Great land owners. Office staff is great people and quite easy to get along with. You stay here you must stop at Zoeys 4 and a half star restaurant. The food is great and they do karaokes on Fridays. Oh what a blast. oops Harbor lights is great. (RV PARK)They pay water. They keep the park simple to ensure they are able to pay for the many water and sewage issues. They have a couple restrooms open 24/7 for our convenience. Right by the main office so its quite safe. Theres boat ramps and some fishing sights. Be mindful of the TVA traffic they literally fly over on Sequoia Rd. Just look thrice for safety. Be careful I love it here so much I pay my RV Park rent in advance.

If I could leave negative starts I would! They had our boat for over a year…zero communication…and then acted like it wasn’t them but the outside maintenance company they hired that was not communicating with us or repairing our boat….well….it’s all a reflection of your company. We lost almost two summers of use of our boat because of the issues with this place. We sold our boat because they made the ownership a lot harder than it should have been! Save your time and money and go someplace else! We told multiple times our boat was fixed and ready and it was not!

Good place to rent a boat here. Unfortunately the boat we rented broke down in the middle of the trip. They managed to get another one in a short time, so the trip was not a disastrous one though... crew was very friendly!

Always a pleasure coming up there to the marina, my nephew and his family keep their Jet Skis there and we all go out as much as we can. Staff members are all friendly and helpful Always!!!

Excellent as always! Beer is ice cold and you cant find any better Buffalo shrimp!! They are huge and not over breaded. Zois and Allison have a gem here. Its also right on the water for boaters.

They made a dying man pay for a whole years rental before they would let him take his boat out of the marina. That to me is despicable, and not fair, would not reccomend you keep your boat here.

Very beautiful place. We rented a boat house hosted by Darrell and it was cozy, clean and perfect for a weekend on the water to fish. Check in was easy. The boat house was cool and welcoming when we arrived. Everyone we met and talk to was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this to place and will one day return.

Let me start by sharing the good things about my experience. 1) motor worked 2) boat did not sink 3) and my family created more cherished memories with laughable moments.My family made the best out of our trip; however, we would have had a better experience if the radio, horn, lights, or any electric aspects of this boat worked. Also, I could not “tilt” the motor out of the water (another electrical component not working). Another frustrating yet hilarious part of our trip was that the anchor was way too small for the size of the boat.Now I know why the marina employee did not go over the boat check list with me before we shoved off. A marina employee is supposed to go over the boat features with the renter which did not happen.Overall my family had a great time! Made the best with what we had. Caught a bunch of fish, went swimming, and made memories which is what we wanted. Marina is conveniently located too, but in the future, we will probably explore other boat rental options before renting from Harbor Lights Marina again.

Rented a pontoon boat for a full day at $500. No boat lights, no working horn. Fuel gauge did NOT work. Boat was dirty When we boarded and seat covers were torn. Black mold was covering the steering console. After using for about two hours on the lake the boat would not start. Eventually had to call the marina to get towed back to the dock (by jet ski). Staff made excuses for poor condition of the boat and said its a boat, these things happen . Was forced to pay $15 for fuel usage. Did get refunded half my rental fee ($250). Will NEVER go back to this business because of attitude of the manager and lack of customer service . I advise looking elsewhere for boat rentals.

If I could give 0/5 stars, I would!! We highly recommend NOT using the services at this marina!!! We rented a Pontoon boat several weeks ago for our 2020 August trip, only to be given a deck boat with a broken gas gage and full tank because the pontoon was unavailable/broken. After only 2-3 hours enjoying the lake, our group was stranded in the middle of the lake for well over 2 hours! The marina provided no help and implied it was an operator error. After finally procuring a boat tow back to the house, and receiving help from friendly locals, as a result of someone swimming to shore and other friends at shore knocking door to door; the marina finally sent a technician to our rental house. After over an hour of diagnostics, it turns out the gas tank was EMPTY! The technician instructed we go BUY a small tank of gas from town so wed have enough gas to make it to the local marina to fill up (mind you, a 45 gallon tank). After filling up the tank the next day, turns out...the gas gage WORKS!! Upon returning the boat on the fourth day, the marina delivered unbelievably terrible customer service and granted no understanding of our situation. They did NOT compensate us for our lost time, extra money spent, and overall...the hassle! They awarded us a free fill-up upon return, which by the way doesnt result as a compensation considering the tank was provided empty.

I am giving two stars because the boat did not sink, nor did I cause bodily harm. But the experience was a far stretch from what I paid for. Even worse, the staff, including the managing partner, Louis Zarzour, we’re all completely unwilling to remedy the situation.I will not ever rent from them again.We rented boat S2, I will list everything that I noted was not working, then I will explain how it impacted our rental.the speedometerthe gas gaugethe bilge pumpall of the auxiliary lightsThe horn (navigation issue)Navigation lights, including the masthead, stern light, port and starboard lights.the radio/speakersthe motor trim adjustment switchThe bow ladderThe capacity plate stated that the boat was rated for up to 200HP motor, but we were only equipped with a 115 HP oneThe rope for the tube was dangerously close to the prop because of a knot in the rope, this was not really something broken but it caused a large amount of anxiety.To begin with, we did not pull out of the dock until after 11 am, a full hour after our rental started. This was in large part because it was clear the dock was severely understaffed, and our dock attendant was unprepared, and frankly unknowledgeable, about preparing a boat and tube for departure. We started the day with less than we paid for.The operation of the boat was overall subpar, and continued to get worse as the day went on. From the beginning our boat struggled to plane. We achieved it on two or three occasions in the AM by piling everyone on the bow of the boat. By the afternoon we were not able to plane and the boat seemed to slow to a crawl.Because we could not plane, I do not believe we were able to go faster than about 10-15 MPH (there was no way to tell because of the speedometer). On top of being unable to wakeboard whatsoever, tubing was much less enjoyable as well.We gave up on recreational activities, despite the fact it was the only reason we rented a boat. But even simple navigation proved difficult at best. Turning the outboard motor would pull the propeller completely out of the water resulting in a total and sudden loss of power and steering. Trying to correct it by straightening the wheel and resubmerging the propeller in the water would cause a sudden acceleration, and caused a number of our party lurch/fall over in their seats. This could have caused serious and avoidable injury. We were unable to lower the motor into the water any more because the trim adjustment was not working.We could not travel far because of the ever decreasing speeds, and despite multiple returns to the dock and speaking with a (fairly unfriendly) dock attendant about the problems, it didnt seem like any resolution could be had. We ended up parking the boat in an alcove very close to the marina and swimming to make the best of the remaining time on the rental.We have rented from Harbor Lights before and had a good experience, but overall, this time made me feel like next time we will try somewhere else.

Dropped my boat off in August to get a wear ring and impeller, told me it would be 2 weeks for parts to get there and 4hrs to do the job, called back in 2 weeks told me 5 boats a head of me, parts still not ordered, today is november 12, I went and got my boat yesterday, because they still have not ordered parts or done any damn thing to my boat, almost 4 months wasted. I would not recommend this service department to no one.

Brenden and his staff have always been pleasant and great to work with. They along with the other customers are like one big family and are always willing and ready to help you out... It’s just a fun environment to be around. Also Bryan in service is awesome. He’s the best service tech I’ve ever met that worked on my boat.

I rented a deck boat from them and the staff were very helpful and friendly at both the pick up and return. The boat ran great and I had no mechanical issues. The speedo and depth gauge didnt work so that was a little disappointing especially since i had never been to the lake before. Other than those two issues the boat was what my family needed for a short vacation. Again, the staff were great just wish they had let me know of the speedo and depth gauge. I would highly recommend renting from them the price was lower than most other marinas in the area and I was told that they plan to buy a new fleet of rentals in the near future.

We have rented a boat from this place twice and broke down both times. They charged us $80 dollars in fuel for 6 hours of boat time, and at least 4 of those hours we were sitting still either waiting for help, or anchored down so we could swim. The staff is excellent but the place is a rip off.

This is the worse Marina. We rented a boat and it is pouring down rain and calling for storms most of the day and they would not refund any portion of our money. They would rather us take their boat out in this weather and risk the safety of their clients than give any portion of our money back. Horrible customer service. Dont use this Marina.

The shape of the double decker pontoon boat made for a bad day and not enjoyable day.Would not rent a boat again without going to the Marina and making sure the steering and the water on the slide worked. We could not take the boat out and ride around and come back into our dock like we wanted to do because of the steering. If my husband wasn’t a experienced driver and didn’t have the knowledge to understand mechanical problems it would of been worse. Also it was dirty and the pieces of flooring was chipped up. Also charged a late fee even after explaining to them the problem we had getting to the dock to get everyone off the boat for him to return it.

RUN AND NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! They are extremely unprofessional, rude, and customer service is horrendous all the way from the Owner, Darrell, to the staff that assist customers. They provided a boat that the gas gauge was showing empty, and when questioned they said the boat is full of gas and the gauge is broken. This resulted in being stranded in the middle of the lake BECAUSE THE BOAT RAN OUT OF GAS. Once the boat was filled with gas, what do you know, the gauge showed full. There are other reviews with the same experience and please listen to those reviews and take your business elsewhere.

This Marina is a nightmare. My wife and I rented a vessel from Harbor Lights for four days as part of a week-long getaway. When we arrived, we were given the incorrect boat because the original rental was broken. When we departed the Marina with the new vessel, we looked down and noticed that the gas gauge read empty. We turned around immediately. The gas station attendant told us that the gas gauge was broken and assured us that the boat had a full tank. He advised us to fill it up at a local marina each morning (to be safe). We used the boat for about 2.5 hours (that same day) and found ourselves stranded in the middle of the lake. We called the marina and they offered NO ASSISTANCE.We eventually had to swim to shore and ask a random lakeside homeowner for help. They were kind enough to tow us back to our rental home. The marina sent a repairman to take a look at the vessel. After sitting with him for about an hour, he determined that we had run out of gas. He apologized on behalf of the marina and suggested that we go to the nearest gas station and put 5 gallons of gas in the boat (God forbid hed have provided it himself). He also assured us the gas gauge was BROKEN. We woke up the next morning, bought a gas can, put 5 gallons in the boat, and went to the nearest marina. We filled up the boat (40+ gallons), and to our surprise the gas gauge worked GREAT! We used the boat for the remaining three days with no issues.When we returned to the marina, I asked to speak to the manager, Lewis, and explained what had happened a few days prior. He was condescending, rude, derogatory, and acted as if we couldnt read a gas gauge (along with the original gas station attendant). He finally agreed to return 5 hours of usage for the first day (because we had enjoyed the first 3 hours of usage, give me a break...) and suggested we call first thing the following week. He also credited us for our gas at the end of our four day session (so kind), which we returned empty (since thats how we received it).We called back the following week. Lewis was again rude and disrespectful, this time to my wife, and told us we wouldnt be receiving anything beyond our free gas. Worst customer service Ive ever had in my ENTIRE LIFE. STAY AWAY!

Went ALL the way up there to eat at MF Jones sat outside and waited and it never even opened! 100* outside and no hours even posted on the doors so we got back in our boat and left hot, thirsty and hungry!

Havent had our boat there long, but so far if it was possible to rate 6 stars I would. Brenden and the marina staff do a great job helping out as much as possible to get boats in and out of the water and more. Great service!

If you are looking for a good marina, look no further. This place is amazing. The owners are very nice and very professional; if ever there is an issue (which is rare) they are quick to address it. The amenities available are top notch. Good prices too! You can’t ask for more!

Alex is the best! He is always so nice and willing to go the extra mile. The marina is looking better everyday, but gas is too high! I can go to Pine Harbor for gas and always save at least .60 per gallon, even after my discount at Harbor Lights. I hate going to someone else and want to Give Harbor Lights my business, but I end up paying $60.00 more for a tank of gas.

Have always had very good service here and the people that work the ship store are always so nice and kind. Everytime I’m in there even when it’s not me I still hear of them helping people out and always talking so nice to others. Need gas for your boat that’s the place to go.

Edited review. We had a bad experience here last October but gave them another try today and everything is fantastic. I think we must have caught them on a bad day last year or they’ve made a lot of improvements in their maintenance and management.

Spent a full day out on the water with one of their 30ft pontoon boats and had a blast for my 23rd birthday! Great people and great service! Half off Mondays-Thursdays is the best! I will be coming back for sure. Thanks Gary and the Harbor Lights team!

Have my boat docked here. It is very convenient to where I live, has easy access to the docks and they are continually maintaining and upgrading the facilities. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had in a restaurant. Our waitress was having a bad night which is understandable. We were there for two and a half hours and finally got our bill. It was wrong twice. $30 too much. I just paid it. Not one time did a manager come ask us about our two and half hour visit was going. Stay away unless u have three days to eat dinner and pay $30 more than u should

This is a great and improving marina. The owners vision is coming to light, and its a pleasure to watch all the progress being made! Locally owned, so they have a vested interest in pleasing customers. Had to laugh at some of the bad reviews by people who try to break contracts or bring boats in 3 hours late!! Great food and amazing view, definitely making a return trip.

Took my grandkids out for a day fishing. We had a wonderful time. We got a deck boat and it was just what we needed. Staff helped us load up our gear, made sure my grandkids had proper fitting life jackets, and were just so helpful. Will return again.

Horrible management. They dont live up to any of their promises of improvement. Charge us for spider removal and they have not done so. Tried to raise our rent by $43/ month in the middle of our contract which is illegal. We left and went to a much nicer marina and they then tried to charge us for two additional months and a late fee. I really hope that TVA makes them take down the docks that theyve built on the channel. This place is an embarrassment.

Darrell Jones has a great business going here. We had a hiccup in the day, our plans changed but Darrell made it right and I would recommend this place to anyone in the Chattanooga area.

Very disappointed. Hydrobike was rented on line for friends birthday. Bike was not ready to go. After 45 min of my friends husband trying to assemble bike with no offer of help from staff, nor offer of reduced price my friend left with refund!

We kept our boat there for several years. We were mostly happy until they were bought by new owners. They promised to improve the marina.We did not see any improvements. The parking was horrible. The access to our boat was horrible. We stayed because the rates seemed fair and reasonable. In March I called to make a payment and was told they were raising our rate by $23 a month. I then told them we would leave that the marina was not worth paying an additional $23 a month. I was then told we were in a contract. They tried to raise the fee before the contract was up. I told them I would finish the contract at the rate I had been paying. I just received an invoice from them by mistake. They actually increased the rate by $43 a month. We moved to another marina and are saving over $50 a month. We now have a nice parking lot and much easier access to our boat. They were unpleasant to deal with and seem to only care about $$$$ not their customers. We are much happier at our new marinaUpdate:This was the owners response after he asked me to remove my review: all I can say is WOW!:Becca, That is fine. I called you to see if there was something that I wasnt seeing that we did either by mistake or a misunderstanding and to try to correct, as in 15 years in business Ive never seen someone behaving so vindictive. Ive dealt with 1000s of customers so thought we must have messed up somewhere and I wanted to correct if so. It seems my manager did exactly as she should have in enforcing the contract that was in place. You were charged for nothing that wasnt valid and she even voided out several late fees. You were even paying a lower rate than anyone else in the marina in addition the only one paying quarterly, which most of the times you were late. I also support her in not being bullied by your threats of leaving us bad reviews for enforcing the contract in place. You would think being a part of a legal team (Im sure a very small part) would know this. We are honest people and will do the fair and honest settlement overtime. With that said, it doesnt mean just because youre rude youre going to get your way. Seems you are just mad you did get your way and to void a valid contract. Its very clear you and your husband are just ugly people inside and out. I truly feel sorry for you but still wish you nothing but happiness away from our company. Just remember, what goes around comes around.
