I went to the shop for a look at my car over the weekend. I was in an accident. They came highly recommended by friends. The entire staff was welcoming upon arrival. Even the customers were friendly. Eddie was so kind and helpful. I was very grateful for the experience. Unfortunately, I live far away but I would fully recommend this shop to anyone. Eddie knew everything to look for with the car. My husband is a mechanic and Eddie gave a quote that pretty much exactly aligned with my husbands quote. He knew how to handle everything with insurance and made the process easy. Amazing experience with the people here. Eddie was beyond helpful making sure after my accident we were taken care of. Went above and beyond by giving us advice on how to go about working with our insurance. The woman working at the front desk was also very sweet and extremely mindful of our situation.

The people at Smithtown Auto Body are extremely helpful. They know a lot about the different insurance companies, and helped me handle the paperwork every step of the way. They made a stressful experience much easier. My van is a 2001 and some of the parts were discontinued, but they went above and beyond to make it look new again. My van looks great and I definitely recommend them.

Smithtown Auto Body Shop is wonderful! I was a new customer who came in and they were so kind to me. Its like they knew me forever. They assessed the damage to my car, ordered the part and did the labor all within a couple of hours. They did a great job and charged a reasonable price. I would highly recommend them!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! I called them as soon as I was rear ended and they walked me through EVERYTHING step by step including calling my insurance company, setting up my rental car, etc. they couldn’t have made the process any easier from start to finish. The insurance company gave 14 days to get the job done and they finished in less than a week! They even let me pick up my car after hours because of my work schedule. Ive used Smithtown Auto Body for repairs several times during the past few years. Ive found them to be excellent and honest. Eddie listens to what you are saying and tries — and succeeds — in getting your vehicle repaired and back to you in the time he said it would take. There have been a few occasions where my car insurance company directed me to other autobody repair shops in the area with which they have contracts and the results were NEVER as good as they were when I used Smithtown Auto Body on my own. Heres one horror story: My insurance company at the time directed me to a repair shop operating out of King ORourke, which took a week longer to fix my car than originally promised. Finally, the day came when I was to pick up my car. I got a frantic call from the manager, telling me an accident had occurred. On the very day I was to get my car, someone backed into the front passenger door. Incompetence! If you have a choice of which shop to use, go to Smithtown Auto Body. They even clean the interior and exterior of the car after the work! The staff behind the desk is empathetic and helpful, too.

My husband and I were sold a Tacoma that had been rigged and painted over with foam core to disguise a fully rotted frame. We didnt discover the seriousness of the damage and the danger to our lives until we took it in for a diagnosis at SmithtownAutoBody. The team there was concerned about our safety while being warm, friendly and and swift with all repairs. They replaced the entire frame, found a few additional areas that needed improvement and gave us the most reasonable pricing out of every place we spoke to. Im grateful that there is finally an honest automotive repair expert who is happy to explain everything in detail and offer the most competitive rates for the highest quality of work. One day and I got back my car

Getting into an accident is never a fun experience, however Smithtown Auto Body can relieve anyones stress when it comes to dealing with an accident and all of the things that come with it (insurance, renal car, etc.). I can say that Smithtown Auto Body is a gem of a place hidden in Central Long Island. From the second you walk in you are being greeted by the friendly women behind the front desk, and Eddie, the owner himself, will come out and help you in any way he can. All of the people there are welcoming, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I live in East Elmhurst (about 45miles away) and made the trip out to Smithtown just to come to this body shop and I can say that I wholeheartedly would recommend that anyone else who has any car need do the same. You will not be disappointed.

Went here to get pictures taken from my insurance company a couple minutes before they closed for the day. The staff was still very friendly and detailed and got this done in no time at all.

I have to say that Ive have had my fare share of using other body shops and have been disappointed. But since Ive been using Smithtown auto body I know my cars come out amazing and that its left in good hands thanks again.

I am the original owner of a 2010 Acura TL. Over the years, I racked up a few dents and scratches. I brought my car to Smithtown Auto Body to remove the dents and scratches, compound the car, and wax it. Well, in one days time, they made the car look like new. The car glimmers in the sun, and the rain beads up and falls off the car. The car looks better than it did when I picked it up new at Acura with 6 miles on it. Best of all, the cost was very reasonable for their terrific work product. Im so impressed; I will certainly bring any of my cars to them in the future. I just hit my car with a pickup in the parking lot because I didnt notice the small part of that pickup which is used to tow something else. My bumper is just pushed in a little bit and some small scratches. However, they are going to charge me more than 700 bucks for that little scratches, which is unbelievable! Cant be so much expensive! So I just drove my car back and didnt repair it at all.

I was rear ended and they fixed my bumper under insurance they did a decient job on it. The problem was it took 4 weeks and when Eddie called me down to pick up the car the passenger door had a huge gash in it. I noticed it at the gas station down the block. I brought it back immediately, them he proceeded to try and say I brought it to him like that a month ago. I laughed at him gave him the keys and said you have 3 days to make this right and walked away. I came back in 3 days and the car was fixed.The gash looked like a flat bed tow truck backed into my passanger door. The repair on the door was aceptable, but far from perfect.Watch these guys they will try to get over on you if they can. Im not giving them anymore of my business.

WARNING STAY AWAY FROM SMITHTOWN AUTOBODY I bought my car there I had scuffed my driver side of my car I lost control and hit a guard rail. I Bring my car here and fixed it the job was horrible the back door would not close you have to slam it extremely hard and the paint did not match from the front door and back door like 2 different tones of blue colors anyways let me get to the point THEY SCAMMED ME THEY STOLE PARTS FROM MY CAR AND I GOT IT CONFIRMED FROM THE BMW DEALERSHIP the dealership foreman took my headlight out said these are from a 2006 I have a 2009. Smithtown auto body took my original 09 headlights and replaced it with fogged up broken 06 headlights I noticed it right away my original headlights were crystal clear I Know my Own Car! then I got the car back with these fogged up older busted headlights I noticed it right away and German parts are EXPENSIVE thats why they stole it STAY AWAY from this place !!!

I was real skeptical about a body shop fixing my 2012 tahoe because I didnt want a half ass job done on a brand new truck but eddie was great and did a outstanding job at a very reasonable cost. Accidents can happen at anytime but I dont look forward to seeing you in future lol thanks again have a good one

I wish I never came here! Biggest mistake I made At first Eddie and the employees there were very nice in the begining. I went there to fix the front of my car 2011 infiniti G37 my front my hood got dented in hedlight broke etc... was not major damage anyways... I did not want to go through insurance but he was forcing me to go through insurance this was unprofessional we agreed on $1900 EVEN Cash. (they want to go thru insuance so they can charge my insurance 5 grand for a 2000 dollar job and make my insurance skyrocket...Anyways.. I HAVE A HABBIT WHEN I GIVE MY CAR TO INFINITI TO GET SERVICE OR IF I DROP IT OFF AT A WORKSHOP ITS MY HABBIT I ALWAYS CHECK THE MILEAGE AND THE GAS LEVEL THEY HAD MY CAR FOR 6 DAYS when i went to pick it up there was 48 MILES DRIVEN ON MY CAR !!!!!!!! I HAD A LITTLE OVER 3/4 GAS TANK WHEN I DROPPED IT WHEN I PICKED IT UP IT WAS BETWEEN 1/4 AND HALF TANK !! THEY DROVE MY CAR 48 MILES JOY RIDING BEATING MY CAR UP IT SHOULD BE 1 OR 2 MILES DRIVIN ON THIER LOT BUT 48 MILES !! THATS RIDICULOLOUS AND THE RADIO WAS ON SOME ROCK MUSIC STATION I DONT LISTEN TO THAT NOR HAVE ANY PRESETS SET TO THAT MUSIC AND FOR 6 DAYS THE WHOLE TIME THEY WORKING ON MY CAR EACH DAY MAR CAR WAS STARTED AND LEFT ON 5 6 HOURS A DAY JUST RUNNING SO THEY CAN LISTEN TO MUSIC WITHOUT MY BATTERY DIE THE AMOUNT OF GAS THEY USED I COULD GET 120 MILES OUT THAT SO 48 MILES THEY DROVE AND EVERY DAY HAD MY CAR ENGINE ON 5 6 HOURS EVERYDAY SO THEY CAN LISTEN TO MUSIC AND ITS SO BAD LEAVING THE ENGINE IDLE FOR SO LONG AND THEY DID IT CONTINUOUS EVERYDAY ON TOP !! THE MILEAGE ODOMETER AND GAS GAUGE DOES NOT LIE !! AND MY ALIGNMENT WAS MESSED UP BIG TIME THEY PROBALLY DROVE MY CAR OVER CURBS LUCKILY I GOT THE ALIGNMENT FIXED FROM INFINITI.. STAY AWAY FROM HERE THEY ARE CORRUPT AND WILL TREAT YOUR CAR LIKE CRAP. AND THIER WORK SUCKS ON MY HOOD I SEE SO MANY DRYED UP DRIPS ON PAINT. AND THE PAINT WAS LIKE A DIFFERNT SHADE OF COLOR THEN MY ORIGINAL VERY NOTICABLE STAY AWAY !!!!
