I have always loved this store and try to make a point to shop there at least once a year because they always have really cute posters, stickers and other items. I am very disappointed in how I was treated today. I stepped into the store not realizing that they were just about to close as I saw other customers in there. An employee came up to me as I was looking at stickers and very rudely told me to hurry up and pick something out, pay and leave after she had come close to me and stared at me for several minutes. She told me they were closed, I needed to hurry and leave. As a service worker, I totally understand wanting to leave when you are close but I honestly had no idea they had closed. I started to put away the stuff I was looking at and apologized to which she repeated the same thing again, we are closed, hurry, pay, leave. It was totally unnecessary to treat me this way as I immediately tried to leave when told they were closing. Her overall demeanor and treatment towards me was condescending and aggressive, especially because I tried to leave immediately. That being said, their products are great and I have never had a problem with this before. Hopefully this experience was just a bad day for her.

Super cute shop. I bought the greatest necklace here while road tripping through the Midwest. The downtown area where the shop is located is really cute as well.

Been in here a few times and all the employees EXCEPT the OWNER are Friendly. SHE IS EXTREMELY RUDE! I thought the first time she was having a bad day but the second time now I know that is how she is. Get a grip! You OWN a store which last time I checked customer service kinda comes with it. I probably won’t be back unless it has something that I need. I gave 3 stars one for each star of the nice employees that work there that have to “deal” with that Karen.

This store has a huge selection of items. Its a great place to go when youre looking for gifts! I came here before Christmas to find unique presents for co-workers and was not disappointed.As a side note, when I visited, it was at the height of the pandemic in Sioux Falls. I was concerned about doing any shopping in stores, but needed to get a few things in person. I appreciated that they required all of their customers to wear masks. It shows that they care about the safety of both their staff and the community. While I was visiting a staff member had to politely ask a women to leave who refused to wear a mask and was looking for confrontation. I was very impressed with how he handled it without escalating the situation.

Cool stuff. Tad spendy but not unreasonable.

As soon as you say, This is not a political statement..., you are making a political statement. How disappointed my wife and I were - visiting from Texas - that we could not go into this store because of their mask requirement, irregardless of medical conditions that might prevent someone from wearing said mask. For an establishment like this to fail to be sensitive to those unable to wear masks is offensive and discriminatory. The tone with which this store presents its requirement with their sign is also uncalled for and could have been communicated in a more gentle manner. Instead, it is filled with hostility and divisivess towards people who do not fit into the mask reich.

I love the gift items, but the manager/owner was completely rude. Wow. I won’t be going back. (There are other reviews that say the same.)

Had fun looking through the local quirk musium in the back of the store. The items in the the store are just as quirky. Our friends posed with the wax lips and mustache found just inside the store to the left. Good place if you are looking for QUIRKY time.

Zandbroz is such a great store in Downtown Sioux Falls! I especially love their book, occult, and stationary selections. The store is a great size, easy to navigate, and fun to explore. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Ive been going to Zandbroz for years. They have great wacky little trinkets that you never knew existed or needed and a decent selection of books, writing tools, kitchenware, and jewelry to boot. Can always find something to take home or buy as a gift; always worth a stop.

I thought it was just a book store when i was walking by and decided to go in, but color me pleasantly surprised when i discovered their variety of knick knacks, gift opportunities, and just various odds and ends. From fancy shmancy pens to crystals, from funny mugs to antiques, sprinkle in some jams and hot sauces, some candles and puzzles, and throw in the books and you get the gist. Honestly a great place to go have a fun shop around after a couple beers, though you may spend more than you intended. Great selection.

This store is always my go-to for gifting for all my friends and family (and myself!). The addition this year of the online shopping option was phenomenal. I cant say enough good things about Zandbroz, my entire family always loves to go there. Their products are unique, creative, hilarious, high quality, and thoughtful. Unique and comical stuff to buy.

Zandbroz is full of fun little things. Great for gifts or finding a book to read. You definitely need to go to the back and check out all the history they have displayed in some grand items. Staff are very kind and helpful when asked questions.

I love Zandbroz!! Ive always had a great experience here and I have fun memories coming for ice cream with my dad as a kid when the soda bar was open. Its a great spot for gifts, books, stationary, and much more! The expansion is nicely done and I enjoy looking at the antiques. I also appreciate Zandbroz for asking customers to wear masks during Covid-19 to protect their customers, staff, and the community.

I really like this store otherwise but I would be careful with their vintage pens. They are very friendly and willing to help you with them and although they shine the outside of the pens I have bought a couple that were clearly unrestored and one had major tine misalignment problems. I would buy more vintage pens there but they are 2 for 2 with fountain pens that were not fully restored. Their selection of inks is neat and they have a fair amount of modern pens, but for the price the pens should be restored inside and out imo.Edit: I was able to do the repairs on the pens myself but I would urge to double check the pen before buying to make sure it works as expected. I dont think it is an unreasonable ask to be able to test the vintage pens before buying.

They must be making tons money if they dont mind turning away customers from their over-priced merchandise. I like to be able to breath while shopping and decided to hit a bookstore around the corner. They were much friendlier and I was happy to spend my money at the book co-op. Ill steer clear from Zandbroz from now on.The owner is clearly rude and incompetent too. The way he responded to a previous customer review is ridiculous. We are not dealing with a global pandemic. It was downgraded long ago to an outbreak. Wake up buddy!!

For over 20 years, Zandbroz has been one of my favorite spots in Sioux Falls. I also GREATLY appreciate the mask policy they maintain for the safety of our community.

Zandboros is a beautiful store with a wonderful atmosphere! They have some of the most interesting gifts for sale, and every time im downtown I like to walk through and take in the store.

Though a but pricey for certain things, I love this place and its character. So many unique things and stuff you wouldnt normally shop for, but always neat stuff and I can always find something interesting and walk out with something bought in my hands. Got to talk to the owner who was very kind. Ive been going here for years and the only reason I choose 4 stars is because I miss the soda bar so much :(. New residents to Sioux Falls. Went exploring on Monday, August 26 and came across this store. Very unfriendly and welcoming. Seemed to be judging customers. We felt uncomfortable and left. Will never return.

An essential part of the downtown core, Zandbroz is almost the only shop in town where Ive gone in looking for a gift and left happily with something I never knew existed. Its always fun to scan the whole store. The shop windows always have creative displays. The book selection is smallish, but well-honed toward the remarkable, so you might not find a popular paperback from a high-volume author, but Ive found books there from award-winning authors that the local Barnes and Noble didnt have. Id also go here first for any book of local or regional interest. I do miss the days of the operating soda fountain.

This is an all time favorite unique little shop. You can find everything from socks to cookbooks, boardgames, house decor, gems and stones, amazing candy, and more. There is always something different to check out. The staff is generally very down to earth and friendly as well.

The least friendly business in downtown Sioux Falls. We have gone into Zandbroz several times and have NEVER been greeted in any form. 3 employees behind the counter and no one checking out, yet no one bothered to greet potential customers arriving or walked around to see if anyone needed help. Welcome to Downtown Sioux Falls!

You never know what you are going to find at this place which is great! The staff is helpful, and prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend going here if you are looking for a random gift or some different home or room decor.

Super neat little store. Didnt have a ton of time there, but its the first place that Ive seen with a solid collection of vintage restored fountain pens. There were so many little bits and baubles there. The employees were patient and helpful as well. I ended up getting a restored pen, havent gotten a chance to test it out yet, but looks to be in good condition.

One of the most unique shops in Sioux Falls by far. Zandbroz actually feels like two different stores when you do a full walkthrough. In the front youll find various odds and ends for the house, a good selection of literature and books, jewelry, quality crafted pens and journals, and a great toys section for kids.Walk further and youll find yourself in a low-lit antique shop with lots of unique local antiques as well as some frequently sought after pieces like beautifully crafted writing desks, bookshelves, typewriters and near anything else you can think of.Cant recommend enough, great staff and service wrap up the package and create a must-see downtown destination.

Coolest store on Phillips it’s a must see if you’re in town. You might not buy much but it’s always worth a visit to see what they have, especially with the remodel to see the antiques in the back.
