly staff and delicious food! Stopped by on a cross country road trip and did an online order. Order was done right on time and packed up well. Large beer selection as well, we got some of that to go as well. Food was super tasty and good portion sizes, I had the Pork Belly Gyro and it was delicious!
So seen this place on guys show and thought since I was here in sioux falls Id pay it a visit. To me...it was not worth it. I ordered the gyro and what little meat they put on it was chunked and almost burnt. My daughter ordered the naughty fries but by the time they came out..they were soggy from all the pickled veggies on top. I could not with an open heart recommend this place to anyone and I will Definitely not be going back.
The Vietnamese chicken sandwich is the thing to get here. Obviously everyone recommends it but it is a thing to behold. It is crunchy and bursting with flavor, and the aioli and pickled vegetables add a creamy tang. Everything was pretty affordable, being around $10. Great experience and atmosphere.
Saw on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, and HAD to stop on our way back through SD… Great, fast service! All the staff was super friendly and helpful! AMAZING porch dining! The winner meal at the table was the Vietnamese Fried Chicken Banh Mi! I’m not a cauliflower lover, but Guy Fieri said it was “the best curry he’s ever had” so I had to try… it was great—for cauliflower lol!(A little nit-picky, but my husband and I enjoyed the Curried Cauliflower and Pork Parm once we had a little extra salt)
The dining experience was great! We sat in an enclosed patio with a great view. This restaurant was very busy, but the food was delicious and definitely worth the wait!
I had the Szechuan pork belly and fries. The fries were hot and crispy. The dipping sauce had a citrus flavor- not what I was expecting, but pretty good. The pork belly was delish- super flavorful. Cool atmosphere. The place was a little hard to find, but not a big deal. I’d return!
*UPDATE* We visited today and we all LOVED our meals! My mother-in-law & I devoured our Q Burgers, and my husband didnt leave any of his Pork Parm behind. Cant wait to return! We had a GREAT experience back in the summer of 2018, and were looking forward to FINALLY revisiting soon enough when its safe to travel again!Grateful that they look out for the health and safety of their customers and staff!
So patient and helpful to us first time visitors from our of town, offering suggestions and personal recommendations on their menu. Had and loved the Q Burger the Pile of Dirt Porter on tap. Will definitely recommend them and should we return to Sioux Falls again, will come back for more
Delicious food! I ordered the Curried Cauliflower, and it had great Indian spices served on fresh naan bread. If you don’t like spicy/hot food, it was not hot, at least not to me. Staff was courteous and friendly. Great patio; kid friendly. Great craft beers on tap. Very much appreciated the self-serve water station on this 100 degree Independence Day! Would 100% recommend this place!
With description I thought theyd have a Ramen soup but the server said it was only in winter....huh? My hubby s potato soup was good in a small cup and his Vietnamese chicken sandwich didnt taste oriental at all. Just fried chicken in a bun. The bite I had was stringy. My cauliflower curry sandwich was ok but I wouldnt get again. Be aware dogs are allowed and I love dogs, but a guy brought a pretty badly behaved large golden doodle which I thought might jump on me! Please only allow good behaved dogs. This place would feel at home in Portland Oregon as it is fairly woke,
Every time this place is awesome. Their rotating menu is always something new, their standard menu doesn’t have a bad thing on it and they carry a good variety of beers on tap. As an added bonus, they’ve been great in the past year in keeping things as safe as possible for take out or dining on their patio (which is maybe my favorite in town)
Why am I traveling to Sioux Falls to find a good Hawaiian plate? Two scoops rice, two scoops mac salad, and delicious kalbi. Ooh, ka ono!
We grabbed a stack of Trivial Pursuit cards and found out that 90% of the worlds population lives in the northern hemisphere. Fancy.Bomb friesThanks for the radish on my dish, that brightened my whole meal, set my tummy up for adventure.A balmy 25 degrees Fahrenheit outside and the patio is open. On my way out, I met my friend’s dog!
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Really the staff at this place went above and beyond on making my 1 day visit to Sioux Falls memorable. They took care of us and my pup so well, and just were so friendly. The food is super delicious as well.
I rolled in an hour before close. Place still had people ordering… good!!Ordered Vietnamese fried chicken sandwich and fries. The fries were delivered to my table and told my sandwich would be out very soon. I munched on fries and after 10 minutes inquired. “Soon”… I was told. Then finally almost 20 minutes after the fries came out here comes my sandwich. The chicken was burned and grease soaked like a sponge. Tasted like the oil had not been changed in a long time. The chicken had no flavor other that the old grease. Vietnamese infers some flavors and spice to be had.Staff was great but my food experience was not.
Dog friendly spot!I have only been here two times with my dog on our mommy/puppy dates. Charli thinks the chips are perfect ! Myself, I do enjoy the sandwich I always get (the italian!) The service here is wonderful and the staff is very kind and patient with guests who are having trouble choosing between a sandwich or salad. Very clean facilities and very clean dining area, inside and out.Again I only have been here twice but it was a good experience both times. (that is the only reason I have given it 4/5 stars.)
Such nice staff. Setting was very comfortable. Food and drink were good. We enjoyed ourselves! Would visit again.
Shockingly good--one of the best sandwich places Ive ever been to. Their sandwiches and fries are excellent and have considerable variety. Enjoyed the nice beer list as well. Nice counter-serve system and outdoor seating (where we had our dog).
Great, interesting and unique food options, at a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. I had the heirloom BLT, my husband had the pork belly gyro and we shared the fries. Everything was great, I especially liked the fry sauce!
Service was great 👍.The Vietnamese chicken sandwich was great. The Italian sandwich was very different. Like a sour Italian dressing. The fries were great. Not happy with the beer.
We ate here on our way home to St. Louis, Mo. The Vietnamese Chicken Sandwich and Naughty Fries were great. The salads our daughter and son-in-law ordered would have been wonderful had there not been insects in the salad mix, not intended to be part of the salad I must say. When my daughter took the salad back to them, one person said Oh you got a bug The other person at the counter said No good..no good and offered to make another salad. At no point did anyone apologize or offer a refund. Obviously, we did not want another salad because just didnt want to risk anymore moths in the salad. Unfortunately, I will not be back to try the salad to see if we could enjoy an insect free salad.
Delicious sandwiches, every time! When I can convince myself to order something besides the Vietnamese Fried Chicken (which is bomb.com), Im always happy with my choice. Unique flavors, and great food quality. Customer service is top notch. We love the patio, and so does our dog! We also love the craft beer selection (and $3 pints on Mondays!) I also love that Bread and Circus continues to require masks inside the restaurant. I appreciate their commitment to every customer and staff members health and safety.
Fresh ingredients come together to make delicious menu items. They offer the option for any sandwich to be a salad and I was not disappointed. Wonderful staff and beer selection as well!
Driving through Sioux Falls on a road trip and stopped here for dinner. The Moroccan Chicken Salad was amazing. My daughter loved the Gyro. Highly recommend eating here. Service was friendly and fast.
First time at Bread and Circus was on Saturday 8/7/21. Had the Angus burger and Naughty Fries. Burger was fantastic, and the Naughty blew my mind because I never would have thought of the combination of ingredients!! Next time Im going after the Vietnamese Chicken. Excellent choice for a meal
I love this place! The outdoor seating was great, especially with love music going on in the area. The food was so good and they have an iced tea that is unusual and so, so good. If I lived around here, I would go regularly.
I heard about this place from a few people and was suggested to stop down and try it out. All I can say is wow. The food here is amazing. I had the Hawaiian plate and it was just enough to leave me stuffed. The staff here was very helpful and friendly!!! One of those hidden gems!!! Definitely worth a try and I can’t wait to come back and try something different!!!
What an amazing restaurant! We were traveling on I-90, and I can guarantee that hopping off to travel ~10 minutes south of the highway is well, well worth it! We enjoyed a couple of delicious, really unique/special sandwiches and a fresh, tasty salad with a refreshing drink on their spacious, comfortable deck. This place offered a welcome break on a long road trip, and I could not recommend it more!!!
The best falafel in town!! Amazingly friendly staff, awesome eatting environment!! I love having my business lunches here!
Beautiful location and great scenery. The service was wonderful and the people were really sweet and nice. The food was fabulous! I loved the unique menu and the fun options. Loved it!
Had the Pork Parm and that sandwich rocked my world. Practically an inch thick slab of perfectly cooked pork, sauce was delicious, bread was choice👌🏼. Fries are a healthy portion but nothing special, the sandwich is plenty filling by itself with the chips so I barely touched them. Cant wait to come back again!
We came and had a large order with our extended family. It was such a smooth process ordering, everything was correct, and the food was fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful with our kiddos that were with us. I will definitely go back again!!!
This was one of Diners, Drive-In and Dives stops. I had the Vietnamese Fried Chicken, and my husband had the Pork Parm. Both were good and so were the fries. I also got the Parlour Ice Cream in the Cookies-n-cream flavor. Good Lawd, it was DELICIOUS! Creamy, smoothly and the flavors were delightfully blended together.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. I had the porkstrami and my wife had the Vietnamese fried chicken sandwich. My kids 9 and 10 had the regular burger and not the kids meal burger, and they were able to polish them off pretty easily showing at the portions are a little bit on the small side. Flavors were good, not outstanding, they could have had a little more cowbell and it would be over the top.
In Sioux Falls for work, found B&C online. Took me 30 mins to figure out what to order because of the incredible menu. Chose the Pork Belly Gyro, AMAZING!!! Staff was so friendly and we talked about menu. Came back on my last night here to get the Hawaiian Plate, OMfnG!!! Incredible. You must check this place out!!!
Everything about this place was fantastic! Really good food. Very nice patio. Super cool people. Eat here!
My husband and I were both super impressed with the food, drinks and service! I had the curried cauliflower sandwich and he had the falafel- really tasty! Definitely worth the detour from I-90! Also really appreciated the inclusive welcoming environment! The covered patio was a wonderful place to enjoy lunch!
Shared a couple dishes (chicken sandwich and cauliflower centered dish) and both were delightful! Patio is a fun lil place to sit.
Love the vibe there. Great place to have a beer and get so really good food.
Absolutely delicious! The food and atmosphere was fantastic with a beautiful patio view. I was blown away!
They didn’t even have lettuce for a burger... then the burger was a piece of charcoal with mustard only. The fries were below average for a high price.. not even on the level of McDonalds fries. Also the guy who took our order was snarky and said “I can give you some ketchup to jazz it up” when we asked if they had lettuce. Bunch of yuppies there.
INCREDIBLE FOOD! The pork belly gyro is the best thing I have ever had! Great beer selection and just overall good vibe! Thanks so much!
If youre able to get past the wonder that is the Vietnamese chicken sandwich, youll discover all sorts of treasures at B&C. The menu is solid; the specials are thoughtfully composed. The owners are pro-community, really listening well to the locals.
Decent Berger. Naughty fries - sofy...soggy. uninspired. Pour some salsa Verde around....lets throw on some crinkle fries and charge $11
Delicious food, great atmosphere and service. We love going there!
Pork Parm was fantastic. Really nice place. Ill be back.
I’ve enjoyed eating here when I’ve been in Sioux Falls. They have some unique tasty menu items and a nice causal but trendy atmosphere.
I really enjoyed my experiences here. The food is really good, and some of the best that I think you can find in Sioux Falls. The only thing I can fault them for is that the sandwiches do seem a bit expensive for what you get, if they could add something other than a small side of chips though I think it would be well rounded out and Id see myself going often. The sandwiches though really are great, and have flavors and combinations that are truly unique and will have you coming back. You can even get any of the sandwiches as a salad which is awesome for those looking to skip out on the bread (which is hard as its some of the best you can find!) They have some good options as well when it comes to beer, with many rotating taps featuring local and imported craft beers. One of the unique things I wish more people knew about though was that they offer ramen which is at this time a sorely missed food item in Sioux Falls. Well balanced broth flavoring and thickness, with some quality noodles and a very well cooked pork belly. You just cant go wrong!
Was showcased on Guy Fieris Food Network series...expected a little more
This was my first time eating at Bread and Circus and the entire experience was outstanding! As a Chef, and since moving to Sioux Falls, I have been searching for a creative, fun, delicious culinary experience and finally found it today! I am already looking forward to my next visit!#bestlunchinSiouxFalls
Saw this place on Triple D so stopped in. I had the Q burger and the Mrs had the Pork Parm and we shared an order of house frys. Owners of the restaurant please dont take offense to what Im about to say... The Q burger wasnt bad it just wasnt great. The meat patties were bland, no seasoning at all, the sauce that comes on it had a little flavor but not much. The Mrs ad the Pork Parm which was really good. The house frys which were a really good sized portion didnt come until after we had finished our other food and I was just literally getting up to cancel them. I will try this again, just hope it improves
What a fantastic find! It is a little hidden but worth the walk. Great food
The Vietnamese fried chicken sandwich is one of the best sandwiches Ive ever eaten. I also appreciate that the team there has been so thoughtful about running smoothly and safely during COVID. Ive ordered takeout from here multiple times in the past year, and the food has been ready so fast and done just as well as ever.
Me and my boyfriend went here for dinner last night and had such an amazing time!! We ordered an Italian Sandwich and a Burger with bacon. The Italian was so good I made my boyfriend switch with me because I wanted it so badly 😅 (sorry hun). We mentioned we are traveling from Alabama and they gave us the last eggnog ice cream and said “Welcome To South Dakota!” The service was amazing, the people were extremely welcoming and inclusive, and the food was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend to anyone visiting!
LOVE THIS PLACE! Amazing food, great beverage choices!
Great food, great selection of beer and a great location close to the airport and the falls
The burger was ok the naught fries are not worth paying for a total mess not good.
Excellent food! Everything Ive had has been amazing. Good selection of beer. Cool merch and rotating menu are also a plus! Patio is also super nice. True gem of Sioux Falls!
My husband and I just ate here for the first time. Tasty chicken sandwich and tuna sandwich. Good service. Highly recommend.
The Vietnamese Chicken Sandwich might be the best sandwich Ive had in the midwest. Friendly and helpful service every time. Great outdoor patio. This is definitely a must visit if coming to Sioux Falls
Super yummy! Great food
$14 Hawaiian plate—Kalbi Short Ribs, Rice, Island Mac Salad, Green Onions & Sesame Seeds. Four stars-though this kalbi isn’t Hoban’s, it wasn’t horrible. The kalbi itself was a little overcooked, but flavorful in its own way. The macaroni salad is quite unique also, it’s got a savory, sweet & crunchy element to it-very fresh tasting. The rice was cooked perfectly also. Service was also good
We started with the lamb tostadas and they were so full of flavor and delicious! The food was awesome service was very helpful when deciding and wonderful!
Stopped here in the middle of a long road trip; it felt like a little slice of home (Seattle) in Sioux Falls! Great food, service, and atmosphere!
I dont even understand how they make sandwiches so delicious! Love the environment and the employees. Thanks for taking your customers safety seriously and requiring masks, youre awesome!
Hands down one of the best local eats in the state of South Dakota. Excellent food and always great service. Dog friendly and awesome patio. Don’t pass this place up!
Bread and Circus has been one of my favorites since it’s opened but it has become one of the only places I will eat out during COVID. I so appreciate that they’ve taken steps to allow their patrons to eat outside in balmy SD winters to keep them safe, and that their staff and guests are always wearing masks to protect themselves and others. 10/10 always.
One of my favorite restaurants in Sioux Falls! The staff and friendly and the food is incredible. I love that Bread & Circus is taking COVID seriously and appreciate the precautions they are taking. They have a spacious patio and to go options. I suggest the cauliflower curry!
This is a unique and fun place to eat. Every meal is a yummy surprise.
Bomb food. The kitchen gets so creative. When we have friends visit this is a must-try stop. The patio is one of my favorite places to grab dinner in Sioux Falls.
Very modern farmhouse feel with great sandwichesLoving Sioux Falls!
I got the Vietnamese Chicken sandwich, and it was good, I just got too much beer flavor in my food for me personally. That being said I loved the chicken and how crispy it was, it wasnt greasy at all, if you dont mind beer flavor then I would recommend highly. The atmosphere was good nice decor, interesting seating, you can also sit out side when its nice out. Overall really good would go again definitely. The staff was great as well 😁 always made sure we had enough and wasnt too much either, just the right balance. 10/10 for the service.
Good beer collection and tasty food. love the gyro
Love this place! Awesome food & local beer selection, great service, beautiful heated patio & it’s right by the Falls... on top of all of that, they take the health of their customers and staff seriously- they check all of the boxes for local businesses that you want to support!
I very much enjoyed my dining experience at the B&CS. I was able to walk right up and order, I got the brisket and my wife had the Italian. The bread is delicious with a hearty firmness that escapes the abilities of distant sandwich shops like SUBWAY or as I prefer to call them McSub. The bread was toasted with the distinctive flavors of a good brisket without the overdone burnt flavor that the inexperienced are masters of. The ingredients are fresh and the atmosphere was relaxing.
Great food and great atmosphere. We love coming downtown and sitting outside during the summer. The staff are alway so helpful and friendly. One of our regular and favorite places to eat in Sioux Falls!
One of my favorite places downtown! The staff is always super friendly and the food is always hot. I appreciate the business keeping the customers safe with masks!
I was really excited to try the restaurant as I saw it was on triple ds and I was sadly let down. The Vietnamese sandwich was so burnt it was unediable. Extremely disappointed and will not go back.
Fun, trendy, and unique! Perfect spot for a sandwich when youre downtown. Eat inside or on the heated patio. Try the tuna melt sandwich...its one of a kind!
Very good food. Fun atmosphere.
